generating triggers composed on the basis of data Oracle 11 GR 2

Hello SDDM users.

Does anyone have an idea how to force the SQL Developer Data Modeler to produce the compound triggers on tables during DDL generation?

I saw that there was a similar question of 2011 on this forum.  At the request of development was honoured again?

Thanks for any info

  • The source of data Oracle (ColdFusion application)

    I inherited a ColdFusion 10 app including the rear end of Oracle 11 g.  Recently, I started to receive java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: [Macromedia] [Oracle JDBC Driver] [Oracle] ORA-00942: table or view does not exist error message when you try to access the application on my Test Server.  Since this is a request from the Government, I don't have a direct access to the CF Admin or the database.  The gov ' t SysAdmin has verified that the CF Admin connection is valid and connected.  The ADMINISTRATOR has verified the data source exists and the database is running.  Completely confused as to what is happening.   I posted on the Adobe ColdFusion support forum and they suggested that I post here to get the eyes of the database on the issue.   The thread is here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/6854985#6854985

    Thank you in advance.

    Always check and recheck the code before you say it's OK Thanx BKBK to find additional space in the data source.  I don't think that's the problem with the Test, but will check again.  Thank you.

    Yes.

    Look at the fourth example (below).

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Session time-out: is it possible to perform a rederict to a URL to be composed on the basis of a model session ARVS?

    Hallo,

    using this tutorial Fortune Minds - Oracle ADF: how to redirect to a custom page each time the session of delay in the application of the ADF? I implemented a simple redirect when the session expires.

    The real URL 'redirect' should be composed according to the value stored in a var to a managed bean sessionScope, but the problem it is that... the afterPhase listener is run after the session has already expired.

    Could you kindly advice me a wokaround or a different approach to achieve this goal?

    You are the only person who can assess your security needs.

    But if you want to exercise a positive security measures do not TAKE SHORTCUTS. This means put in place restrictions known on well-known objects and not grant on a table or an object and any grants a single user or super role.

    Aman and others have already said a good security refers to the compartmentalization and a rigid hierarchy. The objective of the implementation process and standards is not to make developers work more easier or faster. Yes - do the work correctly on 100 patterns and a large number of objects in each scheme will be tedious. You can automatically generate basic subsidies and coil them to scripts. But don't try to automate the entire process from beginning to end. That will leave large enough for a bus through security holes.

    Create a hierarchy in the sense of

    1. a schema at a time
    a. purpose of subsidies - for tables, views, procedures, etc. to a role. Best is to use a separate role for each type of object
    2 grant the role of schema for users who need

    Build small pieces manageable and controllable. Then combine these pieces into a top-level component. Not just make a huge mess of subsidies.

    Hello

    How to load matrix report data in the base table data using oracle Data Integrator?

    Description of the requirement:

    CLERK                       DEPT10                    1300
    CLERK                       DEPT20                    1900

    Thank you for your help in advance. Let me know if any other explanation is needed.

    Your list seems to be a bit restrictive, you can do much more with the procedures of ODI.

    If you create the new procedure and add a step. In the 'source' tab command you define technology and pattern according to your source database. Use the unpivot operator as described in the link, please, instead of using "SELECT *' use the column names and aliases for example:"

    SELECT workstation,
    deptsal as deptsal,
    saldesc as saledesc
    OF pivoted_data
    UNPIVOT)
    deptsal-<-->
    FOR saldesc-<-->
    IN (d10_sal, d20_sal, d30_sal, d40_sal).<-->
    )

    Then in your tab 'command on target' defined technology and drawing on your target db, then put your INSERT statement for example:

    INSERT INTO job_sales
    (employment,
    deptsal,
    saledesc
    )
    VALUES
    (
    : job,.
    : deptsal,.
    : saledesc
    )

    That's why you use bind variables from source to load data into the target.

    Obviously if the source and target table is in the same database, you can have it all in a single statement to the "command on target' as

    INSERT INTO job_sales
    (employment,
    deptsal,
    saledesc
    )
    SELECT workstation,
    deptsal as deptsal,
    saldesc as saledesc
    OF pivoted_data
    UNPIVOT)
    deptsal-<-->
    FOR saldesc-<-->
    IN (d10_sal, d20_sal, d30_sal, d40_sal).<-->
    )

    also assign the log count "Insert" on the tab corresponding to your INSERT statement, so that you know how many rows you insert into the table.

    I hope this helps.

    BUT remember that this feature is out in Oracle 11 g.

  • A full import by using datapump will overwrite the target database data dictionary?

    Hello

    I have a 11G with 127 GB database. I did a full export using expdp as a user of the system. I'll import the created dump file (which is 33 GB) on the basis of data from 12 c target.

    When I do the full import on the 12 c database data dictionary is updated with new data. But as is it already contained data dictionary? It will also change?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    In addition to the responses of the other comrades

    To start, you need to know some basic things:

    The dictionary database tables are owned by SYS and must of these tables is created when the database is created.

