G6 2313ax in Device Manager displays 7660 G + 7660 M instead of 7660 G + 7670 M

Hello

I just bought my hp pavilion g6 flipkart.com 2313ax

I installed win 7 64 bit and installed all the drivers.

now in the Device Manager in the Graphics tab it shows as follows

Adepters display:

AMD Radeon HD 7600M series

Card Dual AMD Radeon HD graphic 7660 + 7600 M

but it should be 7670M instead of 7600 M as announced by flipkart.com and also in the hp Web site features

any body having the same thing?

is this because I use windows 7 and not windows 8 as recommendaed by hp?

If his driver problem can any guide me how to fix this?

and if indeed, my dealer scam me, I just need confirmation before I chew the Parry of flipkart.com representative.

Hello:

I don't know how experienced you are with regard to the search for W7 drivers for your laptop.

It is quite easy if you know where to look.

You must first install the amd chipset driver and restart. The first file listed.

http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/raid_windows.aspx#2

Then, all the W7 x 64 drivers of this Associates model should also work on your.

If you have installed this driver and Device Manager reports

AMD Radeon HD 7600M series

Card Dual AMD Radeon HD graphics 7600 + 7600 M

So it is what it is.  The video does not work correctly.

DO NOT USE THE BIOS FILES

http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=5275620&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=5262610&swLang=13&TaskID=135&swEnvOID=4063#11360

As you can see on the notes of the graphics driver, it's the right driver for the graphics card in your laptop.

  • Unable to set the display resolution, Intel HD 4600 in Device Manager displays ' generic non-pnp monitor low resolution.

I am slot as Windows 7 Pro on a Dell Intel 64 bit pc with a screen HD Dell I5 and Intel HD graphics 4600 driver.  PC woke up a few hours of inactivity, after no updates known to windows or other programs, with icons and pages double size beyond the limits of the monitor, setting the low resolution and Device Manager showing ' no generic pnp monitor low resolution ' instead of 'Monitor Dell HD' and no option to increase the resolution.  No help with reset, not restoration, disconnection and reconnection monitor auto plug n Play, 'Search new device', 'add a device', update of the graphics driver, reinstall the drivers from the Dell monitor.  Troubleshooting peripheral reported to date and working correctly.  After I finally uninstalled driver restarted, and graphic displays "default monitor" Device Manager (no longer "generic low resolution"), no graphics driver identified, but don't allow me to change to a higher resolution.  New windows had to be individually size / expanded to fill the screen.  This can be corrected?  I want to optimize my display settings for this monitor.  I have reinstall my graphics driver or just be happy that I can use my computer?  Thank you.

Call Dell.  Your monitor should have a 3-year warranty.  Your matching OptiPlex with a warranty of one year more.

Also, check all the hidden and invisible buttons on the monitor.  Someone may have inadvertently changed one of these.

    Hi all

I have just rebuilt windows THAN XP on my Satellite Pro M50 and everything seems fine, except that before I reinstalled XP my device manager showed all my 1 025 Meg of memory.

Now, it shows only 768 Meg. However, Information System shows all Meg 1 025. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Phil

    Hello

I suppose that the memory was not upgraded. That I myself remember portable Pro M50 shipped with 256 MB + 512 MB modules.
That is why I see problems with memory. It should show 768 MB.

Hoe did you check the value of the memory in the system information?

  • Satellite P30 - error code 43 on the graphics card in Device Manager

Windows Vista Professional Edition loaded as my new OS for the studies and course work. Now my display driver no longer works correctly.

Device Manager displays the following message on the graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon 9600/9700: 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

Have search everywhere on the web for solutions but limited knowledge prevents me to get a positive result. There must be someone out there who can help...

    Hi BigPappaDom,

In my opinion to get rid of this, you need to reinstall the display driver. I have checked the site of Toshiba Satellite P30 is no Vista driver available. This means that you must find yourself to get all the drivers. :(

I searched a bit and you should try to install the Satellite P200D display driver. She also equipped graphics card ATI and this driver must be compatible with your other oldest:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

  • Device Manager see the some articles several times

Device Manager displays multiple instances of the same device.  This is supposed to happen, and if they are unique, how can I say to the other?   Here is a list of some of the features that appear more than once in the Device Manager

Thanks for any idea that you can offer,

    Hi danno2cu2,

    · Do you remember any changes made on your computer before the show?

    · What is the devices that are listed in several instances of work?

