Generate a report and save it as a PDF

Hi all

Attachment VI I work on.,.

Here I am trying to generate a report by adding the chart picture in it and save the report in pdf format.

But I coudnt able to save it as a pdf.

In the path dialog box, even if I give the file name as. PDF, still i coundt able to print pdf and when I tried to open it became corrupt.

Please help out of this

I started on the path of 'save as PDF from the word' awhile, but I never got to complete the VI.  I think that you need to do is to use the "word get ActiveX References.VI" and document. SaveAs2 method (call the node).  You must connect an integer '17' to the variant "file format" entry.

I am trying to scan several pages (3 pages) and save them all in a single pdf. file.  But, the scanner scans a page at a time and save each separate page as a pdf file. file. I don't see any options in the settings tab for that matter.  How can I scan multiple pages and save them as a pdf. file?  Thank you.

    Hello

    Please try:

Double-click the icon of the printer on the desktop,
Select scan a Document or Photo,
The first page on the glass (face-down)
Check the options (size, dpi...) and select document Scan to file, (note: not more than 300 dpi).
Click on Scan - machine will scan the first page
Delete the first page on the glass, put the second page,
Click on + (plus sign) it is located on the left side of a red x
Machine will sweep the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click on + again... until the end and then click Save
    Click done after save

My computer updated 'Windows 10' I don't seem to have the ability to save a scanned as pdf document. The drop down menu does not give me option pdf.

The default setting is 'photo' and there is no option to scan multiple pages into a single document. It's really annoying because it was fine before and I do not know how to change the settings or even if it can be changed.

Hope someone can help me with this.

If you have not done so, remove the existing printer software, download and install the full feature software.

  • How to generate a report in text format

How to build a report in text format and send it to both a file and a printer?

    Hi Chuck,

Yes, it seems that the printed report and save the report to the VI file seen in the link above from smercurio_fc is going to do what you need.

Also, here is an example of our community that can be useful to print to the printer by default by using report generation,.

    I hope this helps!

As Malke said... also, if your scanning software does not support scanning to PDF you may be interested in Scan to PDF software ofhttp://www.softi.co.uk/ (I recently evaluated this software for use of clients).   It works well but costs $29.99, there is a free 30-day trial.  I have not found a free or shareware equivalent that works reliably.

  • Call and save the reports/export to PDF using use?

    Hello

My use is for the ".csv" files and works perfectly when read and load the files. But what would be really nice if I could somehow put the data in these files in their appropriate report templates and then export this report to a file '.pdf '.

    So, I tried to add:

    Call DataFileLoad ([Filepath], [Script]
    Call DataFileSave ([Filepath], ".") CT","CT")
    Call Report.LoadLayout ([the report path])
Call Report.Sheets.ExportToPDF ([path to save .pdf], False)
    Call Report.Refresh
    Call Data.Root.Clear)

«When I test the use by indexing a file manually, I get the message: Variable is undefined: «DataFileLoad»»

So, if it is reading as a variable that suggest that it does not recognize functions unless they are specified in the sub?

Is it possible to do what I want?

    Thank you.

    Hey Kevin,

Your VBScript use cannot be called "red" DIAdem orders  The VBScript host that uses the use contains only basic functions VBScript more some specific commands to use, but none of the rest of orders DIAdem.

You need to use a VBScript DIAdem script to load the data file, load the layout and save the PDF file.

  • BatchModel - 10 loops and save the test report after each complete loop

    Hello everyone,

We are using TestStand 2010 and currently using the BatchModel.seq for a quantity of 4 four DUT in a configuration of Burn-In.  Ten 10 times in a loop sequence of customer.  I wonder if there is a way to save the test at the end of each loop data report and create a new one for each of the loops after that.  Is this possible or I asking me too many software TestStand?  Thanks in advance for your responses to this last post.

    Kind regards

    Scott

    Hi Doug,.

    Thanks for the reply.

I will discuss with my colleague who had a hand in the development of this customer file.  This customer file has been developed mainly by a contractor who works for our client.  These sound options as they will do the trick.  The customer file is used to Burn-In, so there are three levels of testing at three different temperature levels.  We strive to find some possible bugs in the code to that contractor that blocks the client file and all data is lost.  This will at least give us some options of data collection in a way that we should not worry if there is an error during the process and at least keep some data.  Thank you for your reply and if there is anything else, with that we have trouble, I'll post again.

    Kind regards

  • PowerCli script to generate the report for the VM and ESXi model

    Hello

I'm trying to generate a report for the virtual machines to a domain controller that includes the operating system, Cluster and host of brand and model of ESXi, but for some reason any the ESXi info does not come through. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Get-data center 'TEST ' |

    Get - vm |

    WHERE-object {$_.} PowerState - eq "Receptor"} |

    Select Name, @{N = "OS"; e = {$_.}} Extensiondata.Guest.GuestFullName}},

    @{N = "Cluster"; E={$_. VMHost.Parent}},

    @{N = 'Esxi model'; E = {Get-VMHost - VM $_.} VM | {{Select model}}

The virtual machine has the properties of the host.  For your information "Model ESXi" use $_. VMhost.Model, $_ is the current information for pipeline for the virtual machine.  You did for the section "cluster".

    Give this one a try.

I have only a single sequence Recurse result list that you call your sequence of test report reminder.

    Hello

You use the database links in the report?

If Yes, then I suggest to create views select links from the database and use them in the report.

Also, be sure to apply the latest patch from developer 6i (#19).

When you save the report in 10g then the file format will be different.

It may not compile when you deploy in 11i system.

  • Long startup and save time for CF

Sound has almost 5-7mins to open my file FXP (file 256 MB size). I think Im running a machine pretty decent Intel Duo Core 2.4 GHz, 2.4 GHz with 4 GB of memory.

He has also take a long time to save the file - almost 7mins. And often the CF instance crashes with memory and Java null pointer errors.

I know this is beta version, but if you can give me some advice on how to reduce these long time will be greatly appreciated.

CF seems to save all versions of the exit in the fxp file. I had an fxp project where I did like 20 "export to swf. The FXP file size looked like 150 MB and open and save some time was about one minute. CF has also begun to bug a lot and have never spared etc. So, I switched to 'CODE' mode and deleted all previous versions. File size fell to 4 MB and the check in was fast. It worked for me.

  • Creating multiple reports of a report and record to hard drive

    Hello
We are generating a report through rwservlet

    http://localhost:8889/reports/rwservlet? myparam & userId = 4002

This has generated a report in PDF on the server in a directory defined in cgicmd.dat

Now, this report has been changed to pass the id of the company.
    http://localhost:8889/reports/rwservlet? myparam & companyId = 1911

Report has been changed to generate the report in several pages for each user of that id of the company.
I need to break the report into several files and save them to the server.

    How is that possible?

    Hello

To generate multiple files for a running reports, you must use the feature "burst":
