Sansa fuze and extension of memory of 16 GB?

Hi I have been checking out the site because my girlfriend bought me my rocket for Christmas.  After doing several searches, I see a lot of people have improved their fuze 8 GB and bought a 16 GB Micro-SDHC card.  My question is when I go to the sansa site, why they does not offer memory card 16 GB as a choice for expansion and only sell the 8 GB card?  I was intending to buy Sansa site just to make sure that I was getting what I really need, but they are not available.

I found it online somewhere else, I think that that's what I need to increase my memory.  Can anyone confirm?  The SanDisk 16 GB Micro SD High Capacity (microSDHC) Flash memory card (packaging in bulk) for sale online for about $50, the only thing that holds back me to the top is the index of performance of speed.   She indicates that she has speed performance rating: class 2 (based on SD 2.00 average specification?)  I see the sansa accessory store are a 8 GB class 4?

Should I pull the trigger?

Thank you

Pull it. 'Speed' doesn't mean much. I have the card you are watching. Works very well.

  • Sansa fuze and preprogrammed sd card

We bought only two players from sansa fuze and a couple of cards slotradio pre-programmed.  The cards work fine on a rocket, on the other hand that it says "media refresh" and radio slot icon never appears on the player.  I know that's not the card because she works on the other.  Any advice?  Thank you.

  • Sansa Fuze and Fedora 11 and Banshee (linux)

OK I use Fedora 11, I loaded the Banshee on my system I can convert songs on my player. I can't convert videos on my player so I can watch videos and movies?  What can I use to coincide with the Sansa fuze using Fedora 11? or would that be a wrong format because fedora is ogg. the format? And which converter am I suppose to use to get my videos?

A second solution for video conversion on any linux system is described in this thread. You can go directly to the "accepted solution". It is easy to set up and runs from the command line.

  • Sansa Fuze and Ford Sync

I recently bought a Ford Focus and was happy to learn that it can interface with my rocket.  It all works, I experienced some problems.  When you leave the car if I don't physically disconnect the "rocket" by the USB port, it will make the "rocket" lock the offline message or a blank screen.  He'll keep hanging like that until what force you a shutdown by pressing the power switch for 10 seconds upward.

Everyone knows that and if so did you find workarounds?

It works fine if I stopped it manually.  Just unplug it to do this.

On the plus side, I figured out how to solve the problem.  Disable the auto detect for USB mode.  Once you set using the mode MTP problem disappears.  The player then turns off when the car is off and turns on when the car lights and save where you have stopped listening.  This is a great system bit, I enjoy to listen to my audio books so that I'm behind the wheel.

Thank you all for your messages.

  • Impossible to copy files to the Sansa Fuze using Windows 7 (drag and drop, or Windows Media Player)

    Hello

Yesterday, I bought the Sansa Fuze and I have problems copying files to the device using either Windows Media Player (Sync) or Drag and Drop (Explorer).

    The symptoms are:

    (1) the device is recognized and available in Windows 7 (Series USB MSC - sorry don't have it with me right now)

    (2) took me to upgrade to the latest firmware, which has worked flawlessly

    (3) when I try to drag and drop a file on the device (I use Windows 7, 64-bit), it starts, but doesn't seem to calculate the size of the files or waiting time to download correctly.  It is followed by a slow progressive, until the computer crashes, resulting in a constant 100% of the CPU.  The only solution is a hard reboot

    (4) when you use Windows WM, the device is recognized, okay and the synchronization starts, but it then stops without reason.  Once again, the processor springs and requires a reboot

    (5) using the results 3 and 4 in 1-5 files being copied across, but not more.

    (6) I tried several albums and one album at a time, but cannot determine if that makes a difference.

    Help, please!

    See you soon,.

    Richard

It may be a bug in Windows 7. But one thing to try is to go to the Device Manager (assuming that Windows 7 still has), uninstall the "rocket" (under USB controllers), and then run add hardware to find and reinstall the driver.

Use the MTP with Windows Media Player mode, MSC mode without.

  • Error occurred during the installation of the device, a service in the INF installation section is not valid with Sansa Fuze player

Media player 11 fails to connect to my sansa fuze player. A second computer find the fuse in sansa without problem. Default media player 11 , I get the following message: error occurred during the instalation of the device, an installtion of service section in the INF is invalid.  I have two players from sansa and both not on this media 11 computer system, but both work on a second computer with media player 9 ? Is the problem, a bad installation of the media 11 on the first computer system, should remove and reinstall media 11 If I delete what is happening in the music on this computer file. Carl L_942

    Hi, Carl L_942,.

