G6-d71nr notebook pc Pavilion: Cyberlink Youcam missing

I went to a meeting of the Conference using Teamviewer and found that I ended the meeting, my Cyberlink YouCam does not work on my computer even theough it is still listed on my hard drive.  Please tell me how to solve this problem and what has gone wrong.

Thank you.

Dorothy (personal information by moderator)

In fact, before I got your answer, I tried searching all over my computer hardware on what happened.  But he showed that the webcam is still there, it did not work after that I entered the Conference of Teamviewer.  In the end, after 2 hours, I did a reboot of my computer and she came back.  Thanks be to God.

Thank you for your response.  I'll use it to solve other problems with Webcam in the future.

Kind regards

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-199sa: the Cyberlink YouCam software update is ' hang "

    Hello

Today, HP has automatically downloaded and installed Cyberlink MediaSuite10-desktop on my laptop and everything went without a hitch.

It then downloaded immediastey software Cyberlink YouCam OK, but the 'installation' seems to have hung during the last 40 minutes or so.

In Task Manager, a process of 'Windows Modules Installer function' alternates between enough intense activity of the CPU and the disk activity.

I'll give him a little longer, but is it possible to interrupt this installation apparently failed without causing problems? If so, how can I go to try reinstalling software Cyberlink YouCam - or the software HP tries again to itys own agreement?

I had only the laptop a few weeks and that you don't know much anything.

    John latter

    The second installation went well.

This time, I watched what was going on:

When the download is complete, the actual attempt the installation was indicated by two gear wheels spinning - something I missed the first time I thought that the icon has failed (a cross instead of the green checkmark) meant that the program had hung.

Basically, I panicked for nothing - Oops!

  • CyberLink YouCam not working not not on Pavilion dv7t Quad

Type of laptop: HP Pavilion dv7t - b 6, 00 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook PC

I don't understand how to work the webcam on my laptop. The lens of the webcam has "HP TruVision HD" written underneath, but good me if I'm wrong, I think that it requires the-"CyberLink Youcam" software third for access.

Months ago, it has stopped working. Frustration, I deleted each point of access to the software, except for the uninstall "programs and features".

I'm wrong, or what I need to buy new software from CyberLink to use my WEBCAM IN seriously BUILT?

I have spoken with a HP support technician, he said, "it might be the problem with the connector between the webcam and the motherboard. If so, the motherboard will be replaced. »

It seems that I have to wait as I have time I'm not so dependent on my laptop to send in repairs. Thank you very much for the help!

  • Webcam on pavilion dv6 not detected and does not load when Cyberlink YouCam opens

I have a built-in webcam and my HP Pavilion dv6 will now display this message with a yellow triangle "no webcam installed".  How can I fix it?  My HP Pavilion really begins to fail.  CyberLink won't let me update software, because he claims that I don't have the full version. Doesn't have installed HP full version with my laptop?

After talking three times to Support HP technicians, I called a neighbor who has much better solutions. HP had me make a recovery (which ended up being useless and superfluous) and then when they could think of no more options, they said, should I back up all my data and do a full system restore. DO NOT TAKE this action until you have tried the following (my neighbor suggested some better options, including this site), but read the next paragraph to see what I ended up doing this WORK!

    solutions

After reading through the solutions and try a few other webcam software products, my neighbor suggested I uninstall the webcam using the Device Manager screen. Once you uninstall (say Yes if he asks you again if you want to uninstall the webcam material) then turn off your computer.  Wait a bit, turn it on, let warm up again, then look in the Device Manager, devices, imaging and your webcam should be re-discovered by your laptop. Once he reappears (mine did), analyzes material changes and run the driver updates (I don't remember what order I have them, but I have them).  After that, I reinstalled Cyberlink YouCam and POOF, everything worked fine! Skype was the video once again and everyone's happy.

No need to do a system restore or send the laptop to HP.  I only wish that HP has been able to tell me about this fix...

  • CyberLink YouCam does not support this resolution under your current settings

Original title: CyberLink YouCam is a piece of JUNK! Someone help!

I tried to ask this question and an answer, I had not helped. The first thing that happened was: I am trying to run YouCam on one of my friends computer. It worked before, I have no idea what they were doing to what I wasn't here. The error is said when I try to open it is "Cyberlink YouCam does not support this resolution under your current settings." I tried to change the resolution in the option customize when I right-click. There are currently on the highest resolution. I tried to lower the resolution a bit, but the same error message appears. When I troubleshoot the program, it doesn't tell me how to solve this problem. When I run the troubleshooting and I click on 'Try recommended settings', it is said that the sound running Windows XP service pack 2, but the sticker on the computer Windows 7. Its a HP computer. When I run the diagnostic tests in troubleshooting, error, said YouCam program isn't an option to select. I tried updates installed in the program and that did not work. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, and that didn't work. I have re-uploaded CyberLink YouCam 3.5 on the site and it does not work. The new error that appears is "Cyberlink Youcam do not support a screen resolution less than 640 x 490 with 96 DPI". The resolution of the screen is 1366 x 678 (recommended setting). In addition, when I put the program in safe mode, the program will start, BUT an error pops up saying that it can not locate the device. What the * happens, have worked on this for 2 weeks and nothing works.

  • CyberLink youcam is blury and blurred

Why is my cyberlink youcam went blury and blurry all of a sudden? Skype is also like that.

How can I solve this problem?

Hello rashel96. I understand that the webcam seems to be blurry all of a sudden. This can occur when the calibration is off or when the hardware of the webcam has become defective. As it is vague on several programs, this indicates that the webcam is the source of error. To help you, I need the following information:

    1. computer model number. If you need help to find this information, you can reference the following Web site: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07555

2 operating system. If you need help to find this information, you can reference the following Web site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows/which-operating-system

3 have you tried a second webcam in order to assess whether it is a webcam, or several having the issue?

In the meantime, I like you to follow the troubleshooting in this HP documents topic solved webcam, below. Please choose the appropriate document based on your operating system:

    Windows Vista: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01235743
