Gallery closes above all pictures from camera

This has happened only since the gingerbread. All thoughts. ??

Try to clear the data in Gallery and storage media in Manage Applications. This should reset the gallery. When you first open gallery after having clearly given it will probably take a few minutes so he could find all the photos on the SD card. Just let it work until he finds everything. I hope this will clear up your problem. I hope this helps.

  • How to download pictures from camera to printer on a HP4622

I bought a HP4622 and now I can find no way to download photos from a camera to the printer. Is it possible to do it on the printer?

    Thank you

    Hello aerospecs,

He is not a player card or a USB port on your printer, there is no way to 'download pictures from camera to printer '.

You need to look at your camera and see if there is a way to download images from the camera to the computer, usually done with a mini USB cable.

You can always buy a card reader to connect to your computer and download from your card directly to the computer, and then print photos from your computer.  You can buy these card readers for less than $20 of Wal Mart to Best Buy and many shops in the meantime.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

If Autorun does not start, the following steps may
    be worth a try:

Connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable and
    Turn on the camera.

Reach... Start / computer / removable devices
    Storage...

Look at the drive letters and see if one of them
represents the camera. He can say removable disk

If the camera is recognized... right click on the drive letter
and from the menu choose... Open or explore.

The directory of the memory card in the camera must
poster and if you browse through the various
files, you must find the photo files.

Once found... you can copy/paste the pictures in a folder
    on your hard drive.

Simple and the best solution IMHO is to use an internal
or external USB memory card reader.

It will not drain your camera batteries and can be faster.
FWIW... download from the camera when batteries
can be low after a long photo shoot could result
    corrupted photos.

You have a USB media drive internal or external?

Insert the memory card into the correct location on the media player...
    If open windows... Close them.

When the card is inserted... If you go to... Start / computer... is
player card on one or several removable disks?
(You could say, "devices with... of removable storage")

    Removable (e :)) drive
    Removable disk (e :))
    Removable drive (g)

If_Yes_you can download photos from there. Left click
the drive letter that corresponds to the memory card must
display the directory of the card and you can copy and paste or
Drag and drop the photos of your choice in a folder on your hard drive
    drive.

Just a select group of photos do a right-click and choose... Copy...
then navigate to the folder that you want, and then right-click the
    folder and choose Paste.

As J has suggested, you can buy a separate media player.  It is possible that the USB port on your camera has failed.

Almost all digital cameras use a memory removable device... more often, it is an SDHC card (below).  You can buy devices that will read a variety of media.  For example, http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Flash-Memory-Reader-FCR-HS219/dp/B00109Y2DQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1337378562&sr=8-2 is a player of 19-one for $13.52 on Amazon

You can get them cheaper, especially if you don't need the capability of multiple type.  Make sure that the drive you buy will work with the type of device memory used by your camera.  From what I've seen, there are not many benefits to get a much more common USB 3.0 rather than USB 2.0 card reader.

It is always sensible in this situation to achieve a malware check

    Hello

    Check if AutoPlay is enabled.

Important: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756/ ) how to back up and restore the registry in Windows

The AutoPlay feature may not be turned on. To enable automatic playback, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start and then click Run.

    b. type regedit and then click OK.

    c. look for, and then click the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom

    d. double-click Autorun and see if a zero or one is displayed in the value data box.

    ·         If the value for Autorun is 1, go to step e.

    ·         If the value for Autorun is 0, right-click Autorun, and then click on edit. In the value data box, type 1 and then click OK.

    e. look for, and then click the following subkey:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

    f. double-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun to see its value. If the value is 0xb5, AutoRun for CD-ROM is disabled. To enable the Autorun feature, follow these steps:

    g. right-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun.

    h. click on change.

    i. in the value data box, type 91.

    j. Select hexadecimal and then click OK.

    k. exit from the registry editor.

a test to determine if the problem is resolved.

At the end of the day - the most reliable and consistent method is really - to get a CF card reader and simply copy the files off the power.

