G7 Notebook PC Pavilion: Pavilion G7 dropped and won't turn on

A few years ago, I had dropped my G7 and it had not turned on since and did not bother trying to fix it so far and it is not worth paying for repair and would like to do it myself. Can I get any help?

None of the stuff didn't work and I decided to take a break. Later, I took apart and found the cable linking the port of loading of the laptop had been disconnected. And that's why he wasn't turning on.

  • 700 Lenovo does not load and won't turn on

I bought a 700 Yoga and after a few months it stopped charging and won't turn on. When you press the power button the light flashed amber a couple of times but that he was. I returned it for repair and repair says footnotes the BIOS has been updated and it worked again. Unfortunately the person making repair sliced the top of the laptop with what seems to have been a Stanley knife, but they said nothing. I returned it and got a replacement.

Now, a few weeks later, I have exactly the same symptoms with the new 700 of Yoga. Is this a known problem with the 700 because it seems too much of a coincidence? I'll probably just ask for my money back, unless someone can tell me a miracle solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick follow-up. I bought a cheap compatible charger and my laptop began to charge again. In my case, it is a broken charger that has been the problem.

I see it's been a while since you have posted with us on the HP Forums.  Please, let me take a moment to say "Welcome Back".

I see that you have a problem with the printer l ' auto turn off and not turning it back on.

You happen to have the printer power cable connected to a power strip/bar?  If so, please try to connect the printers power cable directly to a wall outlet.  Here is a document that explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

The printer in the document is a LaserJet printer but this document is intended for HP products in general and only use the LaserJet printers for example.

  • Laptop power light blinking and won't turn on

I have a laptop HP Pavilion 1045DX M6 and I recently tried to plug it into a screen RGB, analog and I saw a spark and the laptop off.

During this time, I ran the laptop directly from the adapter without battery because I don't really use it.

If the laptop is turned off and I tried to turn it back on and nothing happened. The charge indicator light turned off even though it was still plugged. I thought that maybe the power adapter does work more or something, but I tested it with a voltmeter and there was still power in.

So I decided to put the battery in the laptop was able to turn on, and after a while, it an area that I never felt heat it before was really hot and later felt like something was burning.

But anyway, when it started, the screen resolution was really weak and made a maximum brightness. When the laptop end of initialization, it randomly started to install drivers (such as WLAN rapid storage and intel) and Yes. Sound does not work either. I tried to connect the laptop back and battery does not charge.

I turned off and took out the battery and tried to run the AC adapter only but the light flickered constantly and when I press on it, the WiFi (F12) button light on for a second then back off the coast. I also hear that high frequency noise I have ever heard before somewhere in the laptop.

I've done a hard reset with no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    Hi @djstar12 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using the forum, it's a great place to find answers. You have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you have attempted to connect an analog RGB display and you saw a spark. The laptop off and then will not re-start. (the battery has been removed at the time). The light on the adapter was not turned on so you checked the voltage on the adapter and it was fine.

You tried power turn it on with the battery power and booted up with display dim and started to install the drivers, but you have noticed, it was getting very hot in a specific area. Also, you do not have audio and the battery does not charge.

Once again, you removed the battery and tried so that it starts with the adapter and the light on the adapter flashes continuously. You also hear the treble and when you tried to activate the wireless, he came for a second and then powered back off.

The only thing that I can suggest to test the adapter and the equipment.

Using and testing the power adapter AC

Test of hardware failures (Windows 7, Vista).

If you determine that it must be replaced or decide to buy a replacement, you can contact HP technical support for other options.

  • iPod touch off and won't turn on

I just bought an ipod touch not even two days ago and I have updated to ios 9 yesterday and everything was fine. I woke up this morning with it still works and a few hours later went to use it and it won't turn? I thought it was dead, so I plugged in the charger and it still doesn't react? Anyone know what is happening or how to fix it?

    Force restart your iPod.

Press and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

If this does not help, follow the instructions here.

  • Satellite C50 - A - 14 d is shuts off and won't turn back on

My new Satellite C50 - A - 14 off d on 30 minutes ago and no restarts. When he stops, he was about 50% of power left.

I tried to load, but the light that lights up while loading did not come, so I pulled out the charger.

If anyone knows what is the problem, please tell me.

    Thank you.

The power LED indicates if power correctly to the laptop.
In case it turn OFF, power is not supplied to the laptop.

There are two possible reasons for this:
    (1) the adapter is faulty
    (2) malfunction of the notebook s electronic supply (part of the motherboard)

If these two parties needs a check.

  • BlackBerry 8520 smartphones turned off and won't turn on! Help!

I may be wrong pressed a few buttons (sleep) and I woke up to see my vocation as a voice configuration 8520 and it was completed at 98% (so I thought it was better to leave full since he was almost finished). I woke up again a few hours later and she's not coming. I removed the battery several times, but only the red light comes on for a few seconds then it turns off and the screen remains blank... What I've done wrong and what I would do!

Leave the device in 2 or 3 hours of charging and then, still connected to the charger cable, remove the battery of the device a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage). If it is not restart on the first attempt, leave several hours. I had a charge for two days before, she came back to life after extreme exhaustion of the battery. Every 3-4 hours with the device plugged into the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it restarts.

If this does not work, if your BlackBerry remains powered turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

    Hello

I have an iPod 5th generation. I had for a few years, so it is a little high upward. The broken home button some time ago and now I use assistive touch, but the power button works fine.

I was playing a game over, tapped contact assistance and is gone to the press at home, but it didn't work. I tried a few times, it did not work. So I turned my iPod off, planning to open it and try again, but after that I turned it off, I couldn't turn it back on my iPod. I was pressing the power button and it lights up. I held it down to turn on if the iPod had crashed, but Apple wouldn't show. I usually get 20% low battery "sign, I do not have this time so I guess that I still had a battery life still.

I can't force start the iPod because my home button. I have loaded, and the Apple startup does not always display. I tried everything except restore it, what can I do?

    Hello.

Press the sleep/wake and home buttons and keep them for at least 10 seconds.

If this is not enough, take a look at these articles Support from Apple:

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch does not respond or does not turn on - Apple Support

Use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo on the screen of your iPhone iTunes. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your iPhone needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • "No material error installed" and sometimes the Wifi turned off and won't turn back on

    Hello

I have a 15 2011 "Macbook Pro and recently for a week or 2 it is a. I started having problems with wifi. Wifi seems generally after 5 minutes of connectivity and I need to restart the computer sometimes, it suits it, but other times I get the notorious "no hardware not found" when I click on the wifi icon. It never happened to me before because the wifi worked well. I tried resetting SMC and the PRAM reset and I don't know what to do. One thing I noticed is that the Macbook Pro runs very well on flat surfaces, but when I say use on a pillow or on the bed he falls dead.

This suggests a bad internal connection.  The best option is an appointment at an Apple store for a FREE genius bar.

  • Satellite A300 - no power light and won't turn on

    Hello:

My satellite A300 fell off my office. It has been disconnected.
A few hours later, I tried to turn it on, but does not work when I plug the ac cable lights that turn on normally.
Ive opened to check if there is nothing broken, but it seems all good.
    What can I do?

My battery is dead, so I can't do anything with it.

on the virtual path that is not easy to say what the problem is here, but if there is no reaction and led DC is not on I assume that there is a problem with the power of electronic power supply on the motherboard.

Visually, everything can be OK, but some connectors are probably damaged.
Repair (Exchange motherboard) is quite expensive, so I think you should sell it on eBay and get any other machine.

Satellite A300's beautiful machine, and you can get another A300 used on eBay for about 100-150 Euros.
