Fuze and micro sd

Hi all

I have a sansa fuze for 1 year and a few days ago I decided to use a micro sd card to upgrade capacity.

My USB mode is MSC because my OS is ubuntu 8.04 and because it is easier to use...

When I plug my Fuze, I see 2 HDD: my rocket and my card, it's ok

I put some songs on Fuze and map, disconnected the mp3 player (the update of database is ok)

But when I look at the list of songs on the "rocket", there is only the songs I put on the "rocket", but none of the songs I put on the map.

I thought that my card was not recognized, but when I check in

Music > records

I see: internal and external memory uSD card, external uSD card is empty even I put something in

Is there something to do?

Folder to create on the map of the uSD?

Special format for uSD card?

Please, could you help?

Excuse for my English...

    I just had a rocket and would like to know if I need to load music on a micro SD card before I insert it in the drive, or I can download music on the card in the reader.  I'm not very savy MP3 and in simple terms any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    Either will work. Depends on what you are more comfortable.

  • Sansa fuze and preprogrammed sd card

    We bought only two players from sansa fuze and a couple of cards slotradio pre-programmed.  The cards work fine on a rocket, on the other hand that it says "media refresh" and radio slot icon never appears on the player.  I know that's not the card because she works on the other.  Any advice?  Thank you.

    Thank you!  Who did the trick!

  • Fuze and Rhapsody

    Hey, I ordered my rocket online and did not receive a CD that was supposed to come with her. My friend has a Sansa Fuze and it had an icon on the main menu that says Rhpasody To Go.

    1. What is Rhapsody To Go?

    2. How can I get Rhapsody To Go to my sansa fuze?

    The Rhapsody service is a great way to explore new music, without limitation to purchase individual albums.

    You don't need the mini-CD, simply try the trial version described here.  The Rhapsody client (the program that runs on your computer) has recently been amended and improved, getting with the new customer for sure.

    RealNetworks has chosen a name confusing for service 'portable', the titles that you can download to your Sansa.  It is the Rhapsody To Go service.  The unlimited service simply refers to unlimited access on your PC.  Note that a single account allows you to use three devices, which is very nice.  I have a wife and three daughters, so I have multiple accounts.  As fast as change their taste in music, I'm happy are exempt download fees.

  • Sansa fuze and extension of memory of 16 GB?

    Hi I have been checking out the site because my girlfriend bought me my rocket for Christmas.  After doing several searches, I see a lot of people have improved their fuze 8 GB and bought a 16 GB Micro-SDHC card.  My question is when I go to the sansa site, why they does not offer memory card 16 GB as a choice for expansion and only sell the 8 GB card?  I was intending to buy Sansa site just to make sure that I was getting what I really need, but they are not available.

    I found it online somewhere else, I think that that's what I need to increase my memory.  Can anyone confirm?  The SanDisk 16 GB Micro SD High Capacity (microSDHC) Flash memory card (packaging in bulk) for sale online for about $50, the only thing that holds back me to the top is the index of performance of speed.   She indicates that she has speed performance rating: class 2 (based on SD 2.00 average specification?)  I see the sansa accessory store are a 8 GB class 4?

    Should I pull the trigger?

    Thank you

    Pull it. 'Speed' doesn't mean much. I have the card you are watching. Works very well.

  • Spectrum x 2 and Micro SDXC

    Hello

    I recently bought a spectrum x 2 (product number: F7T43EA #ABU) and the manual says it has a Micro Sd slot but not will is compatible with Micro SD, Micro SDHD and or Micro SDXC.  I don't want to spend the money on a card that is not taken in charge, so which of these will it.  I really want a 64 GB SDXC card.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi David,

    If you have a Micro SD slot, it will support the Micro SD cards.

