Generating a lot of audit to /oracle/admin/PROD/adump/*.aud log

Hi all

11.2.0.1

My PROD/adump/*.aud file generates a lot of newspapers, like 1 million + per day. I don't know what that the audit which lit.

The sys.aud$ is not also quickly generate newspapers like the/oracle/admin/PROD/adump. Why is - what the adump has more?

I tried to open the *.aud file and there this content only:

How can I stop this?

I already said it was not possible to disable it-why do you think it is called mandatory audit?

You can not turn it off. You can try to reconfigure some of these connections that use SYSDBA or SYSOPER to use something else instead, or write a script to delete the files of audit from time to time

  • How to check generating a lot of archivelogs/session of the user?

    Hello

On a 10g database, how can I get to the session/user who generates a lot of archivelogs?

    Thanks in advance,

For the currently connected sessions, you can query V$ SESSTAT (join to V$ STATNAME). Therefore,.

    select s.sid, s.value
    from v$sesstat s, v$statname n
    where s.statistic#=n.statistic#
    and n.name = 'redo size'
    order by 2
    /

    However, there are few complications:
    1. persistent Sessions will appear with very high statistics, simply because they have not disconnected. Many applications maintain permanent Sessions for one of
    a. follow-up and ongoing execution user submitted or jobs at the request (for example, in Oracle e-Business Suite and Peoplesoft)
    b. connection pooling
    2. the Sessions that have already disconnected will not appear in your report.

Therefore, you have to frequent meetings of "sample" and find that the differentials redo size. Then, another complication hits you:
    c. oracle reuses the Session ID. Once a session disconnects, another session of connection can get the same SID. He could get the same serial number immediately, so you might want to use a combination of SID + SERIAL # from V$ SESSION as your key (you will need to add V$ SESSION in your query of surveillance) even in this case, I would not ensure that the couple would not repeat after some time, especially with the restart of the instance.
You would be better to use AUDSID from V$ SESSION, that this value is incremented (and not reused) auditing session.

  • Support OFF-tas maps seem to generate a lot of garbage to insert... ! ?

I did a lot of caches distributed with cards support different landmarks. The results where partially positive (I was hoping that partitioned card support off-tas (splitting) would be almost as fast as a non split on bunch of support card). For different types of queries in reading and this turns out to be mostly true (some queries were slightly slower - probably because they when executed by partition).

For insertions, it does however unfortunately quite seem to be another story - already when using a card of support of NIO no splitting inserts seem to generate a lot of waste slowing the reference down considerably and when to pass a plan to support NIO splitting this effect became so extreme that full GC took place more or less constantly on the nodes of the cache slows down execution down to almost a standstill :-(

Has anyone else tried this and seen the same results or one of the developers of consistency have a theory?

To me it seems like network-io for off-lot (using storage allocated using nio buffers just as the communication buffers!) should be at least also easy to achieve without generating excessive waste as for heap objects, but since I do not know the inner workings of consistency, I can't say with certainty if there is something that breaks this theory?

For me the main covered advantage through the use off-lot rather than on the heap was REDUCED activity GC and shorter breaks, but instead of this, it seems that the result is the opposite - at least by making insertions...

My example does not use (or need!) and secondary indexes (performs only the get/put/locking/unlocking) but each entry is locked before being inserted and unlocked after (this is necessary for the algorithm that I use as a benchmark) - as I mentioned in another thread, it is a shame that no 'lockAll' / unlockAll method calls are (my reference suffers a lot of all calls remote lock/unlock)-load for this, however, is nothing compared to the drop in performance that comes from the whole GC...

I tried to adjust the GC in several ways, but this has only to a very limited extent reduced the length of breaks GC or the frequency of full-CG - it seems to me that as a LOT of waste is generated for a reason any...

The setings which so far resulted in any GC-overhead (yet terribly wrong though!) are - XX: + UseParallelGC - XX: + UseAdaptiveSizePolicy. I use 1.6.0_14 coherence 3.5 GE and Sun JRE.

    Hi Magnus,

You have reached a bug we are working on currently: COH-2495. We will publish a patch when a fix is available.

In the meantime, you can avoid this problem by specifying and the same in (http://coherence.oracle.com/display/COH35UG/nio-memory-manager).

  • audit of oracle applications

    Hi all

We have r12.0.4 installed on solaris...

Now the management request to audit all financial users, basically, they want
to know the user name, the log0ut, the transactions it did, daily activities.

Told them that this will be heavy on systems... additional need
points on the audit... the highest is possible thanks to audit?

