G6 2221 ev Pavilion: Pavilion low g6 of the case

My bottom of the case was broken where the hinge of the screen is in. Please note that this problem has been reported on several occasions. I am an electrical engineer and I want to replace my own. I find these cases for the g6 2000 and 2100 series and want to know if it fits on my model of 2221ev g6.

Today, I bought a HP PAVILION 22FI. I noticed by chance, after an hour of use, only the lower middle and the right side of the screen was really hot. Surprisingly, the lower left of the screen was not hot at all and so was half top of the screen. Is this normal?

I also found the adapter monitor provided across was not that of HP. It says LITEON. This could be a problem?

    Hello

The CPU will be fine as it is on the lower side of the motherboard. There is more compatible motherboards for the laptop. I suggest to consider an upgrade because you have to disassemble everything laptop anyway. The motherboard is probably for that dual-core (i3/i5) computer laptop and some dual core i7 chips.

Is the part number for the original motherboard: 641485-001
It is possible to improve this laptop with an i7 processor with dedicated graphics ATI Radeon HD6770M 2 GB RAM video card. However, it requires a different heatsink. Board reference number: 650799-001 and the heatsink: 650797-001.

  • Pavilion series P6000: Configure the new HARD drive.

I install a new Seagate 1 TB HARD drive in a Pavilion P6620F.  What I need to clone new HARD drive or just run the recovery discs?

It all depends of what your intentions are.

You are replacing the original disk or adding storage space?

The simplest method would be to clone the current to the new hard drive, when you replace the original hard drive. Install the drive cloned in the same place where the Moose an and with the same connectors.  Start the PC and everything should be STATED as it was before, except that it will be on a new hard drive.

If you add a drive for extra storage of storage, it is simply a matter of conecting a sata conector between unused hard drive and a sata header and connect a power connector from the hard drive.

Once it is done, turn on the PC and log in to Windows.

Use Windows Explorer to create up to four partitions and then format the partitions.  I am unware of how space exists in the case ATX mid for additional disks.

  • Adding a third drive for HP pavilion e9280t by using the expansion Bay

I would like to add a third sata drive in my Hp Pavilion e9280t, model # AW020AV #ABA for backups using the expansion Bay. However, I have opinions that I need a case of HW for the reader so that it will slide into the expansion Bay housing.

What I need to know, is the document number in the case of HW and the scheme of distribution of the parts for my computer to confirm the part without condition.

    Kind regards

    Daryl Jones

    Hi Daryl,

Bay expansion is actually a 5.25 "which is usually used for an additional optical drive.  However, you can use this Bay for one SSD or an additional hard drive using a 5.25 "to 3.5" adapter Bay or a 5.25 "to 2.5" Bay adapter.

The e9280t of the firm also has berries to drive HP Pocket Media and personal media drive both of which as pluggable and portable USB hard drives.  These readers are hard to find at reasonable prices.  You might find them on eBay

  • How to open the case of my Pavilion safely to clean inside?

I have a Vista laptop computer model pavilion dv7/1130ae or 1130ea I want to open the case and clean the fan because ha strenge like a voice engine, so I need a video or a picture to show me how I can open and clean safely.

Not really a WIndows Vista * software * question - more than one * must read your manual * question, huh?

Frankly - buy some air canned, turn off the laptop, blow air in all the vents, you can find all possible directions.  In your case, I just think that this a more sensible choice.

  • HP pavilion dv6-6198sp: using the right charger for hp dv6? 90 or 120 w? Which one? Help!

Hi guys, currently im using a charger for my hp dv6-6153sa, but I need to cut this short story, so you'll understand.

First, I changed the motherboard in this laptop, the motherboard is the HP pavilion dv6-6198sp however, the battery is a HP dv6-6b60sa.

    The charger I use is a HP dv6-6153sa, which is a 90w charger. 19V 4. 74A

So am I right in thinking I would be better off using a 120 Watt charger?

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you

The specifications I've seen shows that a 120 Watt power adapter is required for both. So yes, you must use a power adapter 120 Watt.

I have a HP Pavilion Elite m9280f PC, S # [personal information deleted], Windows Vista 64-Bit. I replaced the case for a larger, having connection problems. Lost manual, downloaded manuals, I can not find a diagram of the wires hanging in the motherboard. Help please Tom

    Tomahawk, welcome to the forum.

This is the page for Specifications of the motherboard of the computer.  You should be able to enlarge the diagram of the motherboard to locate most of the connections.  The only place you may have a problem is with the power button connector.  Some cases are not compatible with HP moterboards.

Please let us know if this solved your problem or not.