    Thank you

  • OverDrive Media Console - firmware update Fuze and can no longer download audio books

    My experience is that you can not set the clock manually.  While in line, plug the "rocket" and something of its meaning (any file random non - DRM) transfer using the * Windows Media Player *.  This seems to set the internal clock (but you must be * online * while do you - it updates the clock of the internet).

    I noticed the "rocket" is particularly sensitive to obtaining of the clock of discount for a reason any (for some reason my Clip has not been nearly as often, the clock reset the "rocket" has).  I have no "always - on" internet and I noticed pretty much everytime I open WMP with attached rocket & no internet connection, it resets the clock of the rocket, causing Overdrive "unit clock not set" message.  This is a big concern for me to get the clock reset (to find an internet connection).  What I think is happening: when you open WMP it seems looking for all connected devices, and set their internal clock at the time of the internet - and you're out of luck if you don't currently have an active internet connection (I think this is a bug in WMP, but I have not confirmed).  To make sure that I do not open with any attached Sansas WMP.  Never.  (Or more).  And the internal clock to my Fuze slept together for going on 6 months now. (It was previously reset every week or two.)

    My second thought (actually, probably the original problem) - firmware update resets a bunch of stuff to the default values.  The rocket USB mode was probably return the default (Auto-detect, not-so-affectionately nicknamed 'auto-defaut').  Go to settings | USB mode and set it back to the PSG so OverDrive can use it and then try again.

    Good luck.

  • Sansa Clip + and micro sdhc 4 GB class6

    I have a problem with my micro 4 GB class6 sdhc, I bought some time in October. I used as storage of mp3 to my cell phone.

    Since it is a basic phone what can I do to connect to the computer to drag and drop songs is via card reader, I later scanned to ensure that he is not infected with virus or anything if I know that my pc is clean.

    the scan do not always go through. 4% and more it stops and do not complete the scan.

    I go back to my computer and right-click on the icon of sdhc to check the properties. the computer can detect the sd card (because the icon is there), but it does not display the content and songs more. even the SD is not displayed. capacity of 0 KB.

    I don't know if it is a virus, or maybe the lock on the card adapter switch has something to do with. Maybe I dragged songs while the lock is activated.

    What could be the problem?...

    I did a format already, but in case where (just in case) the cause is a virus, or say that the map is broken it will affect my clip +?

    BTW, I did not insert the card to my clip + so far...

    Thank you very much in advance

    Sometimes, a mobile phone will do things to a map to interfere with the use of the drive.  A solution was to reformat the card in the phone and then try again (and I could reformat and then again to the reader).

  • Problems with Fuze + and new 32 GB Sandisk microSD card class 4. CAVEAT!

    I bought this card on Amazon.com and it was listed as a card MicroSDHC card SDSDQ - 032 G-A11M us retail package.

    This was announced as a class 2 card, but the card is labeled as a class 4 card and it's true that the write speed of this card on average 3.8 MB/sec.

    I have inserted in my rocket + and got the error that there is a file system error and to format the card in FAT32.  I formatted the card under Windows 7 times using a format formatting fast and Normal and tried to write on it and it works perfectly through the windows.

    I even did a full load test using H2Testw and he filled out the card and checked the files and it passes, so the map seems to work as expected.  In windows, in MSC mode, it works without problem.

    However, as soon as unplug you it from the computer the "rocket" does not recognize this.

    At first I thought that I had a card that is counterfeit, but doing some research forum revealed that Sandisk has been quietly replace existing map of class 2 with class 4 cards.  That's fine, but something happened because this card can not be read by the Fuze +.

    I have left a note with technical support and am about to do a live chat with the technicians there.  I hope they have a solution, or that the new firmware addresses this.

    This isn't a problem with the hardware or the card.  The card goes up and works perfectly under Windows so that inserted in the Fuze +, this seems to be a problem with the firmware as it will not mount this card.  I hope that Sandisk is a fix soon.  But for now I'm stuck.  I have a card that I can't come back because it is not bad for a player who did not recognize.

