Full screen video backgrounds facilitate the Muse?

I'm looking to create a site of parallax with the page 'top' with full-screen video training. Ideally, I don't want any player control, need to play on page load / loop continuously. It would be a bonus if I could add a layer of text on top, so I could add a scroll effect.

Anyone has any idea if this is possible on Muse and if so, how can I continue to do?

Thanks for any help in advance

Hi Shmojo,

  1. Extract all the files located in the package.
  2. Create a new page in MUSE
  3. Click on 'FILE' > 'add files to download.
  4. Select all the files except "prabhakarkumar.com.muse" and click Open. (These files will now be active)
  5. Now go to Page Properties > click on Meta Data
  6. Type: (in the HTML for))
  7. Save your page > ready to launch
  8. To change the video to download any .mp4 and rename it to river.mp4
  9. Open the components Panel and right click on river.mp4 and recreate a link to the video you just rename.

Going to market!

Thank you

  • How can you play/stop/display/hide different 5 full screen video background?

    Hello

    I have a file of edge with all 5 videos put in back full screen video with a class each as follows:

    loop reading auto backgroundvideo_1_mp4

    loop reading auto backgroundvideo_2_mp4

    loop reading auto backgroundvideo_3_mp4

    loop reading auto backgroundvideo_4_mp4

    loop reading auto backgroundvideo_5_mp4

    However, I want to 5 buttons that play the video chosen feature. 1 button plays video 1 and mask the other 4, button 2 play 2 video and mask the other 4 etc.

    But what code would I use to control the videos in the actions of the buttons?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    You can the following snippet to tell the buttons-

    1 button to just play video 1 and hide all other videos (in this case only TRAVEL say video 2)

    SYM.$("Video2") [0] () .pause;

    SYM.$("Video2"). Hide();

    SYM.$("VIDEO1"). Show();

    SYM.$("VIDEO1") [0] .currentTime = 0;

    SYM.$("VIDEO1") [0]. Play();

    Similarly, code on the 2 button to hide all other videos and play only video 1:

    SYM.$("VIDEO1") [0] () .pause;

    SYM.$("VIDEO1"). Hide();

    Display an item

    SYM.$("Video2"). Show();

    A video track

    SYM.$("Video2") [0] .currentTime = 0;

    SYM.$("Video2") [0]. Play();

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Full screen video mode, preserving the size of objects

    Hello

    My task is to show a video player using the full screen. I have no problem doing that, but I need to perform in such a way that only video scales to full screen while other objects (the player controls) remain unadjusted. If I just go full screen - mode everything onstage is furred naturally.

    Playing with the functions of full screen I could come up with the only solution that is to calculate a scale factor (based on, say, stage.width and stageWidth) and adjust the dimensions of the player controls and position accordingly.

    Is the best way to preserve the sizes of objects or there is a better technique?

    I was hoping that each display object has it's own scene and I could show only video fullscreen by doing something like:

    _video.stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
    _video.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

    but he's still developing all objects.

    Thanks much for sharing you experience (or sources).

    Hello

    I must apologize for my stupidity in the post in 2008-06-19 12:08:40 (as well as other incidents of my brain dysfunction). I made statements that are not true. For example, I said: "their assumption was that video is the King, and by default to go fullscreen is to resize the video only." It's BS. They don't make this assumption and, in fact, programmers have complete control over the display.

    kglad, you inspired me to look deeper into the hardware acceleration and now I understand better things (or so I hope).

    I do deviate acceleration hardware and all resizing occurs by program.

    My understanding is that when using the Rectangle across the video - he dimensionnera everything that is within the limits of the rectangle. I couldn't find a way to scale just a video using the rectangle. I was hoping that working a line as follows:

    _video.stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
    _video.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

    He did but in the same way that (note there no _video in scope)

    stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
    stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN; -which means that everything is scaled up.

    I don't think I fully understand the concept of stage again because in my mind that each object display had it's own step and this step translates the scene of a higher display object (parent). Actually, when I speak of stage - it takes the reference to the highest stage.

    kglad, if you find the time to clarify this point - it would be a huge contribution to humanity :-)

    Back to the description of how I coded full screen WITHOUT using hardware acceleration (in case someone still hope my intellect :-):)

    Step 1. A mechanism that responds to the wish of the user to see the screen full of thing.