  • Transfer photos from camera to PC: photo library no matter the last photos - just all THE pictures...

I'm trying to transfer photos from my phone to my PC camera. Normally, Windows Photo Gallery simply matter most recent photos from the last time. It is important now that each peak on my device (more than 400 photos). Can anyone advise how to either my (Nokia N95) device or PC simply import the most recent photos and not every pic that exists on the device? All solutions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi Homeister,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?

We recommend that you cross check if the target location to store/save image files is intact.
We also recommend you to reset a default file arrangement and check the result.

Check if the problem continues in a new user account.
    1. open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, then clicking on user accounts.
    2. click on manage another account.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. click on create a new account.
    4. type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

  • How to import pictures from my camera to my computer

How to import pictures from my sony digital camera to my computer

    Hi skootto58,

Google may help, or it can take you in many directions different or bad.  I have actually used Bing to get to most of the links posted here - so it is obviously useful, but most of us are trying to be a bit more useful than answering questions (even if lack us critical information).  I have referred you to a more appropriate forum, but since I think I can help with the question, I'll answer anyway.  Next time, unless you think that the problem is caused by malware or MSE (which I doubt is the case here), a question like that should be displayed in the site appropriate in the main forum from here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/hardware?page=1&tab=all&tm=1300700638376.

I could be more specific, if I had the specific brand and model of the digital camera and the version of Windows you are using (for example, the SP2 32-bit Vista Business - Yes that much detail).  I don't know if your model has a USB transfer cable or if you remove the memory card and use a player to access the photos.  As it is, I can provide only generic information.  If it helps, it's fine.  If not, then provide this information and I'll try to find specific instructions.

    See the following article: http://www.ehow.com/how_5983411_import-pictures-camera.html.

Here's a simple tutorial if you use Vista (and a camera with a USB connection): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/How-do-I-get-pictures-from-my-camera-to-my-computer.

Here's a simple tutorial if you use Windows 7 (and a camera with a USB connection): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-do-I-get-pictures-from-my-camera-to-my-computer.

This article deals with transfers of memory flash cards as well as in Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Working-with-digital-pictures.

If using Vista and the problem is that AutoPlay is not enable, see the following set up: http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-vista/change-windows-vista-auto-play-options/.

To be honest, I think the best bet is to go to the Sony support, enter information about your camera, and I think one of the most frequently asked questions for each of them is to know how to transfer pictures to a computer.  Click on that and you should get specific instructions (even though they may vary depending on your Windows operating system, but will probably provide details for the latest versions or they will be so similar that no additional detail is required).  Start here enter your camera model: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?PRODTYPE=7&NAVDISP=di# and then just look for the instructions and follow them.

If the above does not work, try to download the manual of your camera from here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DOCS and there is an excellent chance it will cover transfers to computers in every detail.

If that still doesn't work, try their technical support at: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-contacts.pl?mdltype_id=3233637171028026724455847427576110810910389103578487710629503964124158815260451017366768662546770682171881008225288369594924104537922424613105685336519473843437435.  There is a good chance that this may involve a cost if your camera is out of warranty. In any case, chances are that it will cost you are highest with phone average contact with chat contacts and the lowest with contact e-mail (just as the level and speed of charge often decreases the same way).

If you can't get free technical support from Sony and don't want to pay for it (and I can't blame you for it), then try their Forums (like this but for Sony and products free to use) and ask your questions there. Start here: https://forum.sel.sony.com/viewforum.php?f=69&sid=7d46201819078b814c4a7095f972920b and check to see if your question is already answered - it can be.  If this isn't the case, post and wait.  They seem not very active so it may be a while before you get a useful answer.

If any of the works above, answer the questions I asked earlier to identify what we deal with, and I'll try to find something a little more precise.  If you have tried to do so but have a certain type of problem, then please also go into detail about what has happened or not happened when you tried.  The system detects the device or memory card?  Be as specific and detailed as possible because more I know, the better I can help you.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
