Generator Adobe and image quality

I have completed every tutorial I can find on the Adobe generator. I'm trying to understand the best approach for working on the images for a sensitive web design. I have a few questions. I use the descriptors of width and sizes in my html code and the last Photoshop 2015

  1. With regard to the quality of my images.
Am I better off starting with a 200px X 400px image and generate images of 50% or is the quality even though I start to 200px X 100px and specify 200%. I do not understand the resampling
  2. The text is resized in pixels or "font size" upwards and then resampled?

Are there tutorials (2016) current that are useful. I finished all references to the generator on Lynda.com and Sitepoint

More the pixel dimensions are, more quality. The reason for a lower resolution image to speed up the browser refresh. When designing, always working on the highest resolution and then reduce if necessary.

  • Adobe Muse image quality full screen slide show

    Hello

I have a question. What if I add an image to my slide show the quality of the Muse in my browser or adobe is worse than the size of naturally occurring? My image is big enough x 3400 and when it is exported to muse I see pixels and blur effect etc. Is it possible to do not resample an image quality in muse is an option to stay with the original quality?

    Hello

Slideshow fullscreen is currently implemented Muse is resampling images of hero to the size they are in Design mode. For most of the cases that work very well, but there is no easy way to force an image of higher resolution than the output. The only solution that comes to mind would be to replace the image after publish/download/export.

    I hope this helps.

  • The upgrade and image quality [compare the elements to Photoshop]

    Hello:

I've been using 6 items (yes I know, pre-historic) to edit and organize my photos. My collection of items has about 2600 images. Time to upgrade and I am convinced that Lightroom is the way forward for the organization. My question is for the Assembly. Almost all of my editing has been managed by the elements basic stuff. I wonder if I need the full Photoshop provided with Creative Cloud.

My first question is program Photoshop will produce a better quality in a picture if I did the same editing with my old Elements 6. There was an improvement in the image processing program?

    Notice please.

    Jim Rendos

    Hi Jim

Camera RAW is certainly improved, the come of great change with PV2012 (process Version 2012 aka ACR 7) introduced with Photoshop CS6.  Other changes have been made to Camera RAW, and Lightroom even more, but their impact on the image quality is zero (AFAICR).  Of course, you'd have the same version of treatment with the recent versions of Lightroom if you take this route.

The difference between PV2012 and PV2010 are noticeable in the shadow and highlight recovery.  Especially to hide him.  You remember produces bad artifacts setting shadows / highlights.  PV2012 allows you to push the bejazus from a RAW file while keeping things at least somewhere near sensitive.  I've always hated the shadows / highlights and could never understand the fuss people do about it.

  • Can I use Adobe Stock images (under standard license) to blogs and video games?

    Hello

After reading the license terms and restrictions that apply to the Adobe Stock images, I want to better understand some points before the subscription:

    (1) I have a blog, and I need images (often a bit modified, sometimes original) to illustrate my posts. Is a standard license enough to do without legal problems? Should I mention the author and source of the image under each of them, or can I just use them without problem?

    (2) I want to create simple video games, and interactive stories, and I need images. Can I use Adobe Stock images for similar purposes? What happens if the images are used in manipulations in order to create new works for the game, so that only 'chunks' of the original image are included in the final?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Best regards

    Enrico Maria Cestari

    HI Enrico,.

I would like to try and answer your questions.

    1. The Standard license covers items as long as the images are used for illustration purposes. Make sure you add directly copyright information on the image itself. The specific language for copyright information must be in the license agreement, but it must include the name of the copyright of Adobe Stock/artist.
    2. This has been covered here. Adobe Stock help | Frequently asked questions

Where can I use Adobe Stock photos, illustrations and graphics?

Adobe Stock photos, illustrations and vectors can be used in any creative project, including print ads, brochures, presentations, posters, book covers, advertisements, Web sites and annual reports. For the full picture, license terms, see "Stock Photos" under Section 1.5: additional conditions to http://www.adobe.com/legal/terms.html.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I could only browse files on my phone android app dc adobe in the folders of the gallery and image, but I could only browse files on my phone android app dc adobe in the folders of the gallery and image, but not the other files

    Hi Buckyball1982,

What version of Android phone do you use?

You have a built-in file Explorer or any Explorer third-party file installed on your phone?

If not, then I recommend you to install an Explorer of files on your phone and you would be able to browse the files in the Acrobat DC application on your Android phone.

    Kind regards

  • Color and the quality of the image information

    Happy new year

Digital images color corrections seem to be more and more important nowadays,

and as part of the workflow, I understand the relationship between the color information and the quality of the image correctly.