    Kai

    Kai,

It is not possible to enable auditing on all users of applications and transactions that would have a significant impact on the performance of the system.

Enabling auditing on users of the application can be done by setting ' Sign-On: Audit level "profile option.

For audit data, it is recommended that you enable it on tables appropriate so that you won't have any measurable performance impact.

  • Generating a lot of archive logs

    Hi friends,

We have an EBS 11i on AIX 5 L... who has just been setup and ready for PSU... but the AppsDBA/Functional Consultant who didi it are not about more to ask some questions. I just noticed there are archived daily logs generated... like 30 balls... when in fact the request is not used. Are there concurrent programs

    Thank you very much

Not necessarily because of this simultaneous program. Your audit logs files is using LogMiner. LogMiner can be used to track any data manipulation language (DML) and instructions to run on the database data definition language (DDL).

  • To generate the DSO in Linux Box Oracle 11g

    Hi all

/ U01 is seen 30 GB and / U02 is to have 70 GB. I want to build a DSO in this box and install Oracle 11.2.0.1, and for this I need raw disk.

Are there useful links or can you guide me to achieve... My UNIX admin is on leave for the new year and I want to do it on my own...

    Help, please...

    Kind regards
    Aalami

You must use a RAW partition. You only need to create a disk partition using fdisk, and then you "mark" that the disk using ASMLIB (oracleasm).

    Sample:

    fdisk /dev/sdd

    Command (m for help): u
    Changing display/entry units to sectors
    Command (m for help): n
    Command action
    e extended
    p primary partition (1-4)
    p
    Partition number (1-4): 1
    First sector (61-1048575, default 61): 2048
    Last sector or +size or +sizeM or +sizeK (2048-1048575, default 1048575):

    Using default value 1048575
    Command (m for help): w
The partition table has been altered!
Calling ioctl() to re-read partition table.
    Syncing disks.

    Mark using ASM

    /usr/sbin/oracleasm createdisk ASMDATA01 /dev/sdd1

List of disk using the oracleasm

    /usr/sbin/oracleasm listdisks
    ASMDATA01

  • give advice on auditing in oracle

    Hi guys,.

    DB version: 10.2.0.4.

    Need some advice here.

If the ability to choose, you guys prefer (XML, extended) audit trail or (DB_EXTENDED)?

When defining XML, extended, audit files will be stored in the file system OS and DB_EXTENDED by which the files will be written to the table.

What's the downside for xml, extended? It take more space compared to db_extended and cause performance problem?

    Thank you

XML is naturally a more verbose way of coding data than a simple audit trail. That means a little more time and a little more e/s to generate. But XML is easier to analyze if you have some downstream process that consumes the audit data.

If you configure things properly, you can configure an external audit trail (XML, expanded or extended os) such as DBA cannot alter the audit trail. Data stored in the database of audit will be always subject to changes of DBA. If your audit is, in part, trying to keep an eye on what DBA do, storing the verification information in the database probably is not an option.

  • auditing in Oracle 10 g

    Hello
    Just a quick question,

I have set up auditing for the user of an oracle on Oracle 10 G:

    ANY AUDIT OF myuser BY ACCESS;
    AUDIT SELECT one TABLE, TABLE update, INSERT a TABLE, DELETE the TABLE OF myuser BY ACCESS;
    AUDIT PROCEDURE EXECUTED BY myuser BY ACCESS;

now, where can I find information on the audit? in what views?

    Thank you all,

Checking is not enabled on your database.

    you need to do:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET AUDIT_TRAIL=DB scope=spfile;

    THEN bounce the db.

Basically, here's the situation.  I create a game that has hundreds of armor/weapons which must be animated depending on the character's arms/legs.  So I created an animation for the arm and able to export it to a Spritesheet im.  However, I need to also generate sheets of sprite for all the other things that should be superimposed above it.  Is it possible to somehow?  Basically, I want to use the same animation for different objects and make them produce sprite sheets.  I need to always to do it by hand.

    Thank you in advance!

Read the explanation displayed above. It is a scripting language that controls "Flash Professional" and forces the application to do what you want. This isn't about creating a SWF file. This is macro writing who can export Sprite sheets. Macros can control Flash and make its engine allows you to do many things. It's like writing a macro in ' tap on the file, choose export, choose spritesheet, use this MovieClip for frames, export in PNG, do me a XML file with metadata ", etc... Who does not Flash, export of 'control' Flash.

Please look at the examples for more information. It will be able to generate this for you, if you learn the language.

Here I had an easy answer for you, but what you're trying to do is quite tedious and complex. Don't be afraid to look at JSFL.
