HP OFficejet Pro L7680 turns off and won't turn back on.

Hello untech,.

I see it's been a while since you have posted with us on the HP Forums.  Please, let me take a moment to say "Welcome Back".

I see that you have a problem with the printer l ' auto turn off and not turning it back on.

You happen to have the printer power cable connected to a power strip/bar?  If so, please try to connect the printers power cable directly to a wall outlet.  Here is a document that explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

The printer in the document is a LaserJet printer but this document is intended for HP products in general and only use the LaserJet printers for example.

I'll also include a document indicating when the HP printer will not be running or to respond when the power button is pressed.

If by chance the problem is not resolved after you complete the steps described, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, please click here: click here.

Please do not hesitate to write me again if you have any other questions.

I wish you a great Monday!

See you soon,.

    Hello, Heidi

Remove the battery, connect your laptop adapter only and try starting your laptop running. When the laptop boot and OS is fully loaded, wait a few minutes and reinsert the battery.

If everything is OK look carefully if the battery will be charged correctly and when battery LED is green (fully charged battery) try to turn off your laptop as usual. Turn it back on and carefully monitor what is happening exactly.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Shuts off and won't come back on iPad. Just shows the Apple logo. Does that mean and what should I do now?

When I woke up yesterday morning after charging my ipad I just couldn't turn my ipad until I plugged in the laptop... worked well

Yet once, I woke up this morning it's the same thing, but now all I see is a dim apple logo and it will turn back not... do not update AFAIK.

Does that mean and what should I do?

Try a forced reboot and see if that fixes it. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

  • OfficeJet Pro L7680 dropped off the grid, indicates 'No Link'

I have been using this printer for about 3 years on my home network.   I assigned a static IP address, and the family had been printing happily.   A few weeks ago, the printer is offline and I was not able to put it back on the network.   We can print correctly by using the USB cable, but it does not help when the computer is a desktop machine in another room.

I tried the automatic (DHCP) and manual settings on the printer, but I cannot be granted on the router, not to mention all the client computers.

When I go into screen manual IP settings on the printer control panel, it shows 'No. Link' at the bottom.    The router not indicate any ethernet connection on the port, I have the connected printer.   Changing the port on the router has no effect, and other ports on the router are working fine (cable the computers are online).   When I look at the Ethernet on the back of the printer, I see a yellow light and a green light.  When I unplug the ethernet of the printer connector, the Green and yellow lights will remain lit.

My theory is that there no ethernet on the printer controller.  If someone can tell me what means 'No. Link' and a green and yellow light?

Sorry - seems bad.  You could try to reset the configuration of the network on the printer and then put cycling on the printer.

If this does not work, then you can try a partial reset (hold it # and 3 keys while you plug in the printer and turn on).  You can also try a reset full semi (# and 6 keys) and a complete reset (# and 9 keys) as well.

Note that you will lose all your settings with these reset sequences.

    Good luck.

  • OfficeJet Pro L7680 does not

Powers of the printer on but do not have orders.  Displays what appears to be a symbol of power with a code starting with a letter followed by seven numbers.  Currently, it reads B8076358.  Will Flash media slots.  If I press the power button, the unit shuts off and won't come back.  All the other buttons have no effect.  How can I correct this problem and get the printer up and run again?

Reset your power by disconnecting from the back of the printer and the wall.  In addition, disconnect the power cord from the power supply itself.

Wait a minute and plug everything back in and repeat the test.

  • iPhone 5 turned off and won't turn back on

Hi guys, my iPhone 5 turned off and won't turn back on despite my efforts to load. He doesn't have anything happen when the charge as the battery showing it is low or that the phone needs to be recharged.

    http://cosmouk.cdnds.NET/15/43/1445347217-iOS-low-battery.PNG

It doesn't have this show in any every time I try to turn it on and even while there is no evidence a load.

I corrected it when I contacted Apple support. They broke down the power and Home button to force restart it. Works fine now, battery has been replaced but because she is "consumed".

  • Hi, my iphone 5 turned off and won't turn on.

My phone was in charge all night, and it turned off this morning showing no signs of the battery. I put it on charge but it turned off and won't turn on again. He has been in charge for 3 hours now, what should I please?

Try to maintain Power + "Home" button until the Apple Logo appears

If prior work don't try connecting to iTunes holding the home button & restore the phone!

  • OfficeJet Pro L7680 print from Windows ME

I have a few PCs in a network running on Windows ME, and I would get very BASIC printing, connect to a HP Officejet Pro L7680 all-in-One color in the same network. I don't have scanning or fax, only very basic print options. Suggestions how to recover a basic driver?

