George gtx745 4 GB gddr5 NVIDIA

I am looking for the complete specifications, can you help me?

Hello

The interface of memory on the HP OEM 745 of mentioned GTX is DDR3.  Look at these specifications.

----------------------------------------------------------------

I suspect that the power is insufficient for the HP Pavilion 500-317nl. A 180 watt external power supply would be too small and the motherboard as described is put into service for the standard ATX PSU.  There seems to be a break with this model and what has been documented.

processor 84 watts max

50 watts max graphics card

card mother watts 25 min

memory 4-6 watts

Port USB3 10 watts

3 PCI-E x 1 slots 30-75 watts max (25 watts for each 10 Watt card full height for card half height)

hard drive from 6.9 to 9 watts

optical drive 15 to 27 watts

I went to very difficult to leave my boyfriend to buy this pc.  First of all, that we now live in different countries.  I live in the United States and he lives in England.  We met on a PS3 game online called DUST 514 and played a lot of pc games together as well.  It is difficult to have to steal it back, but we're getting married soon and I'll come to England.  He needs a new PC for years and was jealous of my Alienware Aurora R4. So I decided to buy one that is still better than mine since it's even greater player I am . This will also allow us to play more games together .

Then I he wired the money and thought that everything would be ok, but you wouldn't believe the amount of screw - rises, that Dell threw on him!  They had even cancel a bunch of commands of the peoples, b/c, trying to control his spec-ed on Alienware has revealed a major screw-up affecting many clients... (Sorry, it made me delete/modify-this until his order passes through.  Dell representatives were concerned about what happened past.  I don't know if they told people that they had to cancel the real reason why orders and the possible impact on customers with currently Alienware Aurora...  I'll tell you what they have done after that his order is finally through.  Just a hint... inside your Alienware Aurora, check if you own to make sure that everything you ordered is actually there...)  He tried to do this for a week now...  I thought Dell was a little better than that... I knew they had bad grades, but really?...  In any case, it is a complete system stressed mess of it all back and on phone calls and e-mails with different people of Dell.  So I thought that, if it still manages to get the Alienware, maybe I can do even better!

He really should have an SSD, so I'll get a. He was talking and drool on the maps of Titan, so I'll give him two EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Superclocked 6 GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI - Express cards in SLI config! : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-06gp42791kr

I've never built a pc or tinkered with all hardware.  I want to make this even more impressive pc by adding an SSD.  I think I can install an SSD without any problem (I want the Samsung 849 EVO Mz-7TE1T0BW 2.5 "1 TB SSD)... Oops... I just thought of something... 4 TB SATA is actually 4 2 TB SATAs, put in place with 2 as the mirror...  I think that there are only 4 connectors for extension for SSD/HDD... Is this correct?  I have to replace one of the SATAs 2 TB with the 1 TB SSD?  What configuration I would define then the three SATAs 2 TB?  Would it be to say that he would have only 1 TB SATA? Could I set up so that it has SATA 1.5 TB (with SATAs split with half active and part of the half of the mirror for a RAID configuration)?  Furthermore, I have really no idea what RAID is or fact, just that you only half of total storage really active and the second half is as a backup in case of failure of a disk or something to avoid any data loss total... It is also the thing that I'm confused about that I don't know if it is also possible to install two graphics cards of Titan in SLI configuration on the micro ATX motherboard, I guess its Alienware Aurora will be, and still less 1 Titan.  Yes I know it is exaggeration lol, but the game is very important for us, especially since this is how we met.

Sorry for the long post... Finally, the MAIN POINT & QUESTION:

I have to install a different motherboard like the Asus Rampage Black Edition IV: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-rampageivblackedition in order to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?  If so, how this O_o...?  Also, I heard that there is a 'girl' Council that controls the Alien FX LED lighting and ventilation Active... How to connect to the new motherboard (if I need to get a new one)?  Also if I get the other motherboard (if this motherboard work with everything) this motherboard would have space for 4 x 2 TB RAID 1 + 0 and the 1 TB SSD SATAs?

    Please answer.  Thanks, ~ value

to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?

Don't know why you config-ed with two years 780 in SLI if you want two Titan-SLI but this guy did:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/Owners-Club/Alienware/f/3746/p/19512935/20402844.aspx#20402844

Personally, I'd keep just 780 - SLI, since the two configs end up being very similar to the performance. Either they're going run hot (in the game of max.).

just wondering if its ok to remove the mounting bracket that is attached to the graphics card to get the best air circulation

is it right in place for shipping?

    Thank you

    Hi there @junior19805,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that you ask a withdrawal of the graphics card of mounting brackets for better circulation of air.  I'm happy to help you with this.