    · Are there error codes listed in the Device Manager?

This can be a reason of the ghost devices that were previously installed and that can be displayed or also if the installation of the device has failed previously.

You can have a look on the links of shot.

  • T500: ATI GPU has disappeared from the Device Manager!

Hello! I've recently updated my T500 and realized that my ATI GPU has disappeared from my list of display adapter in Device Manager and my system tray. Instead the intel GMA appears. I downloaded the switchable graphics driver on the Lenovo site and ran the ATI configuration all found in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\VIDEO, but he did nothing to solve this problem. I am running Windows Vista x 64. I hope someone here can help me with this problem.

    Thank you!

It is CORRECTED! After much head shining all day I finally found my own solution to my problem. Installed an ATI driver updated the using the Mobility Modder with permission from people to kind to Driver Heaven! Reinstalled the switchable graphics driver of Lenovo, now my machine seems to work better now before the problem occurred. In fact, click on the switchable graphics option that wasn't available on my right (and I had not noticed either) is now available and ready! A whole day trying to figure this out finally paid off! My problem is solved by me!

  • How to upgrade all of the drivers in question mark Device Manager?

    Hi all

I have a Dell R730 and I need the image of the old server to Windows server and restore it in the R730. So, once its completed, Device Manager displays a lot of pilots in question mark.

Is there a tool I can update the drivers?

    Thank you very much!

    Urbansaint,

The tool you need is called the Dell Server Update Utility (SUU), is run from the operating system and updates the entire server. You can find the download here.

Now on a side note, we do not support or even really recommend using imaging between 2 servers. This is due to the fact that when wearing on the new MAC Imaging server and system of the original system state data transfer on. This can cause instability of the system, this is why it is not recommended.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Qosmio F50 - 126 - Nvidia card is not displayed in Device Manager

So, I have recently installed Windows 8.1 and fully updated. But no matter how many times I uninstall "Microsoft base Display Adapter", windows is not DETECTING my card to install the appropriate driver.

Back in the day when I installed first windows 8, the card was detected and automatically installed Nvidia drivers update but not this time.

Anyone know how I can get the map is displayed in Device Manager?

Can you please tell us what model of laptop do you have?
Have you installed Win8.1 update or the clean version of the OS?

    Hi Bandjo,

    ·         Device Manager is empty?

    ·         You have made any changes recently?

    ·         You have installed Windows XP Service Pack 3?

Check to see if this article helps you.

None of the items appear in the device list manager when you open

  • Device Manager page can not be displayed.

I'm not able to see the devices and the page can not be displayed in the Device Manager.

This is the error message you get:

MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc.

It is perhaps because the file does not exist, is not the MMC, or was created by a later version of MMC. Perhaps it is also because you don't have sufficient access to the file.

  • HP DV7-6052ea: display incorrect CPU Device Manager?

Hi, I noticed today that the Device Manager indicates a different CPU than my laptop in the section "system devices".

    My laptop is a HP DV7-6052ea with I7-2630QM (Socket 988 b)

Manager device displays the correct details under "Processor", announces the I7-2630QM (8 times).

Under "System devices", it has this line:

Xeon E3-1200/2nd generation Intel Core Processor Family PCI Express Root Port - 0101

I can't see all the details for the 2630QM under "system devices".

    Device Manager indicates that all drivers are up to date;

    I7-2630QM - 6.1.7600.16385 21/06/2006

    Xeon E3-1200 - 9.2.0.1026 10/03/2011

CPU - Z shows correctly 2630QM I-7 and I have not noticed problems with my system (apart from a few songs to jump a bit) so it's something that is likely to cause problems or OK?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thank you

Device Manager showing 8 instances of the process indicates that the system recognizes the 8 cores of CPU and all work correctly.

System devices is a generic article of all the components of the motherboard and shows high level last name only. It creates no problems.

  • Device Manager does not display c or D drive.

The Windows Device Manager does not display the drives c or d.  With File Explorer, they show and are easily accessible.  What's wrong?

    Hi Alberini,

You would actually use the Device Manager to determine which devices are installed on your computer, update driver software for your devices, check to see if hardware is working properly and change the hardware settings. You can also use Device Manager to update a driver that does not work properly or restore a driver with its previous version.

To view the files or the drive hard internal to your computer, would use you Windows Explorer.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi the wings.

While in the Device Manager, you can click on the view tab, click Show hidden devices.

You can then uninstall all instances of the device in Device Manager and restart the computer.
