Gallery Photo Viewer error: Photoviewer.dll
Error loading C:\Program Files (X 86) \... etc... \Photoviewer.dll
The system cannot find message for message number 0 x %1 in the message for %2 file
I get this error message when you try to run the 32-bit Vista Windows Photo Gallery. I tried to re register the .dll file, but he couldn't do it with regvsvr32.
Try the repair installation upgrade, if you possibly can borrow a DVD Vistra someone.
Other that that, I can't help you.

I want to be able to associate the photo files to the Windows and Windows Live Photo Gallery Photo Viewer viewer. In both cases, I can't find the executable files. I would like to know the file name and location.
Hey healee.
There is no executable file to the Windows Photo Viewer. It is not a stand-alone application. So you can't run it as an application rather it runs with dllhost.exe.
Same information applies to Windows Live Photo Gallery.
The dll for the photo viewer file is located here:C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Viewer\PhotoViewer.dll
Coming to your point about the picture of opening attached files in Mozilla, you should be able to open the file with using Windows Photo Viewer open with which gives the possibility to choose the helper application.

Live Photo Gallery Photo Viewer background color
Hello to my favorite Windows, Forum
I just installed the latest Windows Live Photo Gallery version 2009 (Build 14.0.8064.206). I don't write to complain, but I have to tell you that I had to install this because the past years would crash and tell me that my dear photo files were missing or corrupt. I hope that this latest version no longer has this problem. It seems to be the same, with the exception of a few minor changes in the image viewer. All I want is to change the black as it used to be rather than the white, than what I have now. I liked the way my photos looked on this background. Is it possible that I can change this?
Thank you
canoetoday
Hi Shane,
This isn't what I want to do. This program is the only one I want with a black background. I know it sounds picky, but the pictures looked better like this and there was a richer texture to them when scrolling. Someone Photo Gallery team must also feel this way because the show has a black background.I appreciate your suggestion, but I think I'll just wait for an update and maybe the background will change then. I would also add that Photo Gallery had not planted with the new version.
Thank you

Unable to display pictures using Windows Photo viewer, error: COM Surrogate.
Hi RazorCallahan,
Are you using Intel display drivers?
If so, most of the people have been able to solve the problem by rolling back to the previous Intel driver which solves the 'COM Surrogate' error.
For more information, you can consult at the suggestion of steve314159 from the following link:
I hope this helps.
It seems that the pilot was the problem, but when I scroll the photos is always a little slow/lag.

Whenever I try to open a picture/photo, I get this message "Windows liver Gallery encountered an error loading WLXPhotoViewer.dll and cannot start error code: 0 x 80070035. Around her, the only is to save the file, then open it with another program. I'm frustrated because this is a nuisance and time-consuming. Any suggestions please?
Maybe the exclusive database is corrupted.
Read the following article.

or does not start
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/944221/en-us
(according to version, database can be
Pictures.PD4, Pictures.pd5 or Pictures.pd6)Rename the Pictures.OLD file will force Live Photo
Gallery to create a new database on the next launch file.Know that the gallery will be as it was the first time that you
open and some metadata and labels may be lost. -
Error: "COM Surrogate has stopped working" while looking at pictures in Windows Photo Viewer
Original title: the window picture viewer does not
Windows Photo Viewer seem hangs (not responding) after some reversal if image file in an image folder. Try to complete the Viewer by using task Manager, error popup saying com surrogate has stopped working. Windows 7 can not even stop after that. I have to do a hard reboot.
It seems functing fine, until I uninstalled Mcafee Security Center, ran a program of removal of Mcafee, Development and installed kaspersky internet security 2011.
Have someone faced this problem before?
Need your advice.
Try this. It worked for me. So far, the question has not returned.
In command prompt type each separately and press on enter after each. It is the reinstatement of the .dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll regsvr32 jscript.dll

Images do not open in the Viewer Windows photo with error 0 x 80070000?
Whenever I try to open my pictures in Windows Photo Viewer, it must always be charged and I end up closing running my patience to the ground. I then change the program to open it in Windows Live Photo Gallery and it comes up with an error of 0 x 80070000, I watched this but can not solve. So for now, I use Microsoft Office 2010 photo viewer and it works fine but I want to use other programs.
Anyone can solve this help please!
Hi BrentonFazzolari,
· What is the file format of the image?
· You get this error for all images, you're trying to open?
· How long have you been faced with this problem?
· You did it last changes before the show?
I suggest you follow the TEPS to solve the problem:
a. see other photos including the different sizes and different formats and see if the performance is the same.
(b) as a general rule, this behavior may be caused by prior caching in Windows Live Photo Gallery too. Precacheing can cause many to use system resources. We will try to disable caching prior to this problem. To do this, proceed as follows.
Note: changes to the registry can damage unrecoverable, please back up the registry first.
(a) click Start and type regedit in the box start the search.
(b) locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live\ Photo Gallery\Viewer
(c) click on edit, point to new and then click DWORD (32-bit) value.
(d) in the new area #1, type CacheSize and press ENTER.
(e) right click CacheSize and click on modify.
(f) in the value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
(g) close the registry editor.
Please post your question in the forums of Windows Live Photo Gallery to get help.

When I open the jpgs on a network drive I get the error: Windows Photo Viewer cannot open this picture because the picture is being edited in another program. If I close the jpg and re - open it opens very well each time. Sometimes with small and large files. I've recreated the same scenario on a second computer. The two machines are Win 7 64 bit. Some jpg opens the first time. If the file opens, it takes about 3 seconds. If I get the error that happens immediately.
Any thoughts?