    Thus, in the different versions of database Oracle there could be less or more data dictionary tables of different structure database,.

    so if this SYSTEM base tables are exported and imported between different versions of oracle, could damage the features of database

    because the tables do not correspond with the version of database.

    See the Ref:

    SYS, owner of the data dictionary

    Database Oracle SYS user is owner of all the base tables and a view of the data available to the user dictionary. No Oracle database user should never change (UPDATE, DELETE, or INSERT) ranks or schema objects contained in the SYS schema, because this activity can compromise the integrity of the data. Security administrator must keep strict control of this central account.

    Source: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/datadict.htm

    Prosecutor, the utilities for export cannot export the dictionary SYS base tables and is marked

    as a note in the documentation:

    Data Pump export Modes

    Note:

    Several patterns of system cannot be exported because they are not user patterns; they contain metadata and data managed by Oracle. Examples of system schemas that are not exported MDSYS SYS and ORDSYS.

    Source: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e22490/dp_export.htm#SUTIL826

    That's why import cannot modify/alter/drop/create dictionary database tables. If you can not export, so you can not import.

    Import just to add new Non - SYS objects/data in the database, therefore new data are added to the dictionary base tables (as new users, new tables, code pl/sql etc).

    I hope that this might answer your question.

    Kind regards

  • Creating auto-generated pages of the order of the day with dates

    Want an easy way to create pages of 12 months of a value with a provision of model grid generated in Illustrator at the end.  This development has seven different days (different available calendar highlight each day of the week amongs other things) can someone tell me how to generate these 365 pages without having to individually create all these pages and gather the?  I have no idea of software wich or function would be better to create this type of document.

    Thank you

    There are two ways to link your list that you make in Excel to the identity document. One is to export the text list and place (it's a bit complex when you have so many masters) and the other is to use the data merge.

    If you want to place the text, starting with a master page that has a frame on each side of the spread (for pages face to face) to contain the dates and add any other information that will appear on all pages in the order of the day. Make sure that the images for the dates are threaded from left to right, and then click inside the image on the left with the text tool. Apply a paragraph style that includes 'Start in the next section' in the framework Options keep in the style definition. Master pages of basis for seven days on this master. Befor put you the date implementation of 365 pages list to apply the correct masters, then place the date list by holding the SHIFT key and clicking inside the frame of date on page 1.

    To use the data merge you need to add a line to the top of the list and put a name in what will become the label of the field, then export the tab delimited text (because I assume you have commas, but without tab in your arrival dates).  I make a master with only the date box and nothing else included (or start with no master) and do a one record per page, then AFTER the merger merger, apply the will find it with the other information on the correct pages. The framework of date box should not appear on other masters. Help on the fusion of data files are very good, but do not hesitate to come after read you them if you have any other questions.

  • The amount of data is generated in continuous mode?

    I'm trying to implement a measure of voltage using a card PCI-6071E. I looked at some of the samples (ContAcqVoltageSamples_IntClk_ToFile) that uses the AnalogMultiChannelReader to collect the data asynchronously and write to a file. My question is, if I do 2000 samples per second with 200 samples per channel, the amount of data will be generated? By using compression really will make a big difference in how much data I have to deal with that? I want to graph data 'real time' in certain circumstances, but usually save the file for post processing by another application. My tests can be run for several minutes. I looked at the things given compressed, and I didn't understand how I could read the data back and understand what data are intended to what channels and the amount of data belongs to each channel and each time slice. Thank you

    How many channels are you reading from?  Samples per second, is what will tell you the amount of data that you produce.  Multiply this number by the number of channels and you will get the total number of samples per second of the generated data.  (The samples per channel determines just the size of buffer in continuous acquisition, so it is not used to determine the total amount of data being generated.)  Each sample will be 2 bytes, so the total amount of data will be 2 * 2000 * number of channels * number of seconds during which your test runs for. From your description, it sounds not compression is really necessary; just save your files regardless the other format your program can read (text delimited by tabs, or any other common format files) and do not worry about compression, unless the size of your files become prohibitive.

  • How to compare the length of the data to a staging table with the definition of the base table

    Hello
    I have two tables: staging of the table and the base table.
    I get flatfiles data in the staging of the table, depending on the structure of the requirement of staging of the table and the base table (length of each column in the staging table is 25% more data dump without errors) are different for ex: If we have the city long varchar 40 column in table staging there 25 in the base table. Once data are discharged into the intermediate table that I want to compare the actual length of the data for each column in the staging table with the database table definition (data_length for each column of all_tab_columns) and if no column is different length that I need to update the corresponding line in the intermediate table which also has an indicator called err_length.

    so for that I use the cursor c1 is select length (a.id), length (b.SID) of staging_table;
    c2 (name varchar2) cursor is select data_length all_tab_columns where table_name = 'BASE_TABLE' and column_name = name;
    But we get atonce data in the first query while the second slider, I need to get for each column and then compare with the first?
    Can someone tell me how to get the desired results?

    Thank you
    Manoi.