There are a few problems with this. First support firmly maintains the card in place in its decision to maintain a good connection and prevent the flow of the socket. Second, although it may seem intuitive abduction, counter to the back plate of the computer can actually hinder the cooling system, as the positioning of various fans and admission of eaves, are often designed to channel air flow, so it travels on the components that most need cooling.

All that being said, you can always try it and see if there is an improvement in your case, but the possibility of a graphic intermittent connection is going to be a matter of concern

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • Graphics card for HP M9351.uk & Upgrade Ram

    Hello

I got my PC for 5 years, and even if it's still pretty much struggling, according to me, it's time for a couple of updates.

I want to check before you buy anything that everything will work properly.

My PC still running the stock Windows Vista 64-bit.

    [Features M9351 HP]

I intend to upgrade the with This GTX 650 2 GB GDDR5 nVidia 9600gs - will this work? I understand that this card requires no external power, but I worry that if the Q6600 and G33 chipset takes care of everything? Is there work / made with Benicia IPIBL-LB?

I plan to upgrade the RAM from the factory of 4 GB to 8 GB with four sticks DDR2 listed here, they should work?

I'm sorry, I'm completely clueless, but it's my first time upgrading a PC - any help is really appreciated.

    See you soon.

    Wtronic, welcome to the forum.

Videocard has to fit into the housing.  However, you should check to make sure power 300W (PSU) is sufficient to feed him properly.  You can find this information on the manufacturer's website.

At any critical time recommend memory it is guaranteed to work or they will replace it.  I suggest to put the old memory in blue locations and the new memory in black locations.

This is the section addition / replacement the computer.  There is a section for each of the components that you want to upgrade; Video card, memory and possibly the power supply.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • Blue screen (more of a gel to a blue screen) BCCode124

For some time I get random freezes, sometimes when the games, sometimes on the desktop with nothing open, sometimes when not in the room. Each time however, I am not greeted with a BSOD, but after a reboot, I get the blue screen information.

After doing quite a few search and replacing a hard drive, I'm now going to ask for help.

    BCCode: 124
    BCP1: 0000000000000000

    OS version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

The operating system has been installed in 2010, and I got errors for almost a year now.

    List of equipment of change:

    New HARD drive

    New processor

    New Wifi dongle

    New GFX card

The CPU is an ebay item and the graphics card was all new from Amazon. I started having problems shortly after their adaptation and they were the first hardware changes, I did.

The hard drive has been changed as one of the 2 discs I was using at the time began to fail and threw blue screens. As it is no longer in the system I can exclude this one.

I replaced the dongle wifi due to questionable wireless connectivity but it was down to the router that has also been replaced and works well again.

    System Specs:

350W POWER supply (it's one of the possibilities of the blue screens, I think)

    CPU Q8200 is not overclocked

6 GB DDR3 1600 mhz ram running at 1333 mhz

    ASUS P5E3 pro mobo (x 48 chipset)

HARD drive is a WD black 1 TB

1 GB gDDR5 Nvidia GTX750 (even if it isn't old, it's my other suspect)

    Win 7 SP1 Home premium 64-bit

I used the GPU, CPU and RAM, software and all tests have run for hours without any error or omission.

I have a couple other odd goings on too which could carry on blue screens.

I play a racing game works perfectly on a clean boot. I put into hibernation every night (no sleep) and after a hibernation (not all the time) hosting edge of pings for only one game but other games constantly low pings. After a reboot it works fine again.

Second strange thing, start another game works perfectly on a clean place and most of the time after hibernation, but sometimes short super slow (it is a child of 15 years not graphically intense game) and sometimes well running too fast.

My thoughts here are the drivers do not work properly and can contribute to accidents. All of the opinions and suggestions are welcome. If you need more info, just ask. I work in tech support for a living and it's confusing to me. I reinstall normally, but after 6 years its amazing how much junk you accumulate.

    Thanks in advance

It seems that the nvidia drivers cause the stop 0x7e error

I would uninstall CPUZ, its files are 6-7 years

This pcouffin.sys file is 10 years. It may belong to DVDfab. Update or uninstall. Old drivers can crash windows. Possible this file / program is causing an accident

This SCDEmu.SYS file is 6 years old. PowerISO. Update or uninstall. It's up to 6.6

It seems that daemontools has been installed? Since this c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys file is on the hard drive

Download and then run this option to remove c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys

It is possible daemontools or c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys is one cause of this stop error 0 x 124

  • Alienware x 51 R2 - 240W - graphics cards?

    Hello.

I searched for a new graphics card to replace my 1 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 for some time now, as the newest games is movie far the graphics "Runescape";).

I was overlooking a large number of discussions and even tried to contact Dell directly, get them to send me an email of the graphics cards that I have in my current computer. I don't however have specific answers.

So I was wondering if you guys could help out me :).

