Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista
I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. The Wifi card is listed under NICs as being installed and activated. the hardware on my laptop Wifi switch is set on "on" and the light is blue, indicating that the card is working.
I can connect to the internet if I connect physically my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable wireless, so the modem isn't the problem. Other computers can connect to the wireless modem, so my Wifi modem functionality is not the problem. The problem with my computer.
I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.
I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? Wireless and WiFi Link"drivers for Windows Vista (32-bit 13.1.1.1 the latest version and the previous version 12.4.4.5 32-bit) for the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN directly from the Intel Web site at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Wireless+WiFi+Link+4965AGN. The map didn't always work with a driver.
In addition to the pilots, I also downloaded a tool of diagnosis of Intel (Intel® PROSet /?) Utility of WiFi wireless connection for Windows Vista 32 -? Bit). Said diagnostic tool the WiFi card is not installed or enabled, however, Device Manager maintains that he is also installed and active.
Is there a problem that causes Device Manager to say that all is well with the card, but does not map to realize that they diminish the radio signals? Everything's fine, diagnostic, it just does not detect networks around him. Help, please.

If I do a fresh install of windows vista will be I need to reformat my hard drive
If I do a new install of WINDOWS VISTA I have to format to reformat my hard disks/drives?
Or do all what I have to do after doing a clean install, then back to factory settings? Could I use my other computers of WIN7 installation disc to upgrde it?
Hello
Your Windows 7 disc question topic:
What is an OEM of Windows 7 license, or a license to retail that you have bought yourself?
If preinstalled license of Windows 7 OEM or system integrator, it is related that it is installed on the original computer.
If it is a retail license, you can transfer it to another computer.
BUT a retail sales license can be installed on a single computer at any time.

With the help of different methods to reinstall the hard drive for a clean reinstall Vista formats.
Here are the different methods to reinstall Vista.
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.
Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.
If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Runnning BACK full screen in Windows Vista
I try to open and read some of my old school games, but I am unable to get the screen BACK to run full-screen mode. I have no idea what to do from here. I think I'm under the 32-bit version of Vista.
Hello
Welcome to Microsoft Windows 7 answers Forum!
The problem occurs because the Windows device drivers support all video modes BACK running. Windows device drivers are based on the Mode operating system display driver. You must contact the manufacturer of the driver or display adapter to get help.

Currently defined as the partitions:

Clean install of Windows Vista Edition family
Due to a Virus, I had to perform a cold install of Windows Vista Edition family. After completion and activation of the software, I received a message that my product is already in use. It was a clean install on the same computer that has more than 3 years.
Hello Steveowe,
It's normal. To activate it, you use telephone activation. It's free in most countries. See this link from my Web site: http://vistasupport.mvps.org/product_key_already_in_use.htm

Can a system pre-installed with Windows Vista be manually downgraded to Windows XP?
original title: Windows Vista to Windows XP?Can a system pre-installed with Windows Vista be manually downgraded to Windows XP?
No, you can't downgrade. But you can probably * clean install * Windows XP.
I say "probably" because there is a potential problem with drivers XP being available for all hardware. If the computer is a laptop, this risk is greater. So check with the manufacturer or on their web site to make sure that all the drivers you need do not exist for XP.

I bought Dw autonomous cs6 for windows and installed on a desktop computer once...? This means that I can install in your laptop? This laptop can be a Mac with Parallels VM - vm windows as a guest operating system - so can actually install on Windows (vista) vm?
Usually with Adobe software you can install and run on up to two systems - including virtual machines - provided that they are not used at the same time.
To move your license, it is also relatively simple to transfer the software between computers, if that's what you never want or need to do.

updates after clean install of Vista Home premium
I plan on upgrading the hard drive on my laptop two year old, which will require a clean install of Vista Home Edition full. I live in a remote with the satellite internet service. I would like to know in advance what will happen after the installation with the updates of the program. I will ask you to install them? It would take a lot of bandwidth?
Hi EllenCB,
Welcome to Windows Vista community responses.
Once you make a clean installation on your hard drive is erased. Now, when you install the operating system return updates that have been deleted will be delivered by Windows update to install on your computer. To save time and bandwidth, you can directly install Service pack 1 and Service pack 2 for Vista which would contain more updates. Of course when you run Windows update and when you try to download from the internet, your download speed will decrease. It is best to keep your system up to date which will allow your version of Windows to run better.
Before installing the update, run the checksur tool, this tool is running an ad hoc analysis of inconsistencies that might prevent future maintenance operations. Download the tool from the link below.

My laptop runs on Windows Vista 64-bit Service Pack 2 and the latest version of iTunes that can be installed on it is version 12.1.2.27. My question is: are there at - it a solution for this, or can I just no longer sync my iPhone 4 on my computer?
