G60-235DX: G60-235DX Win10 Support

Win 10 installation always fails. Support MSFT says I need new drivers. When will the drivers be available?

Info: Double heart T4200 @ 2 GHz, 32 bit OS, x 64 CPU.

Instructions or concerns about installing 64-bit operating system would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Williamz

All you can do is control the HP website for driver updates.

  • HP G60: LightScribe still supported?

    Hello

I never had a reason to use LightScribe in the past, but I would like to update my software and recognize the pop - occasional ups during notifications to the.

I turned off my computer when I recently went on vacation for a few weeks and received notification of LightScribe, after that I turned on the computer after I got home.  The action took me to the web page of LightScribe, but the page has not been found.  When I went to www.lightscribe.com, also not found.  When I performed a simple search on HP.com, the last assignment on LightScribe was back in 2011.

Is this software is always supported by HP and if the software is no longer supported (or doesn't exist), then why do you always make notifications of the ubiquitous 'someone '?

    Thank you

    TA

    Hello

HP did not support Lightscribe for several years.  References to Web sites have also been removed.

You could try to reinstall the Lightscribe system software.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8-1200z CTO: update Win10 support video card power not on

I need to upgrade to Win10. The current GeForce 7500 video in my HP Pavilion H8 1200z is not supported, and Nvidia is not writing a new driver for it.

I bought a PowerColor Radeon HD5450 1 GB which is supported by Win10.

My system will not produce any video when turned on after installing the HD5450 video card.

There was a suggestion elsewhere on the web that I may need to update the MB BIOS to take in charge this "so-called" compatible PCIe card back.

There is no latest BIOS listed on the site of HP for this Gigabyte MB support.

Is it possible to get this video update of work in my PC?

Yes, I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't work anymore.  Maybe try a Geforce 5 * series or 6 * series card that also supports Windows 10.  The real card that has begun is problem is not a great artist, then maybe a lower in the 5 * or Geforce card 6 * series will do.

  • Driver satellite P875 and Win10 support

    Hi guys
I had some problems with my Nvidia drivers, but unfortunately I have not found drivers to win 10 provided by Toshiba.

I have a laptop P875-10R (PSPLBE-005006HU), Will It get support drivers for win 10 or should I not bother with it and come back to win 8.1?

All models, you can find on http://win10upgrade.toshiba.com/swup...spx?region=TEG
The question is whether the list will be updated and augmented with the older models. To be honest I don't think.

In my opinion you should use supported OS and you know that everything works perfectly.

  • Satellite NB10t-A-101 - problem with graphics card Intel using Win 10

After I upgraded to Windows 10, The graphics card worked fine, at least 4 months later, I saw that the Intel Graphics tray icon was missing when I went into device manager he had a small exclamation mark by it and said

Your computer's system firmware does include enough information to properly configure and use this device.
To use this device, contact the manufacturer to obtain a firmware or an update of the BIOS of your computer. (Code 35)

Then, I looked a little further into the problem and found this:

    Problem code: 00000023
The problem: the resources for this device in conflict with the MCFG table.

I have not edited the PC somehow, any solution to this problem

If Win10 supports the Intel HD graphics chip, a driver will be available in Windows Update.

  • Satellite M50-A-11 q - upgrade Windows 10

I thought I had posted this question yesterday, but I'm not so, apparently, have not :-)

To put it simply, I reserved my copy of Windows 10 along with millions of others. Especially for the Toshiba M series (of Mine a N50-A-11 q comes with Win 8.1), what are your intentions...

    (1) upgrade as soon as you can

    2. stick with Win 8.1 indefinitely

    3. hold at 8.0 indefinitely if that's what he delivered with

    4. wait a little to see if other users of Toshiba M50 gets compatibility or performance problems

    See you soon

    David

    Hi David

I have S50 Satellite - B and I ve also reserved my copy of Win10.
To be honest, I won't wait until Toshiba starts Win10 support. I'll immediately install to see how it works and if there is some software issue on.

If something goes wrong I can reinstall original recovery image.

  • ThinkPad x 1 carbon SIM

    Hello world

I have a question about the SIM card in x 1 carbon. I'm not very good with technology, so I do not know if my x 1 carbon has a working SIM slot.

It has a slot for SIM card, but when I put it, it does not do anything, like "detection" or something like that.

My question is: is x 1 carbon (model 20A 8 - S00600) has a slot for SIM work. If so, how can I make functional.

If this is not what do I need to make or buy to make it functional.

    Thank you

    kushtrim,

Sierra Wireless modem em7345, FRU 04 X 6014, is compatible with x1c gen2 you have. It of a pretty universal modem, supports the largest number of 3 G/LTE networks in the world. Modem supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks as well. This modem is temperamental, but in the compressed windows mainly.

Ericsson n5321, FRU 04W3842, is a 3G modem for the European networks.