    Hey, Marco.

    Of course, you can set src.err_length in the USING clause (where you can reference all_tab_columns) and use this value in the SET clause.
    It is:

    MERGE INTO  staging_table   dst
    USING  (
           WITH     got_lengths     AS
                     (
              SELECT MAX (CASE WHEN column_name = 'ENAME' THEN data_length END) AS ename_len
              ,     MAX (CASE WHEN column_name = 'JOB'   THEN data_length END)     AS job_len
              FROM     all_tab_columns
              WHERE     owner          = 'SCOTT'
              AND     table_name     = 'EMP'
              )
         SELECT     s.ename
         ,     s.job
         ,     CASE WHEN LENGTH (s.ename) > l.ename_len THEN 'ENAME ' END     ||
              CASE WHEN LENGTH (s.job)   > l.job_len   THEN 'JOB '   END     AS err_length
         FROM     staging_table     s
         JOIN     got_lengths     l     ON     LENGTH (s.ename)     > l.ename_len
                             OR     LENGTH (s.job)          > l.job_len
         )     src
    ON     (src.ename     = dst.ename)
    WHEN MATCHED THEN UPDATE
         SET     dst.err_length     = src.err_length
    ;

    As you can see, you have to hardcode the names of the columns common to several places. I swam () to simplify that, but I found an interesting (at least for me) alternative grouping function involving the STRAGG user_defined.
    As you can see, only the subquery USING is changed.

    MERGE INTO  staging_table   dst
    USING  (
           SELECT       s.ename
           ,       s.job
           ,       STRAGG (l.column_name)     AS err_length
           FROM       staging_table          s
           JOIN       all_tab_columns     l
          ON       l.data_length  < LENGTH ( CASE  l.column_name
                                              WHEN  'ENAME'
                                    THEN      ename
                                    WHEN  'JOB'
                                    THEN      job
                                       END
                               )
           WHERE     l.owner      = 'SCOTT'
           AND      l.table_name     = 'EMP'
           AND      l.data_type     = 'VARCHAR2'
           GROUP BY      s.ename
           ,           s.job
           )     src
    ON     (src.ename     = dst.ename)
    WHEN MATCHED THEN UPDATE
         SET     dst.err_length     = src.err_length
    ;

    Instead of the user-defined STRAGG (that you can copy from AskTom), you can also use the undocumented, or from Oracle 11.2, WM_CONCAT LISTAGG built-in function.

  • Data block in the procedure and the Base Table

    Hello

    I hava a form with a block of master and detail. The fields in the Master block are

    Emp_name, DateOfJoin, salary... I created this block with the procedure with a Ref Cursor, becaue the user
    want to load the data based on the conditions it enter for example: DateOfJoin < = Sysdate and DateOfJoinn July 1, 2008 "."
    SO I created a block of control with the fields name, MiddleName, LastName, of DateOfJoin, in DateOfJoin, the salary, and when the user clicks on the data loading
    button, I load the data to block under these conditions using the procedure.
    Note that in the Emp_Name table if a field, but contain first name, middle name, and last name with a separate space.

    My needs is, is there any method to develop this master block with a database table, so that if the user want to select it
    data based on other conditions, it can enter directly into the block of data using Qry enter and run Qry, also if he wants to
    Select data based on the top-level asked the search criteria, it will click Load Data.
    I hope that in this case, when the user selected the Load data button, I need to change the data source to the Type of procedure and set the source of data on behalf of the procedure name.

    Is there any other easy solution flor this

    Thanks in advance

    not sure if I get your needs. I understand the following:
    You have a block based on table emp, containing a DateOfJoin column and the user should be able to enter into a 'complex' where denomination.

    To do this, you do not have to base block one a procedure or ref_cursor. Two possibilities:

    Add two fields more directly in the block that are non-base of data-objects of type date fixed query on yes and let the user to enter a date range in these columns. In the accumulation of PRE-QUERY-trigger a WHERE condition by using the value in this field:

    something like:

    DECLARE
      vcMin VARCHAR2(10):='01.01.1700';
      vcMax VARCHAR2(10):='01.01.2999';
    BEGIN
      IF :BLOCK.DATE_FROM_JOIN IS NOT NULL THEN
        vcMin:=TO_CHAR(:BLOCK.DATE_FROM_JOIN, 'DD.MM.YYYY');
      END IF;
      IF :BLOCK.DATE_TO_JOIN IS NOT NULL THEN
        vcMax:=TO_CHAR(:BLOCK.DATE_TO_JOIN, 'DD.MM.YYYY');
      END IF;
      SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('BLOCK', ONETIME_WHERE, 'DATEOFJOIN BETWEEN TO_DATE(''' || vcMin || ''', ''DD.MM.YYYY'') AND TO_DATE(''' || vcMax || ''', ''DD.MM.YYYY'')');
    END;

    Another option:
    together, the length of the request of the DATEOFJOIN field to say 255, then the user can directly enter #BETWEEN fromdate AND fodate in the field.