My current Alienware X 51 R2 is running:
    240W power
    A 250V EURO power cord
At 4th generation Intel Core processor i5-4430 (6 MB of Cache, up to 3.2 GHz with Turbo Boost technology)

    Now for the TL. DR

If I want to trade my 1 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 the best possible of GPU, which should go for?

The map budget is important, but I would not go there for a new power supply or power cord, if possible :).

A GTX 950 peut be possible, but it's up to you if you think it is useful to do since it is the most powerful of the four mentioned. AMD options that will work with the block of power SUPPLY 240 w is not a price: performance that the Nvidia GPU are or could be recommended.

If you have an "unlimited" budget, why do you resist wanting a bigger PSU (there is only one to choose the shape, and THST the PSU 330w for X 51 and Alienware laptops)?

  • Adobe Premiere using 99% of memory and freezing computer

    Hey all,.

I encountered a problem with Adobe Premiere use almost all of my computers from active memory. I use first very well for about two months and was in the middle of editing a video of 5 minutes. Usually, when I'm editing, in the Task Manager, he said I use about 4 k Mo of memory. Now all of the sudden opening of this project, I use 12 k Mo of memory. The project is delayed, stops responding and hangs my computer. I don't know what caused it. I have a laptop ASUS game that is more than capable of dealing with this software and it worked perfectly. Something to note is that all this happened last Friday, after that I updated the first. Any help finding this would be really appreciated!

  • XPS 8300 PSU upgrade?

I'll buy a 8300 with the following combination:

Processor Intel core i7-2600 (3.4 GHz, 8 MB of Cache)
    8 GB (4x2Go) DDR3 SDRAM to 1 333 MHz
3 TB (1.5TBx2) SATA RAID 0 (data striping)
    1.25 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce (r) GTX 560 Ti

I studied the 560 ti, and apparently it needs a higher POWER supply, which I believe is the power supply? I am not very computer in this area - how I discovered that the power supply of the computer above?  On another forum, they informed me that I should get at least 700w for the 560ti. They also said that it would be difficult to find a PSU connector. Basically, I would appreciate help in the choice of a power supply for my dell, based on what other Dell users indicate that they found worked well.

    Thanks, I really appreciate it!

I will repeat what I said.  If an option, such that the specific video card is available for purchase at the command, the system will work with any power supply is installed.   It was noted, on the Section of office equipment, new systems with graphics cards in commercial versions of cards that require a certain power supply power, however the version provided in the new Dell is a model of lower power needs and therefore works with the power supply provided Dell.

It is worth noting that, in most cases, Dell tends to underestimate their power supplies, so a power of 470 watts is more like a 550 watt detail or even more.

I have a Dell Dimension E510 desktop computer.  It has power to 310 watts stock.  I'm walking the CPU maxed out the memory, has added a second optical drive, added a second hard drive and updated the video card to a Galaxy GTS450OC video card and everything works without problem.

  • Hardware configuration required to produce the rotation, zoom, compressed AVI?

When I went through the tutorial of training I realized a video documentary of eagle nice 2 minutes without any problem other than take 6 to 12 minutes to make the video.  I seem to be able to perform most typical tasks without problems on my 16 GB, Intel i7-4600U laptop Toshiba Portege... until I try to treat and save (made) a video tour and zoomed.  Then he chokes.  I have concluded that the absence of a videocard (just chip on-board 16 MB) and the inability of the system to assign more than one Mo 1632 fixed the 16 GB of RAM for the treatment of "shared memory" video makes it impossible on this machine.

Q1:  What do need me for the equipment if I do this task several times on videos from 15 minutes to 2 hours in length?

Q2:  Is it important that the exact video card is listed in the list of Adobe?  For example. the best that can be equipped with a new Dell Precision 7510 is a w / 4GB GDDR5 Nvidia Quadro M2000M, but is not on the certified list of Adobe.

Q3:  With well equipped hardware, what interval of time you expect to return a video b & W which is turned and zoomed to 2 hours defined at1080 x 882, perhaps with the standard settings or high point, with a few section title slides and no soundtrack?

Q4: The video source is .avi, but I'd get better results in another final format of common usage?

    Here is more information:

Most of the video formats can I choose will produce instant errors and abort (with a message, something like unable to match source framerate), although using Quicktime with a release of GoPro, she produced a video. However, in spite of everything I could think of-turn off all but one monitor, shut down all programs, made replacement - the returned product gets roughly tripled in speed is jerky and repeats completely more than two times in order to complete the original video time-duration of the sequence. In addition, the rendering time is roughly the length of the video three times. Based on the comments in the training program, claiming that the render time will be quite a bit shorter than the length of the played video and the observation that my rendering of the training video is longer than time video game (maybe 6 to 10 minutes for the documentary of Bald Eagle two minutes?) This confirms to me that the absence of a real graphics card is a material limitation of laptop with no good workaround.