Connect the Sansa Fuze and put into MSC mode. This enabled the majority of users with this problem. Check if it helps you too.

    For more information, see:

Activation or forcing MSC mode on the Sansa player

    Additional reference on:

Check and change the device to the master or the MTP USB mode

The only problem with Media Player 11 and Sansa device is the synchronization of album art to the device.

  • Song Sansa Fuze Max file size?

Hi I have a sansa fuze and tried to play a very long piece of music (mix) as a song, but when I try to play the "rocket" plant - gray screen.

Is there a maximum file size for the songs on the "rocket" or something?

    Thank you very much

    Thanks for your help.

I'll look into it, but clearly it's hogwash f I need some sort of 3rd party software and edit the files just to play an mp3 on an mp3 player! Not to buy another player from sandisk. Too bad, I did not read these issues before leaving with my money.

  • Sansa Fuze not set option

I spent my sansa fuze and realized that the setting on the homescreen option wasn't there. I tried to reset by holding down the power button for 15 seconds and it always comes out the same, I don't think it's resseting anything. Is there any solution for this?

I think stores have a "demo Mode" which prevents clients from mess up the settings. Try to reload the firmware manually, the regions all the link to the thread to the top of the page.

  • Fuze and Rhapsody

Hey, I ordered my rocket online and did not receive a CD that was supposed to come with her. My friend has a Sansa Fuze and it had an icon on the main menu that says Rhpasody To Go.

    1. What is Rhapsody To Go?

    2. How can I get Rhapsody To Go to my sansa fuze?

The Rhapsody service is a great way to explore new music, without limitation to purchase individual albums.

You don't need the mini-CD, simply try the trial version described here.  The Rhapsody client (the program that runs on your computer) has recently been amended and improved, getting with the new customer for sure.

RealNetworks has chosen a name confusing for service 'portable', the titles that you can download to your Sansa.  It is the Rhapsody To Go service.  The unlimited service simply refers to unlimited access on your PC.  Note that a single account allows you to use three devices, which is very nice.  I have a wife and three daughters, so I have multiple accounts.  As fast as change their taste in music, I'm happy are exempt download fees.

  • Sansa Fuze attached to my docking station

    Hello

Initially, I got an iPod touch and he hated. (Due to the process running in the background kills the battery time more so than if I was listening to just mp3s.)

So I just bought a Sansa Fuze for a realitively cheap off a merchant online and I expect to soon.

    My question is...

I have an iPod dock which is also a radio and it has the iPod base and the setting of the radio, but also has a cable to THE outputs.

I was wondering if I made a playlist on the Sansa fuze and attached the Sansa Fuze to the iPod via the port dock to THE and kept the playlist on the shuffle affecting all night and when the alarm turns on the time I put to him, I have here would be the songs through the reading list since technically the speakers had to be activated so?

I let just the sansa fuze on the wall charger, I also bought.

I think it would work, what do you think?

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Will this work with Sansa Fuze?

I just received an FYI Emerson iC2196 CD Clock Radio with docking station for iPod - as a gift.

I have a Sansa Fuze and this was bought to me because it says no entry to connect iPod and other Mp3 players...

It seems that the "rocket" will link- but I don't want to break anything!

OK - I'm writing this, I went to this Web page:

    http://www.target.com/Emerson-iPod-alarm-clock-radio/DP/B0013AG3DY

I see that it says that it has a line-in for MP3 players - so I guess that means that the dock works only for the iPod - Yes?

Is there a unit similar to this - CD clock (with or without radio) will be also dockable and play the Sansa Fuze.

I'm not very technical on this stuff - so any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Ellie

NEVER plug a Sansa into an iPod dock connector. They may look alike, but they are wired differently. Chances are good that you will FRY your Sansa. If it says "works with other MP3 players", which means that it works by connecting via the headphone jack of your MP3 player, and not the dock connector.

There is a Timex clock radio that has a dock from Sansa. Search for "sansa clock radio timex" on Amazon or similar sites and you should find it easily enough.

