game full screen minimized every time someone instant me message via msn messenger and other pop-up alerts

Currently I play warcraft 3 frozenthrone. It happens that someone instant me message. not necessarily the person who played with me. I'm not sure about the version, but should be the same that I do not have day msn live messenger. When a message snapshot person me while I play full screen, my game will get minimize and go to desktop screen [the screen where you will see the icons and wallpapers on the desktop].

I fix it by reinstalling my graphic card driver... I think that some setting has been changed. That's why this event occurs... Thanks for answer you!

  • Games or applications full screen minimizing by itself. What is going on?

It's very annoying. I use Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 and when I play any game or using an application full screen (watch a movie on a full screen for example) they minimize or "UN-fullscren" by himself and his random. I don't know what to do. It is not a virus, I don't know if it of the MSN or what, done anything to check what is happening here, but not a solution. I googled and I saw some people with the same problem, same play games online, like the 2012 Fifa, Battlefield 3 and etc...
It isn't AVG, I use Avira free Antivirus.
Please, someone give me a helping hand, it never happened to me when I was with Windows XP SP3 and I need to use Windows 7 x 64 because my CPU is a quad core and I have 4 GB of ram.
    Thank you.

It's today... uninstalled Avira Personal for a whole day, let the internet connection, just in case where that had something to do with it and left a game full of screen for hours, both when I played and not. Get a single random didn't minimize. With Avira, I was getting 6-7 of them per day... sometimes an hour apart, sometimes two, but still random.

I guess that's all... and I hope it's just a temporary bug... n ' really have this problem until about two months ago and I have been using Avira for over a year, so I hope they fix soon.
  • Windows 7: cannot read games full screen

Now, I know that it is a very common problem, but so far, I found nothing like that that I have a problem with. First of all:

    • Acer Aspire Z5600
    • Windows 7 home x 64
    • Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 2.70 GHz
    • 3.00 GB Ram
    • 500 GB internal Hardrive, 1 TB external hard drive
    • Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset
    • Native resolution 1920 x 1080

Good at little about 3 months ago I had no problem with mode full screen and each game worked perfectly. Now, there are no games that I have who will play full screen without the screen goes funky on me. By funky I mean it becomes black, white, gray, (segments of quarter blue/red/green/yellow) then black again and go through this program permanently. I uninstalled the chipset and reinstalled with new drivers. I changed and tried all resolutions in all games with always the same effect, and this also happens when I try to change the native resolution. Nothing works but 1920 x 1080.

If anyone can help me would be great. My chance is just something simple, but I've exhausted my brain on this issue for some time and I would like to help.

(It is written for someone who does not know too well with Windows 7. Windows Vista must be the same fix. If there are any Windows XP delivers like this, post and I'll do what I can)

OK I'm back after a busy holiday season and I solved the problem (of course, it was so easy). I did enter my menu START, click DEVICES AND PRINTERS. According to this device, your video card is under (mine is in my computer, all in a single image) you want to double-click on that one. Go to the HARDWARE tab and scroll down until you see your video card, you have installed (you can see a lot of options related to the card as well. It is fine). You're going to go into the PROPERTIES of all the topics containing your card and ROLL BACK THE DRIVER on the DRIVERS tab. This will remove updates that Microsoft has put on your card finally allowing you to play fullscreen (resize your resolution).

I checked all Microsoft sites, Articles, affiliates, or even any help sites and the sad thing was, there was no help on this. However, I find a certain blip little info that triggered my mind to this fix. Microsoft had indicated there was a lot of problems with the updates that came out recently. That's all they said. Nothing to try and help and any info on how they will solve this problem with a new updated. As far as I know, there will be no update for this problem for ACER Z5600 all in One Touch screen PC Media.

If restore all your drivers causing problems for any other software you have (no problem for me), then I suggest to update all your drivers again and do trial and error with restore and update until you have all the programs happy. If all cannot coincide, then I propose to replace one of you're games/programs (any software is to give the question) to a more reputable.

Well, I really hope that this hotfix helps everyone with this problem. My life just that became much easier and not more mind frying time, lol. If this does work for you, then please click on "Mark as answer" if others can also enjoy their time again. : D

  • pointer does not move in the games full screen

My pointer do not move in the games when they are full screen on windows 7. In windowed mode, it works but it do not fit with all the games because I can't scroll.

    I've updated all my drivers...

It's a well known problem with Windows Vista, but it had an impact on many users... seemed random.  Microsoft produced a patch for Vista.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/932653/en-us

Windows 7 can get a similar fix in time.  In the meantime, it is possible to download the Vista fix & install it via a right click on the Setup file, clicking on properties, then the Compatibility tab and it runs as an application in Vista.

