Gateway IP for WET610N

I'm trying to connect a WET610N directly to a single computer Win XP Pro via an ethernet cable. I do NOT have a router. I then allow the WET610N connect a Hot - Spot WiFi 3 G cellular. The WET610N default IP 169.254.1.250. So, I put the IP of 169.254.250.1 computers network card. Both have a MASK of 255.255.0.0.

Now, the question is: I put the Default Gateway IP to the computer and the NET610N?

There is no router!

I can't find an answer in the User Guide.

I ping the WET610N to the computer.

If I delete the IP of the default gateway of the network card in the computer, then I can access the Web Configuration in the WET610N. After you have configured the WET610N, he can see that the WiFi Hot-Spot from the mobile phone to force is 89% - Wahoo! So far so good.

But the computer cannot connect to any Web site - always the Site not found.

I enter two DNS IP on a map of network computers thw.

The WET610N and the computer was restarted, several times.

Computer can access the internet via a dial-up modem, when activated.

So, maybe now (after the SSID is configured in WET610N via the default IP 169.254.1.250) I need to...

Step #1 - change the WET610N in DHCP mode

Step #2 - change the computer NIC in DHCP mode

Step #3 - stop both devices.

Step #4 - restart the WET610N and wait for it to connect to the WiFi Hot Spot

Step #5 - restart the computer

I'll try that tonight.

Ok?

I hope that the DHCP WiFi Hot Spot will be IP & IP address of the gateway in the WET610N NIC, then the IP address and the gateway in the NETWORK card IP too?

In Netgear ReadyShare genius he shows as a USB device as possible. Who did?

Should I turn it off the network, HTTP and FTP connection?

Apparently when the modem/router auto updated the interface ademin for Netgear engineering he included options to use the USB port on the device to act as a storage location. • Is the blue wire for WET610N a standard ethernet cable?

WET610N and have put in place so that my Panasonic 50V10 can get with the internet.  In the adapter configuration instructions, I have to first do some settings through my router and then back to where it will be installed in the TV.  There is a blue 'look' ethernet cable provided with the unit.  Is this blue cable just an ethernet cable, or is it a special cable?  Reason I ask is that it's a pain to get to my TV and I would be able pre-install a standard ethernet cable into the TV (it's about 2 to 3 times longer than the provided blue) before actually hooking into the adapter.

Its normal Ethernet cable that allows you to interconnect your WET and the TV.

  • VLAN / VXLAN "gateways". For DLR or not?

    Hello

I'm asked about it for a while when connecting physical devices to our VMware NSX platform.

What are the differences by putting a portgroup distributed with the ESG as opposed to a logical switch (where a DLR is required to do VLAN / VXLAN bypass).

The first is not really fill (only for sending), there he sanctions the bandwidth?

Because the DLR instance is running on a host at a time, the maximum flow is the host. How is this related in regards to a portgroup?

I have a feeling that it might be better to use a DLR, since information is then included in the process of the NSX, but no hard argument.

    Any clue?

    See you soon

When you connect to a group of ports distributed to the GSS, it's like an uplink switch. When you connect a GSS to a logical switch its more like plug in an additional device in a switch. Logical switches can take advantage of the distributed routing features that prevent traffic through. That's why you'll see NSX with the GSE drawings connected to a logical switch of 'transit' and all other logical switches connected to the DLR.

The only way to fill a VXLAN and a VLAN physical is through a DLR. You can't really get the same result with a GSS. The GSS will have another segment of L2 on each interface while fill with a DLR will merge a segment a segment of LAN VIRTUAL L2 VXLAN L2. With the bridged DLR, you're right. You will be limited to the bandwidth of the host. You can over come this limitation during the delivery on the GSS using AREA.

  • default gateway for vpngroup

Is it possible to configure a default gateway in the vpngroup?

When I set up the split tunnel for my vpngroup, they see the web but no local lan access. If I remove the split tunnel in the config, they see lan local but of course without web access access because everything is encrypted at this time.

I did a ipconfig/all in the two scenarios and found that in the split tunnel, there is no default gateway specified for the virtual card; without split tunnel, the default gateway in the virtual card is the ip address of the connected vpn client.

Usually, the pool of VPN and the internal network should be two different networks. The best way to do it is by using a class C network.

For example: 192.168.1.0 / 24 for network access

192.168.2.0 and 24 for the VPN Pool.

Note that the for the Pool of VPN subnet mask cannot be set and is chosen by the network class.

  • Gateway for Sybase or MS SQL - support of Timestamp

    Hi all

Is it possible to get Timestamp of Sybase or MS SQL Server data?
I thought it would be simple enough, but after a short investigation I am more than optimistic...

The "gateway database for Sybase user's Guide" says in Appendix A, the following conversions are performed by the gateway:

    (Sybase - Oracle)

    DATE - DAY
    DATETIME - DATE
    SMALLDATETIME - DATE
    TIMESTAMP - GROSS
    TIME - CHAR (15)

He said the same thing for MS SQL Server.