  • Sansa Fuze 8 GB and memory

I just bought a Sansa fuze 8GB and need to know what capacity micro SD card, I can use. I said that if it's a 2GB, I can only add a 2GB card and a 4 GB, 4 GB card and so on.  If this true?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Not true. Any microSDHC will work.  8, 16, 32 same.

When there are newer adapters cards, those who do not work.

  • New and strange problem with Rhapsody to go on my Sansa Fuze

Have a Fuze with 8GB micro SD 8 GB card inside and use for a long time without any problem with Rhapsody. Recently, I had not synchronized for a long time and got the message to play the tracks of my subscription, I need to sync with Rhapsody. So I don't tell me, no problem, and I do. The synchronization works very well and I get the message Rhapsody, it's reading the tracks on my Sansa and I get the message that it updates the internal memory on my Sansa. Then everything is finished and when I click on the internal or external memory, Rhapsody, I get the message that all is well and she sees all my Sansa great Flickr photos. I even put a couple of new albums of Rhapsody on the SD card in my Sansa. Once again, no problem.

BUT when I disconnect the Sansa (again once, normal behavior with the green bar on the Sansa screen and the message it refreshes my media), he always says I have to synchronize to play the tracks on my subscription.

Have tried resetting the sansa, tried the sansa when logged in to rhapsody, but nothing seems to solve this problem of license. How can I fix?   Thanks a lot for your help

Ah, I leave you with the secret handshake to reset the secure clock.  Normally, this is done in this last step, when you transfer a track to the device.

Open the client Rhapsody 4 and plug your rocket.

Now for the tricky part.  Crack the knuckles and fingers ready.  Press and hold the [CTRL] + [SHIFT], then right-click on the "rocket" in the Sources pane.

There you go.  Select Reset secure clock.

See if the device is now happy.

If all else fails, use the Format command on the "rocket", which will erase all media device, and then start over by allowing first and transfer some test tracks.

My theory is that something is wrong with your secure clock...  Let me know how it goes!

  • SANSA FUZE stucks to the first screen and nothing happens

My sansa fuze aprox 2 years. It was incredible in the first year that someday when I connect it to my pc it stuck to the logon screen but you screen looks like weard colors not correct letters sansa and low resolution. I tried all the instructions but its not responding do not at all. I downloaded the recovery tool, but because of sansa works not at all my pc could not recognize it.  know that I don't know what to do I'm living in Turkey and a friend of mine reminded my sansa in chicago. I bouth an I phone 3G and I am happy with my MP3 in there but I want to give my sansa to my mother to allow him to listen to the music. but as I told you its does not work at all!

Help me please, or tell me that you're not good enough to produce a good player.

don't missunderstand me I like sansa memories, they are THE BEST!  but not all companies can produce good mp3 and video players. I can understand if SANDISK is only a producer of memory company!

Thank you Bob for your time

Unfortunately still I coulndt see any connection after I hold this button Center of 5 minutes.

because there was no link I coulndt try the next step. I offered to send my sansa player to the factory. now I'm wating ansver I will donate my reader to the company to help and protect their customers from this issue.

I think that there is no solution for me here...

  • Sansa Fuze 4 G v.2.02.28a wrong with gel, formatted and reinstalled the firmware

My sansa fuze has been freezing since update firmware a couple of months.  Sometimes he would set himself, when I rebooted, but it gets progressively worse.

Today it froze to the homescreen as usual, but I could not turn on after I restarted several times, after many trials, I could connect to my pc without the "rocket" freezing at the login screen. I decided to format it through my pc and I also reformatted it on the player as well. I have not reformatted it since adapting if I was trying to avoid having my deleted files. Meanwhile, I looked in the forums to apply solutions that have worked for others in the same situation.

Here are some of my problems I think to make this kind of odd. Windows tells me is no longer a memory, internal and external, it reads the interns as F: drive and the external slot as drive G:

Also, I have a napster to Go account that I use for a year now synchronized with this player and he wrote the unit (the "rocket") is not compatible, and I tried the update of napster to see if that was the problem, but napster has been giving me trouble since the new update with the firmware of the rocket. However, now I am not able to re - download my music files without paying the full price for one without a subscription.

I think that the problem comes from the "rocket" as opposed to my napster account. Any information on this would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried switching USB (Settings/System Settings/USB Mode) mode to PSG?

If not, why not roll back manually. Just unzip the firmware.26 and drop the .bin file in the drive of the rocket.