    Hello

    (1) what version of operating system do you use?
    (2) game that you are trying to read?
    (3) what happens when you try to play the game in full screen?
    (4) that you get an error message or error code?

I recommend you to update the graphics drivers and see if it makes a difference. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the assword or provide confirmation.
    2. in Device Manager, locate the device, and then double-click the device name.
    3. click Driver tab, then click on set to update driver and follow the instructions.

  • Games full screen is being kept to a minimum when I open them.

When I try to open a game in full screen, it becomes almost immediately downplayed. This does not happen at the games, I play in windowed mode, like WoW, but games such as Warcraft 3, Age of Empires and the Fable are all affected. I tried to close all other programs running and windows I had running and even turned off my internet connection for a while. I can't get into the game menu to access video options because it minimizes it, after that I restored windows. When the windows are reduced, there is nothing else open on my desk; no error message, no pop-up ads.

    (2) on the shortcut tab, go to run .

    (3) in the drop-down list, select expand .

    4) click apply to apply the setting.

    5) click Ok to confirm the change.

    Check if that helps.

Step 2: change the screen resolution

    To do so,

  • The computer crashes whenever I put on ' games full screen.

I know it seems immature, but I like to play games on my Windows Vista computer. I've had this computer for about 3 years and rarely have problems with it, at first, I thought it was the screen but when I want to play a game with full screen such as the sims 3 (^. ^) it just hangs... It's really annoying and I need help! :'(Merci-Rachael)

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes to the system before the show?

2 is the issue limited to the particular game or all games?

    Method 1

I suggest that reduce you the hardware acceleration on your computer and check if it helps.

For Windows vista and Windows 7

    (a) open display settings by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel.

    (b) click on appearance and personalization, click personalization, and then click display settings.

    (c) click on Advanced settings, click the Troubleshooting tab, and then click change settings.

Note:  Some video card drivers do not allow to change settings.

    (d) move the hardware acceleration slider to zero to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that you update the drivers of graphics card on the computer by visiting the graphics card manufacturer to download and install the latest update of the driver, check if that helps.

  • Something I did inadvertently deleted the menu bar, the toolbars. The screen 'back' when I move the cursor to the top of the screen if it is full screen all the time.

I was working on an email last night and must have something that I want to not defined. When I say firefox, this is full-screen, but without any menu or toolbars. Even when I move the cursor to the top of the screen to reveal what's there, yet there is no menu or toolbars list.

If you run Firefox in full screen, press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle (Mac: Ctrl + Shift + F).

  • Blue screen 116 every time that Windows updates

original title: 116 every time that Windows Update BSOD

OK, so I'm in a bad mood, so this will be brief. I managed to understand I get BSOD every time I update my graphics driver, and I have no idea what kind of card I because it is a company built PC (never buy Dells) and the owner of this PC (that is to say my father and family) reinstalled Windows compeletly before I could look, so all I have is "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" in the Device Manager. Try to manually update the drivers causing the BSOD once I chose to run windows normally (it runs in safe mode now too, which is of course the pre reinstall improved)

So I don't really know what to do at this point.

    Hello

Dell can tell you what the graphics device in the computer is so check with their support, their online
documentation and drivers and ask in the Dell forums for known issues. Check the model number
of your computer on the Dell Site for drivers - it should indicate the appropriate driver.

    ========

The fact that it BlueScreens when you try to update the driver could indicate there is something wrong
with the video device. Because it has a "Standard VGA adapter' this means that the driver does not load.

    I hope this helps.

  • Two s flv on the swf page, button full screen on every fact the same full-screen go video

OK, so I use CS3 to try to put two videos on the same page of .swf .flv, BUT only go full screen any button of the video for skin to go full screen I press, and all the rest of the buttons on the skin works for the appropriate video. I remember in Actionscript 2.0, in component for video settings, you can change the name of the field in the schema to play multiple videos in a .swf file, wondering if AS3 had a similar setting to the full screen.

    You are welcome.

  • left edge cut off games full screen

I am running vista with a widescreen LCD TV monitor and when I try to read some of my old fullscreen games he cut left and the top of the screen.  I have a GForce 8600GT with updated drivers and spin homebasic with the Service Pack.  Change the resolution of the computer and refocusing of the screen do not help.

    Hello StellaWebb,

Thank you for posting.  Since you're using a widescreen LCD TV, you could have buttons zoom or format on you TV remote.  We can try to see if changing it one of these option/settings of the TV will correct itself the image.

The display flashes INPUT: DVI when this happens, I tried to run the games in lower resolution, but that does not change. Is it something to do with the 64-bit platform running the 32-bit games? Or is it the settings that I have my omnitor on? Very frustrating, please help!

    Thanks in advance

I had this problem and could not understand what was going on, until I noticed that I had Firefox running in background. That and all my steam games starts and stayed until the exit. Hope that works!