    Specifically, I bought the Sandisk card to go in my player Sansa because I thought they would have tested their own cards with their own products.  My disappointment is understandable.

    Any help anyone has would be great.

    Yes, they want to take a photo of the card and my phone is worse than mine.  I'll have to use camera for my daughter to get a good picture of the card.

    As I said, it seems that the map is read and write correctly.  I have same h2testw.exe rand on and filled the card and it passes.

    Weird stuff.

    Will be.

  • Sansa Fuze and Fedora 11 and Banshee (linux)

    OK I use Fedora 11, I loaded the Banshee on my system I can convert songs on my player. I can't convert videos on my player so I can watch videos and movies?  What can I use to coincide with the Sansa fuze using Fedora 11? or would that be a wrong format because fedora is ogg. the format? And which converter am I suppose to use to get my videos?

    A second solution for video conversion on any linux system is described in this thread. You can go directly to the "accepted solution". It is easy to set up and runs from the command line.

  • The weird sound quality with backlight Fuze and mp3 VBR

    Hello world

    I got my Sansa Fuze (firmware 01.01.11F) 2 weeks and I have noticed a weird problem:

    When I'm playing some VBR mp3 files, the duration is not displayed correctly. Files of start playing very well, but when the backlight of the screen gets off (settings I tried different time, show all the same problem), the sound quality deteriorates strongly. These are mp3 files that I ripped directly from audio CD, samples are available on request.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    Kind regards

    Soenke

    The question is under development.  Lower rate VBR can trigger the processor at a slower pace, the origin of the problem.  If the backlight is on, there is more work for her, and the rate increases.  The noise disappears.

    The decline in the rate increases the battery time.  This problem will be resolved in a future firmware version.

  • E280 and Micro SD cards

    I use first of all the MS Media Player to extract the music from the music CD I want to listen to my MP3 player, which is be an E280 and so far it's all gone on the internal memory.  Until now, until this point, I didn't what the acceptable size was for my player to card format Micro SD and I have now come to realize that it makes a difference on the firmware you have, well.  Now, I would like to know how, step by step to start to put the music files on cards Micro SD as opposed to memory internal please?  Thank you.

    Not knowing which version of the player, you have (v1 or v2), I'll tell you a procedure that works for both.

    Put your player in MSC mode (settings > USB Mode). Connect your player. Windows Explorer (sometimes called the workstation) should open (or at least ask to) a glazing to aid memory of your card in it. If you want to create a folder of MUSIC here, as on the internal memory, it's OK.

    Now open another Explorer with your MY MUSIC folder (on your computer) that it contains. Navigate to the folder of the artist, that you want to transfer; Click on & drag the other part with the MUSIC folder on your card and drop it right (release the mouse button) on the top of this file. Fact.

    Do foam, rinse & repeat.

    This (make drag & drop mode MSC) is the only way to add music to a card in a reader from v1, but you can 'sync' (if you must) to PSG and Windows Media Player with a v2 model. I find drag & drop just as easy (or easier) and no problem with WMP control.

  • 7 1800 HP Tablet: HP 1800 7 tablet and micro SD card

    When I insert my micro card (15 gb) sd of my cell phone in my hp 7 1800 Tablet it shows up under storage as being there, but I can't understand how to access my photos, videos, etc. can you help? Thank you

    What type of cell phone?  Is it Android?

    Way the easiest way is to install one of the many free file manager programs available in the game store.

    I like the one named "File Manager HD".  To play the videos, a large is called "MX Player".

    The apps work like Windows Explorer and allow you to view and open files of internal storage and external storage (SD card).

  • proofreading and micro bytearray mix

    Hello, I need your help

    I have a record demand for micro and I mix another sound of the song. For this step is ok I can record on my desk and the mix is good.

    But I like to listen to my mix of bytearray. And even then, I have a problem.

    The sound is very slow... and not even my file to save.