    Thanks in advance

    Paolo

All you have to do is to add a TCP/IP printer to the printers IP address port and install the HP Deskjet 990c printer driver included with ME (?). which should help you to print.

  • OfficeJet Pro L7680 AIO: OfficeJet Pro L7680 AIO DRIVER will be available for Windows 10?

(NOTE: you don't list Windows 10 64-bit under the above operating systems.)

I have an OfficeJet Pro L7680 AIO running Windows 7.  It has been a wonderful printer.  (I started to work on printers in 1966, so I have some experience with them).  Its quality and reliability have been superb.

When I "upgraded" to win 8, I found that no driver was, so I bought a new HP AIO, but its controls were so poor and hard to see that I returned it immediately.   Then I returned to Windows 7, a good solid o/s.

Now, I'm thinking 'redevelopment' of Windows 10.  I had assumed that no driver for my L7680 would be available, but I read somewhere that one became available for Windows 8.1 (?)

My question is: a driver Windows 10 will be available for my excellent L7680 AIO?   Or do I have to stay on Windows 7 to use it?

Windows 10 is not quite finished yet, is not clear what will be included.  (Last week there were three versions of the builds on the fast ring.)  The last public version includes a printer HP Officejet Pro L7600 Series driver.

Page www.hp.com/go/windows10upgrade no details, but said toward the end of July for more information on what will be officially supported in Windows 10.

  • All-in-one HP OfficeJet Pro L7680: it has an internal memory?

Same question as the last message for a printer differnet model (sorry for what may seem like a question in double - I'm trying just to be sure that I don't cause me a headache later).

I have a printer HP OfficeJet Pro L7680 all-in-One (FAX, Scan, Print, Photo) I would like to get rid of him.  Before disposing of it, and for reasons of security, I would like to know if there is an internal hard drive that could potentially be storing all I can have copied, scanned or faxed.

Hello sixmil5and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you have concerns about the internal memory of the printers.  Memory is automatically reset when the printer is disconnected, so you have no problem with personal information being recorded.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums and please let me know if you have any other questions.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7680 Allin1: Software for HP all-in-One Printer

I have a HP all-in-one Officejet Pro L7680, and every now and then it disappears from my computer Windows 7 64-bit.  It is removed from the list of printers in any program use to print something, and it has also disappeared from the list of printers and Windows devices.  The center of HP Solutions icon cannot access the computer and gives an error message saying that the printer is not completely installed.  Printing software is always on the computer, in order to reinstall the printer, I have to go through the process of uninstalling all software before installing again from scratch.  I thought I had all the printer installed updates, but there may be something I don't know. I know how to uninstall and reinstall from scratch - I will do now - but this product every two months, and I would like to avoid having to do that later.

Help or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

I add this addendum to the message a day after posting the original message in order to provide additional information.  Yesterday, I removed and installed from scratch print drivers.  I ended up having to do this three times.  Each time, I managed to install the complete printer very well, but when I installed updates (directly or in the past), the printer drivers "disappeared" in my list of printers and it was not accessible more programs I need to print things (processor or browsers).  After the disappearance, I deleted programs and reinstalled.  In the end, I chose to not not to install updates because that has caused the printer to disappear.  I was able to print.  However, today when I booted up my computer, the printer was 'gone' again.  I deleted the drivers (using windows 7 uninstall a program function) and I reinstall drivers again, but given the speed at which the printer is missing, I'm not optimistic that this will work for a long time.  I don't know all major changes I made to my computer recently that could possibly cause the disappearance of the printer suddenly occur so frequently.  I get Windows updates each week.  Hmm.    Another note - after installing the drivers yesterday so I could print, I created a "restore point" on my computer.  Today, when the printer was "gone", I tried to restore to the restore point, but the restore process has failed.  That's why I have to reinstall the drivers again today.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Thanks for letting me know.

Let's start with the instructions I posted, but change a few steps: please do not follow the steps in RED

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. Download the software and choose Save as, save to desktop > OJProL7X00_Full_14.exe
    4. Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error fix
    5. After step 3 and extracted downloads software, open the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.
    6. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
    7. Open the Util folder
    8. The CCC folder
    9. If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe

Instead of the procedure described in the reading, please uninstall the software by following the steps in this link: uninstall the printer software Instructions

Now, you can return to pick them up to step 10 and complete all the steps of the procedure.