Photoshop CC IPC States that thereon:

Format JPEG retains all color information in an image, but it compresses the file size by selectively deleting data.

More compression, the better the image.

Does this mean that the quality of the image changes by the compression level (for example, JPEG), even if the same tonal RGB or CMYK range information is kept for the image in a file, regardless of the level of compression?

Unable to find information on this in the help.

Answers would be appreciated as always,

    EAD

JPEG splits RGB in Y of Luminance and Chrominance Cb, Cr

(by more precise nomenclature: coded inverse gamma numbers r 'B').

JPEG compression does not fear the lines of Luminance and Chrominance.

    JPEG reduced the number of levels of tones of the scale, less for Y, more for Cb, Cr nets;

mainly by reducing higher frequency components.

  • I'm editing in the bright room of Adobe and when I change in the develop module, I get the image I want, but when I see in the library module in its final State, it changed and degraded. Why is this happening?

I'm editing in the bright room of Adobe and when I change in the develop module, I get the image I want, but when I see in the library module in its final State, it changed and degraded. Why is this happening?

The difference between the raw edition photo and editing a PSD is that the PSD has black points and white pinned to the visible pixel values, the raw photo has still "headroom" with values of pixel darker than black visible and brighter than white, so when you export the raw file , there may be details that have improved (or obscured if it was another type of image) of the perception and mapping of the Compensation of the black spot on the final color profile.

This means not PS is better or LR is lower, it is enough for you to go to a different type of image.  If you don't have PS to do final Assembly, you can probably do the same thing by exporting the raw in a 16 bit ProPhotoRGB TIF file, re-import this TIF and then set it LR, possibly using the tone curve to make the pitch black dark areas.

  • Preview color management issue - glued assigned Adobe RGB image

I often web elements page layout in InDesign that my composition tool, then copy and paste in Photoshop as a smart object to then generate optimized web images. It's just easier to use photoshop. Problem, it is in the latest versions of Adobe have clogged the engine of anti-aliasing and now when rasterising a PDF file or paste a picture also as a chip oppose any portion of the image of this asset is smoother. You don't really notice that if the image of origin placed in InDesign is say double or more this resolution of the web version of final product, the scale hides the issue. But if they are closer to really see faceting full size occurs. Long story... anyway, I decided to study the implementation overview of Apple as a gateway for the rasterising instead of photoshop. He did a good job on glued assets resampling, but on this point saving and checking in Photoshop, I note that Preview assigned Adobe RGB profile to the processed image. Even if I opened the InDesign PDF and export as image in my size. My color workflow is sRGB. InDesign and Photoshop are two parameters in this way, the image placed in InDesign also has sRGB profile, the PDF has sRGB profile. If I copy / paste between InDesign and Photoshop, they are both aware glued Trump space and warn me if different from that of the target document. I have no idea where Preview becomes Adobe RGB, I don't see its place in the app to change that as a preference, and in any case, it seems very strange to be a defect when most of the people would not use them.

In the preview, click on the tools bar menu point and scroll to the bottom of the drop-down list to assign the profile

the next submenu you can click on and select sRGB at the bottom of this list. To save this profile to your image,

do a "save under" (click on file, press the option/alt key Save As should appear). You can also test under the view menu bar item.

  • Problem of image quality when you print the brochure in PDF format

    Hello!

I searched the whole web, trying to find a solution for my problem, but I couldn't find anything...

I created a vertical page A5 document in InDesign CS6, filled with high quality photos. Now, I want to print in a brochure (in PDF format) in order to save it and print it in a professional facility.

The problem is when I do this, the image quality turns out to be terrible...

I checked my print settings and I can not find something wrong...

Installation - A4 horizontally, and Graphics - Images - send data - is set to all.

Is there anything else I can / try? What can I do it wrong?

Here is a picture of my print settings:

    printsettings_ind.png

When I export the document normally in format PDF the image quality is fine, but it doesn't have the booklet layout I need, it exports all single A5 pages one after the other. If I try to print this pdf file as a booklet in Adobe Reader, the same thing happens to the images, they lose quality.

    Help, please!

    Thanks :))

Have you checked withthei 'professional establishment' as to what they want. Printers will not, in general, impose you the document. It's their job and they do it in a way that corresponds to the study and the equipment they use for printing.

That said, your problem with low quality images is probably the default PDF settings. Change them to something useful in Pringter in the Windows properties, or click the settings button in the print dialog box to access the driver from there and set them as you want. I'm sure that when the default installed PDF printer is 'standard' gives you the output of RGB 72 ppi.