About the operating system, modern LTE modems do not need manufacturer drivers, win10 supports natively. In this case n5321 seems more failed choices, there are a lot of discussions about the problems of modem Ericsson under win10.

Get a SIM with mobile broadband (Internet access) service is enabled and modem should work if Windows supports your connection to operator settings. Otherwise, you will set yourself without difficulty.

  • HP Envy 17 t-n100 CTO: my usable laptop Samsung 950 Series PCIe x 4 Pro (Gen 3), NVMe as boot drive?

Just bought HP Envy 17 ", 17 t-n100. Originally, it is equipped with a 512 GB SSD, the m2, the sata3. I want to update Samsung SSD 950 Pro Series, 256 GB, PCIe NVM, m2 and use it as a boot drive. Is it possible for this laptop?

    * In terms of hardware, this laptop computer motherboard does support SSD PCIe and NVMe (physically and electrically)?

    * How about this laptop Bios, support NVMe? I know that win10 supports NVMe, but what the BIOS?

Appreciate the answers to these questions

The BIOS is not the issue. It also has to do with the material. And do you seriously change the BIOS is a viable option? The BIOS is exceptionally hardened against hacking efforts. Very few succeeded. A lot of effort have been made to the number of white list of wifi and very, very little success by very serious coders, which most of us is not.

HP makes now several models that use NVME m2 disks but they are for most business models. I have one in my G3 from 15 Zbook I added and my 'world of the thinner' spectrum 13 was one of the factory. I tried upgrading my laptop SATA m2 (a Lenovo Carbon X 1) used prior and he is not, and this is the result which has been reported here with similar models of HP.

  • Hardrive can be upgraded for laptop HP G60-235DX of 320 to 500 GB

    Hello.

I learned by a person of tech HP (on the phone) that my HP G60 purchased in 2008 could not be improved to a 320 to a 500 GB.  He could not tell me the reason why not.  The Geek Squad at Best Buy, where I bought the laptop, was told that the upgrade should not be a problem.  My system has 512 of RAM and runs Windows Vista.  Is there a reason why I can't spend my hard drive?  My drvie just died and since I have to replace it, I'd like to update if possible.

    Bookmombridget

    Hello

Make sure that you have burned Recovery DVD for your operating system.

I see no reason for you is not able to upgrade to a 500 GB HARD drive, but I see that you say you have 512 MB of RAM.  If this is the case, just check the link below it is your model, because it indicates that you should have 3 GB of Ram installed.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01630402

512 MB Ram really is too little to run Vista.  Your profile says your machine can have up to 4 GB of Ram.  You really should have at least 1 GB, and 2-3 GB would be really better.

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes

  • Turning on g60-235dx; has said it is to install the updates, then reboots on & more...?

Here's the process sort of what the computer goes through when I turn it on:

    1. turn on

    2. when the screen is always black, it displays a message"for a moment or two that says" 2/83 (_000000000000000.cdf - ms).

3 carry on as if it is going back to start normally

4 makes this startup sound and displays the glowing 'windows' logo

5 screen "install updates".  It is said it is install update 3 of 3 and that it is 0% complete

    6. the mouse move

    7. the screen goes black and it shuts

    8. return to step 1 and repeat to infinity. (the 'message' in step 2 changes sometimes other combinations strange number/letter)

I thought that if I left him alone to do that for a minute he could out of his system (not that I thought it would work) and he "restarted" about 15 times before I unplugged and went out of the battery.  I left only a few hours and tried and it's the same thing (except that "Windows is not stopped correctly" screen between steps 1 & 2, but only the first time it "lights up").

I know that the computer has been overheating lately and I intend to clean the fan as soon as I can, but I feel somehow that it is not related...

Any suggestions on how to get this thing working normally again?

    Vista?

After installing updates from Windows Update, it can go into a reboot loop
where you machines arrives at "Configuring updates 3 of 3. X % complete"then freezes or
    that it recharges.

    Solution:

    1. boot from the Windows system repair disc (or a regular installation of Vista/W7 disc) and choose the option fix lower-left
corner, select the Windows system restore and select a prior Restore Point the
    try to install updates.

1B. If you do not have the DVD, and Vista/W7 is preinstalled on the
machine, use F8 to the bios boot screen to get the advanced Windows screen, choose "Repair your computer" in the list, leave the loading of Windows RE then make a Windows system restore.

If it works you will again propose updates to Windows, this time only install some Windows updates at a time, reboot the PC between each round of updates.

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    2. If the restore fails to solve the 3 loop 3, load the recovery environment "command prompt".
    Come in:

    Del C:\Windows\winsxs\pending.xml

    Press ENTER key

exit Recovery Environment and restart the pc, you can get 3/3 one more time, but be patient, the Office should take over. Create a restore point and disable automatic updates until you can get updates caused the loop.

If it works you will again propose updates to Windows, this time only install some Windows updates at a time, reboot the PC between each round of updates.