    It could be a button with a listener added. The listener will change stage.displayState

    Step 2. Create a mechanism which reacts to changes in displayState.

    a. get System.Capabilities.screenResolutionX and screenResolutionY - these two parameters will tell you how wide and high video possible.

    b. calculate desired video dimensions based on the height and width of resolution and video metadata. This means that one of the ratios will give you scale factor. For example:

    var scaleFactor:Number = Capabilities.screenResolutionY/metaData.info.height will define how it increased (by definition _video.scaleY and scaleX = scaleFactor) using this scale factor newly calculated (assuming you want all the video screen filling).

    c. balance video. Center it if you wish.

    d. hide the objects you want to be shown in the view full screen

    e. visible positions of objects in a desired way. For example, move the player to the bottom of the screen controls calculate x and y, once again, by using parameters screenResolution.

    When the user leaves the mode full screen - reverse what has been done: resize the video at its original size, the positions of origin x and y, see other items, move the Player control to which they belong.

    Fact.

    A brief look at the approach is to enter full screen mode without resize the SWF to the origin. If no further action taken - your player look as it seems at the origin: all the preserved dimensions and swf is the position where there is default (left, Center, or right). And then resize/reposition specifications.

    It will be useful.

    Thanks kglad!

  • Pass elements according to the width of the browser & full screen video backgrounds

    Hallo,

    Possible how ist create with Adobe Muse, a Web site like this: http://www.bootsprinting.com

    Hi Chris!

    Just to translate the a little bit for others who may read this thread in the future... ;^)

    You can get this result within the Muse by creating a block of text that is 100% browser width (the width of the text block to align the edges left and right of the background of the browser are in drag Muse). Then take the sets of items that you want to have "reformatting" and each set of group. Then cut it, click an insertion point in the 100% width text block and paste. At this point, you have a group that behaves as a single character of text/letter. Repeat for each item you want "reformatting". You can use the text tool to select the entire document in the text frame and focus.

    If you can get a glimpse into the browser and close browser resizing adapt not enough groups that you pasted in the block of text on a single line, they will wrap to two, three, lines etc. and the text block, they'll grow in height, if necessary. You can also use paragraph withdrawals to adjust the width of the browser in which the packaging occurs.

  • Using the Volume keys on keyboard Minimzes full screen video

    I have a DM4 laptop, as well as a desktop computer 480 t, both running Windows 7 (64-bit).  I have the same problem with both.

    Whenever I use they keys on keyboard volume to adjust the volume, all the videos that I have full screen automatically closed full-screen mode to display the volume graph.  It is not specific to any type of video, application, or Web site.  It seems to be present throughout the system.

    Hello

    Uninstall the MediaSmart SmartMenu of your system, or uncheck the box to the list of startup as shown below:

    • Click Start .
    • In the search field, type: msconfig and when the option appears in the menu, press enter .
    • In the System Configuration window, click the Startup tab.

    Here is YouTube video that shows what you can do with this software.

  • All of a sudden my pictures folders are now all show in Windows Media Player and I can't open each photo in full screen, but only in the video display mode.

    All of a sudden my pictures folders are now all show in Windows Media Player and I can't open each photo in full screen, but only in the video display mode.   When I go to my pictures and choose view as thumbnails, that's fine, but when I click on the individual photo, it shows on the screen no video not in mode full screen and I can't move the photo to the photo without closing the video screen.  How can I get my pictures on Windows Media Player?

    This problem has now been resolved.  I went in my computer > tools > Folder Options > file Type, select the type of file and clicked on advanced then > change and changed back to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in Windows Media Player.  I had the idea of a response posted on this forum about a different issue, but who pointed me in the right direction.

  • Two s flv on the swf page, button full screen on every fact the same full-screen go video

    OK, so I use CS3 to try to put two videos on the same page of .swf .flv, BUT only go full screen any button of the video for skin to go full screen I press, and all the rest of the buttons on the skin works for the appropriate video. I remember in Actionscript 2.0, in component for video settings, you can change the name of the field in the schema to play multiple videos in a .swf file, wondering if AS3 had a similar setting to the full screen.

    You are welcome.

  • View full-screen media back to the small window after 20-30 minutes of play. WMP - 11, Classic, VLC, all media players.