What I need is a Sybase DATETIME in Oracle TIMESTAMP conversion, but I guess that there is a limitation of the bridge
and is not able to use the data from Ms somehow... Am I wrong?
Or maybe there is a magical setting in the for that .ini file? Things like HS_NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT seem to be unsupported by the Sybase gateway.

    I use 11.2.0.1 on Linux.

    Thanks for the tips.

  • Impossible to connect to the gateway SSL of the company site and program database after that upgraded 10.0

    Dear All/Admin/Tech,
After the upgrade to Firefox 10.0 staff of my company in Indonesia can not rained access gateway SSL for the web of our company and therefore cannot log on to our web database program.

In my tests, in Singapore (with the same ISP fiber broadband), I have the same problem.

Both Chrome and IE have no problem, but Firefox stops on error "the connection was reset".

Firefox is now super sensitive to the shift of site Web, allows no ports or y at - there some problem in which Firefox to reject Web page or program?

So far, that seems to happen on Firefox 10.0 and our SSL https web portal. What is good on all other browsers.

    Help, please.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Joel Li

I also have problems with 10 FF and Fortinet VPN.

It helped me a little... http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itprosecurity/thread/e6e8ada8-BC12-4f6f-8de3-1d3fd2ff4931

The problems seems to be in the Microsoft Security Update KB2585542, that TLS and SSL fixes. Apparently some websites that use SSL do not work properly because of this.

I had to disable the update of security KB2585542, then downgrade to FF 9.0.1.

BUT I don't want to remain unpatched and with an older version of FF. A way around this problem without downgrading?

EDIT: Just to be clear, even after I disabled the patch MS that I kept getting "the connection was reset" in FF10. Everything worked great until I upgraded to FF10 even with the patch on.

  • TestStand and Gateway requirements

    Hello

It is more a question of RG, but there is no RG area to post.

I have a Word Document that defines the requirements for a test sequence.

Needs are covered by the two

    (1) LabVIEW VI

    (2) sequence TestStand.

What I want to do is to see what is my coverage of the coverage of Word Documents.

I noticed that when I added the TestStand sequence for my gateway Req project, all entries in the TS document generates a "derived demand".

Is there a way to turn off?

I want to connect my word document to a place in the test sequence and to say that this is where I cover that is recording data. I don't want to link my TS sequence with a results file.

The annoying bit is when I look at the view analisys even if my Word Document is covered at 100% yet there are a number of requirements derived from the sequence of TS discoveries.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Maciej

    Maciej salvation,

    answer your questions:

    (1) connecting a TestStand sequence to a Word Document causes RG generate the "derivatives"requirement for each of the elements (steps or sequences) TS.»
I would like to cut this robot. I'm not interested in the requirements derived in this scenario.

"You can turn that they derive ar requirements shown by selecting view" derived from the requirements in main menu of th.  This will hide the requirements derived from the view and in reports that you generate.

    (2) Assembly of the desired structure

If you link the arrows of cover in the Middle, you can create a relationship "or", as shown below.  In this case, a requirement is considered covered when it is covered by one of the 2 on the documents.  The configuration that you currently expects that all THE accompanying documents have coverage for each requirement.

For more information, see the topic combining covering links in aid of the gateway requirements for more information.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • How can I connect Windows XP to several networks, Wi - Fi for internet and the other for file sharing?

On windows XP, I need to connect to two different networks. Free wifi for the internet and the other for file sharing.

Different gateways, different static address, same subnet mask. But there is problem when operating simultaneously and must

a network must be disabled. Is it possible to run simultaneously?

original title: served various networks simultaneously on windows xp

Go to where you have configured the static IP addresses for your network adapters.  Leave the "default gateway" blank for your local file sharing adapter and insert a valid default gateway for your wifi Internet adapter.  Of course, this will limit your adapter in a single subnet - which should be OK for use at home or small office to share local files.

This should work as long as the two physical subnets have two different subnet numbers. In general, this means that the first three digits of the IP address of the adapter can not be the same on both adapters - if they are, then you need to make one of the subnets. (i.e. one is 192.168.1.xxx and the other would be 192.168.2.xxx).  This is usually accomplished in the router configuration page.

  • Cannot access the Internet through WET610N to E4200

I have a number of devices which do not have the built-in wifi and WET610N allows you to connect wirelessly to the Internet.  It worked with WRT610N router, but when I upgraded to router E4200 to Internet access no longer works for WET610Ns.

Internet access works very well with the adapter wireless from my computer, but the WET610N tests on my computer port ethernet confirms unable to connect to the Internet.  Utility says Windows Server Troubleshooting DNS cannot be found.

Seems you have to assign a static IP address to each client using a bridge to connect wirelessly to the network of E4200.  You can have the IP address of the client in the list of booking E4200 DHCP.  The client will not have access to the Internet if their IP address in the DHCP reservation list.

I have a big thank you to Linksys support for not sharing this information.  Try to put the blame on the bridge wireless and then try to charge me support because my WET610Ns were no longer under warranty.
