• Microsoft Works 9.0 font cache stopped working

  Whenever I try to open Microsoft Word, I get an error that says: "Microsoft Works font cache stopped working" has anyone else had this problem and if so, how do I do, I was on the phone with Microsoft today for about an hour and a half and they couldn't tell me something all they kept saying was that it was an unusual problem I'm very frustrated, it's their techs told me this! • Adobe Bridge search tool just stopped working

  I've recently updated to CS6 and everything was fine for a few weeks then all of a sudden the search in bridge tool just hard has stopped working. I have always used to search for keywords and it worked almost perfectly until today. I have thousands of photos on multiple hard drives and ive even tried their indexing without result. nothing works. I've used the search bar at the top right as well as the window search and still nada. I purged the cache, I rebuilt the cache and done everything I could think again about nothing doesn't. Ive google and google and google and found absolutely no help in resolving this issue. I have reset the bridge during the startup also to nothing does not. I even indexed specific files in specific folders, and did research directly to these files and still nothing. I don't know what else to try at this point. can anyone offer suggestions before that I have quit and all re - install the product (which I REALLY don't want to do)?

  im running CS6 on Windows 7 64-bit... and once again, it has worked until today. I have not modified parameters or changed everything I can think of that would have thrown off kilter bridge.

  Weird. Have you tried to reset the bridge (Ctrl/Cmd-click the icon)?

  Maybe the cache is damaged or unwriteable?

  I suppose that the index is created in the folder "data" cache, and it is the root of your problem.  As an experiment, you could create a new folder in a location accessible by well known writing on a hard drive internal and change the location of the cache in Bridge preferences (make a note of the current location first). When you restart Bridge, it uses the new location and automatically create a new cache index and overview.

  Then, try a search in a folder, to a known used keyword, making sure that you have enabled in the search indexing options. Let us know how you go.

• Eclipse plug-ins: generate ALX file has stopped working

  For some reason, the option generate ALX file is no longer works for me.

  OK solved.

  The problem was that the readonly (because of our source control) .classpath file.

  Now that I've removed the read-only attribute, generate ALX file works again.

• Rubber Stamp and healing tool brush stopped working

  I was using Photoshop CS6 modifications when the tool pad and corrector has stopped working.  The crazy part is that they worked just before they stopped working.  I restarted Photoshop without result.  It helps, I'm on an iMac 27 ".  Any ideas?

  See if reset photoshop cs6 preferences solves the clone stamp and healing of the painting tools.

  Hold down the shift + command + Option keys right after the beginning of the launch of photoshop cs6

  (you have to be fast while pressing the keys)

  Keep possession of the keys down until you get a dialog box asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop settings file

  Press Yes

  

• Why my PS CS6 tools suddenly stop working?

  My Photoshop CS6 was working perfectly last night; but when I went back to my project this morning, I was able to open documents existing and new start, but the only tool that works the box selection - and instead of double click to release the selected item, I had to do it manually. Also couldn't copy and paste once, until no longer works, as well.

  After the update (if necessary) and the closure of all open files in the window, I closed Photoshop... rebooted and found it not solved the problem. Also discovered A several new documents that certainly have been open and visible in the window earlier today apparently not asked if wanted to save before I closed... .so lost 2 hours of work.

  The only recent change to my computer has been adding software for the new Canon printer that I had bought when my Xerox Phaser has stopped working. (Since I was already getting WiFi via ethernet connection to the modem Time Warner had traded against the previous router (last year), it was easier to continue this topic rather than looking for a USB cable long enough to reach the box).

  So far I did have the opportunity to print a Photoshop document, but the initial test sheets printed without any problems. The only difference I noticed with PS after that installation, it's that the tools were in two adjacent vertical lists, instead of the previous single vertical list.

  I read the instructions to reset the preferences of the tool and although it reminded me how we used to troubleshoot our Macs years there, there are so many 'things' on my computer, I was hesitant on the withdrawal of all existing preferences to a different location where I managed to lose them in the process. However, I found their replacement in one annoying warnings.

