geekbench64 vs geekbench32 results for upgrade processors r61 and r500

Hello

on the point to upgrade my R61i T2330 to T7700 (given as the best bet on most of the discussions) and Win7-64; When you check the scores of benchmark on the net I see that the Geekbench64 gives the T2330 better while Geekbench32 gives the opposite (see image). Any idea on how to do this?

(seen the same thing on the r500 T5870 vs. T9300 processor)

Thank you

AFAIK the T7700 is much faster. Look at the specifications, not points of reference.

    Hello.

I think you can install the drive and use your recovery disk to reinstall Windows.

You can change the hard drive of your computer with a WD one Pavilion, just keep in mind that you need a 2.5 inch drive. In addition, if your Pavilion model is dv6500 or more, it has a SATA-II interface, but you can always take a drive SATA-III and it will not work (although will run at the lower speed of SATA-II).

Here, you want to take a look at all our 2.5-inch drives:

    Apple says the following:

    General requirements

    • OS X 10.6.8 or later version
    • 2 GB memory
    • 8.8 GB of available storage

For best performance, I would say not less 4 GB and preferably 8 GB or more.

Your i5 is well able to support properly.

I would like to examine the feasibility of the upgrade of this laptop relatively inexpensive, 4 year old. I upgraded the

original hard drive 500 GB (Seagate Momentus TX) and doubled the RAM to 4 BG (Crucial CT1901113).

Most hard drive and the doubling of memory has made a faster system. Now the link is more about speed

I would appreciate any input, but only to a person who made this upgrade. I prefer not to go on the suggestions as 'you can try this' and 'or try this '.

Very important: what model of CPU you have upgrade to? Any suggestions where to buy?

    Hi 46scandalli2000,

Welcome to the HP support community! I see that you are looking to upgrade your processor. While I did not myself I can give you some information on this. On most laptops, you will need to replace the entire system (motherboard) card to replace the processor. However, in your model, the processor is replaceable. Here are your Maintenance and Service of Guide and on page 75 you will find a list of compatible processors and instructions to replace.

  • Results of upgrade graphics card for h50 - 50

Fiirstly Hello everyone this is my first post here and I hope to bring good news for some.

A few weeks after lurking here and the net for answers to improve the graphics of 4460 i5 H50-50 trawling, I saw pretty good few results for anything whatsoever on a nvidia gtx 750ti. However, I bit the bullet and got an itx gtx960 gigabyte card and corsair 500w atx power supply...

I can confirm that the installation went as quietly as any other system and im now able to game to a decent quality. Im sure other cards of the 900 series so much that they in good physical shape in the case should be fine.hope this helps...

Im not sure you'd be able to shoot 10 inches, even if you moved the hard drive. Good news but I can't do a mini itx gtx 970 gigabyte 4 GB which must adapt. Good luck

  • Upgrade processor for Hp Pavilion p6607c desktop PC

Hello. I have a desktop Hp Pavilion p6607c with an amd athlon ii x 2 220 processor atm and a corsair 500w PSU. I was wondering if I could switch to an amd phenom ii x 4 processor that stretches with problems or if there are all the other better processors that I could update. Only change that iv made about it is that iv added a Radeon HD 5670. Thanks in advance for any help.

    ERICO,

    This is clearly incorrect, as the original AMD Athlon™ II X 2 220 CPU in the computer of the OP is listed by AMD as an AM3 CPU. This is also confirmed by the fact that HP record page for the HP Pavilion p6607c desktop computer reads;

    AMD Athlon II X 2 220

    Speed: up to 2.8 GHz

    Number of cores: 2

    Socket: AM3

    Bus speed: 4000 MHz HT3

Based on this information and the fact that HP list updates for this computer include the AMD Phenom II Quad-Core and AMD Phenom II Triple-Core CPU, which both seem to be AM3 processors, I'd feel safe recommending the installation of a large number of these 95 watt AMD AM3 "C2" not to not UC and 95 watt AMD AM3 'C3' not to not UC.

    Please send Bravo

is it possible without changing the motherboard? Or with the evolution of the motherboard?

What parts with part numbers would be necessary. I know this is an advanced, upgrade but that doesn't bother me that I just want to know if it is possible and what are the references?

    S/N: {content removed}

    Thank you

    Hello again TechGirl76.

First of all, I took a glance to the HP part Surfer laptop page. This usually allows to see what parts are available for the laptop. If you notice, there is no separate "processor" section so that it doesn't appear that one processor was available and it comes with the printed circuit board.

Second, I noticed this chipset uses the laptop computer, it uses the Intel HM55 chipset. If you view page specs Intel here you can see what processors are compatible with this chipset. Now, it is important to note that the chipset supports it doesn't mean it will work in Notepad. This laptop does not have upgrade options and is probably designed for the processor, with which he came. It can even not able to properly feed a much more powerful than an i7 processor.

So, in your case it is really impossible to say that one of these processors would result in a successful upgrade without significantly changing the internal compenants. If you need to upgrade the processor try to pick one that is as similar as possible who would be more likely to work.

I hope it's useful. If you have any other questions let me know. Have a great day!

  • Upgrade processor E6500 QX9300?

    I have an E6500 with a processor T9400 (Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB).

I would like to upgrade to a processor which is a quad core or dual core with hyperthreading. The CPU only I see is even a possibility is the QX9300 (Core 2 Extreme, 2.53 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB).

The CPU I have is classified by Intel supporting BGA479 and PGA478 catches. But I do not know who has my motherboard.

The QX9300 only figure to PGA478 socket support.

Read on various forums, it seems that even if I am able to upgrade, I could be opening myself to heat problems.

OTOH, I also read that the E6500 is identical to the M4400 except for the cover. And the M4400 is available with CPU QX9300.

So, can someone tell me if I can replace my CPU with the QX9300? If so, it would take something more than just buying the new processor?

    Thanks for any help!

I have upgraded to my E6500 to QX9300 (from T9400) and it works well, but I can't activate 4 cores... There are always 2 hearts acrive for me. I have reference to the tests and the results are the same as T9400, as frequency is the same. Point of development at level has the advantage of quad-core, which is not available to me... I even formatted my HDD and reinstalled windows from scratch and that did not help. I attend to replace thic X 9100 CPU, because it it due core processor and has a higher frequency in these processors socket P family.

  • Upgrading processor on Satellite Pro SP 2100

    Hi all.

I have a portable Satellite Pro SP 2100 with a Celeron 1.5 GHz (SL6FN) processor.
Becomes a bit long in the tooth if I decided to buy a processor 2.0 GHz Pentium - SL6FK with 512 KB of L2 Cache. I did research on the index of processors intel and the CPU-World site to see if this processor would be compatible - it seemed virtually no difference, the same identification number, the same socket, but when I installed it all I get is a continuous beep on market and no Toshiba Logo.

I had to go down to a 1.8 GHz Celeron, which is a little faster but almost identical to a full blown Pentium.

There IS a version of processor Mobile Pentium 2 GHz of the SP2100 - I guess the harware would be the same, but I'm obviously wrong.
I tried to Flash the BIOS with the latest version, but without result. Is this a BIOS problem?
Perhaps the BIOS of my laptop with the SL6FN processor is not compatible with the new processor? And think - me a manager of network for 7 years!

    I hope someone can help,

    Alan.