    Did you recently clean reinstall of the operating system, no malware present, all drivers up to date, no media questions before you reinstall, now, when playing video files in any format, on any media player, full-screen doesn't "stick", but she climbs to view more small window for no apparent reason.  I tried to temporarily turn off anything that might interfere: malware apps, anti-virus, auto updaters, etc., even all the processes which seemed sure to stop temporarily, but after about 20 to 30 minutes to play any video format (mpeg4, avi, DVD disc, etc., full screen will jump to the small window for no apparent reason. When the problem persisted I even downloaded fresh copies of WMP 11, WMP Classic and VLC, but no joy, screen size change continues to happen with all the players, all types of video files. I'm out of ideas. What could possibly be the cause?

    [XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3, Intel 2.5 gHz, 1 GB Ram, 80 Gb HDD, SiS 661FX/GX Mirage Graphics... Yes, old, I know, but it worked well for me so far.]

    Thank you for your response. I tried your suggestions but they do not solve the problem.  You did, however, lead me to looking at my system settings instead of the settings for the media players - behavior was going on with WMP 11, Media Player Classic and VLC.  I found that, I hope, will prove to be the solution: in Device Manager > Sound, video & Game Controllers > media Remotes > properties I found my video controller (mciavi32.dll) opened its properties > settings > watch the video of 'window' or 'full screen '.  I selected "full screen" and for extra measure of value WMP 11 always open it in full screen. I have not done a test yet further with these three players, but I hope that these parameters will cure the problem. Oh yes, I went to SiS, I already had the latest display driver, but I have downloaded/installed a new copy anyway, just to be certain that my old one was not corrupted in a non-obvious way.

    Again, thank you for your help.

  • No full-screen video. Alienware 17 & Graphics amplifier

    I have a problem with my Alienware PC screen and full screen. The Setup is:

    Laptop Alienware 17
    Alienware graphic of the amplifier with a graphics card eVGA GeForce 970 installed.
    4K external display connected via HDMI

    Laptop computer and graphics amplifier aged less than 3 months.

    Problem is that when I go to display full-screen video I can hear the video playback, but the screen goes black. This happens with video 1080 p and 4K video from a source that allows me to go full screen. This includes Windows Player, video YouTube on Chrome, video player GoPro, etc etc. As soon as you go full screen, the screen goes black but video continues to play (you can hear the sound track).

    Any advice? I need to change the setting?

    I had to turn off my chart of hd530. You will need to re-enable it when you use it as just a laptop. Are there drivers for AGA, maybe that would help. It's just *.

  • Full-screen video to Mobile site

    How to play a video on my site display mobile full game? Video hosted on Vimeo, is there a way to make a link to the video and it play full screen.

  • Bring item full screen after use of the 3D camera and changing point position/orientation

    Hello.  I am a new user of After Effects.

    After you apply the 3D camera and make adjustments and also make adjustments to a position of individual items and the orientation in 3D space.

    is there a way to get one full screen (and directly to the camera) once again, other than doing 'eye '?  Is there a feature or mathematics that will get the item mode full screen

    as if you do not apply 3D or or changes of position?

    Said another way, if I have several parts of the video on screen, turned them all 3D, changed that position and orientation, then applied a 3D camera and adjusted that

    so no items are full-screen one, then you want one of them to return to full screen mode, can add you values of parameters of the element and the camera may be a value

    which translates into a single element to a full screen/straight on angle (as if the 2D and not affected)?

    Thanks in advance for any direction.

    Hey brvid

    The easiest way is to:

    -Start with your image full screen

    -Click on the box for this layer 3D

    -Add a camera (which uses the current view for its zoom/position)

    -Add a null value, click on the 3D box so that the null value

    -parent the camera as NULL. That the null value has the same ISP values as image

    Now, you can duplicate this image and place around the scene in any position and rotation.

    - Then you can copy values ESP of other images as the key your null and the camera images will move to this image and it will be full screen

    Hope this helps,

    Steve

  • prices mp4 wemb of video files, that the TWO needed for a video work in the MUSE?

    prices mp4 wemb of video files, that the TWO needed for a video work in the MUSE?

    Hi TheArthur,

    Now a version more recent days of all browsers support format video mp4 but some older versions of browsers still need to format to play webm video.

    HTML5 video

    So if your analysis says that none of the visitors to your site use these older browsers, so you can skip webm file but where there are users of the site who use the old version of browsers that do not support mp4 then it is advisable to use webm and mp4 videos.

    It would be difficult, you need to customize it.