  Photoshop preferences are corrupt often cause Photoshop to act and behave strangely.  It is also a common thing so then Adobe added shortcut to start that you can use to remove your preferences.  Photoshop will build it a new set of default preferences for you. So lose everything you preferences is really not that big of a deal.  However if you who worries about this, you can keep your old preferences.   What you need to do is fine, the record id user preferences are stored in your Mac and rename the folder.  When you start Photoshop it will create a new folder to store your preferences and create a set of preference files default to your user ID.

  It's probably something to do with the Brush tool. If choosing a brush "Preset" (not just a tip of the brush) is not set then reset the Dodge tool. Right click on the tool icon to the left of the Toolbar Options and choice tool of reset.

• Option-click on the Photoshop CS5 Clone Stamp tool just stopped working why?

  I am using clone stamp tool option and click on Photoshop CS5 on my Mac 10.6.5 and it stopped working suddenly on Monday.  He had just used Sunday.  So, I tried to isolate the problem.

  1. at the Apple store and my work as a keyboard and mouse is well spent on their internal systems running Photosochop CS5.  Problem still exists on the system at home.

  2 adobe photoshop suggested I go back to Mac 10.6.3.  I did and the problem still exists.

  3 reset all settings predefined in CS5.  Problem still exists.

  4. has spent several hours with Adobe Photoshop tech on phone - he could not operate it remotely either.  RELOADED Photoshop from scratch.  Problem still exists.

  Question:

  This could be a hardware problem?  Graphics card problem?

  Or is it a software outside of CS5 and Mac OS problem?

• Tool Menu stopped working in Photoshop CS6 Mac?

  Today when I opened my Photoshop CS6 on my Mac in OS 10.9, the menu of the tool not allowing me to select another tool by clicking on the lower right arrow in the toolkits. Before, I could click on, say the Brush tool and hold down to select a different type of brush. Now, nothing happens when I click?

  I tried the sacking of preferences, check my mouse preferences, etc. Nothing seems to be different, and yet this maddening behavior took over.

  Make a right click does the menu, but I much prefer the old way.

  Anyone encounter this problem?

  The list seems to have a time delay built in this moments I've seen does not work.  Right click the pop will usually towards the top of the list. Reset tools and preferences and restart is wort trying to fix the behavior

• Selection tool has stopped working

  I've been using InDesign CS6 for a few hours today and all of a sudden my Selector tool (arrow) would no longer work. I can always move objects by using the arrow keys, but cannot move them using this tool. All my other tools, from what I see, still work.

  The objects are not locked, and are not on a separate layer.

  I tried to reset the InDesign preferences manually (via the library) and the launch of the program. I also tried to replace these preference files with those of a co-worker (those we know work) but this causes a fatal error and crash the next time I open the program.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  The PSE9 lasso Selection tool is defective. When I draw a selection, I immediately get a message saying: "WARNING: WARNING: no pixel is selected to more than 50 percent." The edges of the selection will be visible. »

  It's the kind of message that I'd normally get when I select bad figures for feathering. But now the message happens when I use the lasso tool to select an area. When I hit Cancel the message, the selection disappears. But the drop shows that I can "unselect". When I do it and start all over again, I get the same problem.

  I quit and restarted PSE9 to try to solve this problem, but it did not work. Then I restarted my computer Mac, but it does not solve it

• Tool crop stop working

  I use Photoshop CS5 64-bit. Until two days ago, everything worked fine, and then suddenly I was no longer able to perform a function of harvest. I can draw the acreage, but when I hit the button ENTER, all I get in return is a gray-white screen. I am considering CS5 of deactivation and re - install the program. But before that, I thought I would post the question to see if by chance, there are a few hidden keys I could have hit to cause this dilemma?

  When you select the crop tool, check if it all input values

  in the width and height fields and press the clear button if there is.

  They are not the paint bucket tool or the eyedropper tool. It looks like the cc 2015... Edit feature of the toolbar was used to remove the pipette and bucket tool in the toolbar of paint.

  You can try to reinstall using the way complete three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

  (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

  (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

  (3) reinstall.
