Device Manager page can not be displayed.
I'm not able to see the devices and the page can not be displayed in the Device Manager.
This is the error message you get:
MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc.
It is perhaps because the file does not exist, is not the MMC, or was created by a later version of MMC. Perhaps it is also because you don't have sufficient access to the file.
If so, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914231

The Page Can not be displayed error on most Web sites
Recently I had problems with my web browser (Internet Explorer 10) in which it does not have most of the sites. It can make google.co.uk but not google.com. This also happens when I try in Google Chrome, I get this error:
"We are unable to display this Web page because it took too long to respond."
Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
I don't think that it's to do with the router that I can use another device to connect to it and it works wireless, too. I forgot to mention that there is a wireless network connection.
I also ran network troubleshooting and it mentions the network cable may be broken and damaged. I tried to change my DNS settings, but the problem persists!
Could you please help me solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
Furthermore, I use Windows 8 x 64 bit.

Whenever I start my computer, my internal card reader must be disabled and then enabled in before Device Manager it will not work properly. I put an SD card in there and auto does not work. I check my computer and it shows that it is there, but when I double click on it to open it I get a message saying: Please insert the SD card. When I go to Device Manager and disable and enable fine orks. I tried different cards, but it makes no difference.
I installed a different card reader, but another did the same thing. This leads me to think it's a matter of Windows.
I tried to do a repair install, but it ends and said that the upgrade has failed?
Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem.I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. It is a Renesas controller and I use the 2.1.28.0 with firmware driver 4015.
I'm not sure but I may have found the problem. I see where a guy here was having a similar problem and it was caused by Acronis. I recently installed Acronis 2012. I have been lucky to uninstall, but I will update this post when I do. He was also running windows 7-64 bit on a motherboard ASUS!
Acronis was the problem. I uninstalled Acronis and now my card reader works as it should. Strange!

Hello
Satellite P300D-20U belongs to the PSPDCE series and I think that it was equipped with the chip graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 (M82XT).
Did you choose this series in the form of European driver of Toshiba?
I see the Display Driver for Win XP v 8.477.
If you can not install using the setup.exe, then you should try to install this driver in Device Manager.
Mark (possibly marked with yellow exclamation) graphics card then choose put up-to-date driver, use the Advanced installation procedure, point to the driver files downloaded from the Toshiba page and apply. It should work

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

My Device Manager does not display anything more after that I installed Advance system care 9 and my C-media sound does not work in the well. I am running Windows 7 essential and I checked on the net. for updates to day, but nothing is working. Can anyone help?
You don't need Advance care system 9 because it can cause unwanted problems and minimal benefits. I would like to delete it.
Select the hotkey Windows key + R, type Appwiz.cpl and press ENTER . Place the cursor on Advance care system 9, right click and select Uninstall from the menu drop down. Restart your computer.

home page will not be displayed
I downloaded firefox 12 now, it will not be displayed when I try to open that a page with lots of info but no home page
One possible cause is security software (firewall, antivirus) that prevents or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Hello!
I just bought a laptop Tecra S3 from ebay.
I turned it on a TI said "NTLDR is missing". Good I thing the guy who sold it has erased its data from the hard drive, no problem I'll install a new Windows XP.
But... now the problem.
When the laptop iss merchandising, I hold down the 'ESC' key, then press 'F1' for the BIOS.
Everything is fine.
But I can not go on the Page 2 of the BIOS. PGUP/PGDOWN has failed. I also tried with an external keyboard.
I read that the manual (PDF) that says "Hit F12 to go to the Bootdevice selection."
But that din't work.
At the start of the laptop it does show that for a second half the Toshiba screen, even when I hit F12.What can I do to make the laptop CD/DVD boot? Or how can I enter the bootscreen or BIOS Page 2?
Greetings from the Germany,
HolgerStart your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu.
Has chosen the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.Optical drive will serve as first boot device.
You can also try with the C key.
Place the bootable disk in the disk drive, start your laptop and press the C key several times. This will force it's STRANGE to be the first boot device.
