  I reinstalled Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion 23-P118. I was able to install most drivers, mainly because of these forums. I still cannot locate the drivers for the side USB 3.0 Ports. As far as I know, the motherboard is an Amber T 2 / I, but I still can't find Windows 7 drivers for these ports to work. The rider I was missing was for the SMBus.

  Since you did not complete your g6 model number, I can only imagine what version of the driver Atheros card wireless you need.  It is at least 4 different and only work.

  Hi all

  Recently, I upgraded my laptop from 5 to windows 8.1. After all windows etc updates, I realized that 5 devices were not recognized in Device Manager.

  By accessing the properties > details and choosing the hardware ID I found the drivers for two of my previously "unknown devices". Now, they work perfectly.

  If, for these other 3 devices, I am still unable to locate the required drivers.

  The identifiers are:

  One of the unknown devices probably driver wireless button

  The other is probably the driver 3D driveguard.

  I can't help more than this when you do not provide the number of full model of your laptop.

• Missing drivers on HP Pavilion DV7-6166

  I recently bought a used laptop and becaused it was used I advanced and reinstalled windows on it. But now there are several missing drivers on it, I tried to download from the hp Web site but they keep telling me that they have not been installed correctly. I also have them uninstalled from the Device Manager and rebooted the computer, but got the same error message. I downloaded the Hp Support Assistant, but that did not help.

  Now, as to why you couldn't find the drivers on your laptop support page...

  All the drivers, specifications and manuals are missing from pages support again.

  They have disappeared since Friday night.

  This happened earlier in the week also.

  Another Member of the forum has reported the problem to administrators forum, which will be in touch tour HP, but since I am not employed by, nor do I represent HP, I don't know how long it will take to restore the missing data to the support pages.

  If all goes well, now that it's Monday, HP is going to move to fixing the real problem soon.

  My computer is missing 4 drivers (network controller, Ethernet, PCI device and SM bus controller controller), including the first two (I presume?) stop to connect to Internet.
  I downloaded what looked like the appropriate drivers for the ethernet controller network off-site Internet HP on another computer and transfer files with a USB key.
  Then I opened the files and everything seemed to go well - installation wizard arrives, I accept the user agreement, it seems to start updating - when he suddenly stops and a notification will appear that says "your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update.   I would like first of all to understand what are the requirements may not be satisfied with my computer, and then how to find exactly the right drivers necessary to connect to the Internet.

  I have a portable G6 A3S29EA Pavilion #ABU 1247sa. I had a problem with it and downloaded Windows 7 sp1 top home addition.

  There are some missing drivers.

  There is a screenshot of the Device Manager. There is no id of the element with most of the material elements with missing drivers as the IDS are not appear.

  Please note that I am in Great Britain.

  Can anyone help with drivers or where I could get them?

  I tried the drivers on the HP site for the 1247, but they may not cure the problem.