    My code:

    var epos: Number = 0

    ByteArray in which audio data is stored microphone

    var soundBytes:ByteArray = new ByteArray();

    Gets the default microphone

    var mic:Microphone = Microphone.getMicrophone ();

    Security.showSettings ("microphone");

    function init() {}

    Sets the minimum entry level that should be considered sound

    mic.setSilenceLevel (0);

    The amount by which the microphone amplifies the signal.

    MIC.gain = 50;

    The rate at which the microphone picks up sound, in kHz.

    MIC.rate = 44;

    }

    function called when you click on Start button Save

    function startRecord (): void

    {

    mic.addEventListener (SampleDataEvent.SAMPLE_DATA, micSampleDataHandler);

    }

    function called when you click stop record button

    function stopRecord (): void

    {

    mic.removeEventListener (SampleDataEvent.SAMPLE_DATA, micSampleDataHandler);

    }

    function micSampleDataHandler(event:SampleDataEvent):void

    {

    var temp: ByteArray = new ByteArray()

    var mdata:ByteArray = event.data

    var l:Number = mdata.bytesAvailable

    sound_kar. Extract (temp, l/4, EPOS);

    Temp.position = 0

    var b:Number = temp.bytesAvailable

    EPOS += l/4

    var s1, s2, s3:Number

    While (mdata.bytesAvailable)

    {

    S3 = mdata.readFloat ();

    S1 = 0

    S2 = 0

    If (temp.bytesAvailable > = 8) {}

    S1 = Temp.readFloat)

    S2 = Temp.readFloat)

    }

    mixTracks (s1, s2, s3);

    }

    }

    function mixTracks(l:Number,r:Number,m:Number):void

    {

    the function that mixes the audio microphone with background sound...

    var sampleT1_L:Number;

    var sampleT1_R:Number;

    var sampleT2:Number;

    var trackL:Number;

    var trackR:Number;

    sampleT1_L = l;

    sampleT1_R = r;

    sampleT2 = m;

    trackL = (sampleT1_L + sampleT2);

    trackR = (sampleT1_R + sampleT2);

    trackL = trackL > 1? 1:trackL;

    trackR = trackR > 1? 1:trackR;

    trackL trackL = <-1? -1:trackL;

    trackR trackR = <-1? -1:trackR;

    mixedTrack.writeFloat (trackL);

    mixedTrack.writeFloat (trackR);

    }

    Mixture of proofreading:

    mixedTrack.position = 0;

    soundPlay.addEventListener (SampleDataEvent.SAMPLE_DATA, playbackSampleHandler);

    channelPlay = soundPlay.play ();

    function playbackSampleHandler(event:SampleDataEvent):void

    {

    If (! mixedTrack.bytesAvailable > 0) //if end; return

    return;

    for (var i: int = 0; i < 8192 /(44/44); i ++) {}

    Sample number: var = 0;

    If (mixedTrack.bytesAvailable > 0)

    example = mixedTrack.readFloat ();

    write the sample, that is, play

    for (var j: int = 0; j < int ((44.0/44) * 2); j ++) {//4 to 22 kHz? for 8 khz}

    event.data.writeFloat (sample);

    }

    }

    }

    Can you help me to re-read my mixture in bytearray?

    Thank you very much

    Oeann

    OK, I found my problem and is ok... If this can help you:

    function playbackSampleHandler(event:SampleDataEvent):void

    {

    for (var i: int = 0; i < 8192="" &&="" mixedtrack.bytesavailable=""> 0; i ++)

    {

    mixedTrack.position = int (position) * 8;

    position += 1;

    Sample number: var = mixedTrack.readFloat ();

    event.data.writeFloat (sample);

    event.data.writeFloat (sample);

    }

    }

    No worries... I don't want others to think we support such a new standard... Maybe the Z2 will give us a slot unified with support for this speed.

    Thanks for the SCSI part - it is interesting and makes sense since the storage supports increasing and parallel access.