The approved list of impacts is more if the GPU acceleration works or not with CC. It is simply the list of tested cards. A 970 M or 980 M Nvidia GPU would give you the best performance in the Mobile World for Adobe's GPU acceleration at this stage for the money. The mobile maps equivalent Quadro would Quadro M4000M example for the 970M. Codecs affect significantly the performance of the GPU acceleration and hardware that you need to run it. Go Pro codecs are very complex and take a significant treatment. Convert into something like DNxHD or DNxHR may allow the media to work much better on the equipment that cannot handle the media Go Pro natively. Ideally, you want a Quad Core i7 Mobile CPU with HT and 32 GB of ram. A Quad core without HT only you will give 4 threads so complex environments as Go Pro will really struggle on the laptop. Any Nvidia GPU with more than 1 GB of vram will work. However, the 970M is the sweet spot for most of the workflows in 1080.

    Hello

Yes, all 4 USB ports on the USB3.0 is mine. With my HDMI cable, I don't have to replace it, and on all other computers, it worked fine. On the Alienware, the HDMI port itself which is a pain, as it does with external monitors and televisions, unless I give him a strength, it will not detect.

  • Red screen to login screen

This question has been asked before, but it's not like he has an available answer and the thread was closed:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/Owners-Club/Alienware/f/3746/t/19464900.aspx

Just after passing through the boot process, and seconds after the windows logon screen when the blue background appears, my Alienware X 51 decides to change the screen to a bright red color.  As shown below:

At this point, Dell has replaced the motherboard and video card in the system.  For reference, it executes this graphics card: 1.5 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660.

Dell support team has determined that, after replacing the motherboard and graphics card, the next place to solve problems is the software package.  Rather than a real investigative work, they want just back me everything and reinstall windows 7 to see if it is the cause of the problem.  They do not know what is actually wrong, they used the term "will probably fix" and I don't want to lose several nights trying everything back up, reinstall windows and then restore all my files if there is a simpler solution run.

Has anyone else had this problem before?  Is there a driver, piece of software, etc., that is causing the problem?  I use the DVI connection for both monitors.  This problem seems not to occur when we run in Mode safe mode with networking.

Thank you for your help and your time.
    grumble84

I was able to find a solution to the problem.  Instead of looking for the forums dell or relying on their technical support team for help, I searched on Google and Nvidia environment for similar problems with my specific graphics without X 51 in the search field.  It turns out a number of useful results.

I started in safe mode and uninstalled all drivers related to the graphics card from Nvidia.

Dell support website has v 311.06 (update: 21/03/14) available on their website.  Instead of download and reinstall this driver (as the support team has done 10 x in a row... shocking, it didn't still work after the 10th reinstalled...  Also either incidentally, my USB 3.0 ports stopped working the previous week, which was also their solution up to 76 minutes after the call, they admitted that the ports were not working) and I went to the Web of Nvidia site directly and grabbed the latest version of their software.  Available here:

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/77224/en-us

It is the 340.52 version and was released in July 2014.

After you install this version on 8/8, I did have a problem with the computer since.  It was not a red death screen since the driver reinstall and I am convinced that the problem has been resolved.

It does require me to all my backup files.  Or find the discs re - install and serial #s for MS office, etc.  It was resolved after an hour or two of help forums to search on google and nvidia.  If the initial Dell support analyst had tried that instead of wasting 2 hours of my time on the call, 3/4 hours of my time waiting at home for 2 visits in person of their 3rd tech team left, it would have saved us all hours and he would have spared their money long term.

Please reach out if someone else has the same problem and I'm happy to walk you through the solution currently working for my X 51.

    Thank you

  • Graphics card problems: Alienware Aurora R4

    Hello

Today, I tried to install a new 770 GTX graphics card in my system, replacing the 1 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 555 I had initially installed in the system, the graphics card by default. Having no experience with computers, I talked to my friend who gave me the correct warnings to recognize with respect to electrostatics.

I followed this official video on YouTube and came out of my old graphics card and replaced it with my new. When I started the computer, Alienware logo appeared (with messages you can press F2 or F12) before turning into a black screen with a flashing icon of cursor/underscore (_) in the upper left corner. No key worked.

Then I tried to replace it with the original graphics card, that had the same issue - but I noticed the blinking cursor was slightly further away from the upper-left corner of the other graphics card. Even if there is a difference, however, neither worked.

Given that the system has two PCI Express slots, I pulled the screws for metal which has blocked the second and tried to move the GPU. Yet, I was getting the same error.

After having looked up, some said they had the same problem (on the YouTube comments for linked above video), as well as vary the technical support forums. An answer to this is that the motherboard had blown perhaps. To test this logic, I took the charger for my mobile phone and plugged into a USB port on the computer... the phone has started to load.

The BIOS does not seem to load, I tried the keys so many times. I contacted ASUS, who did the graphics card, but they do not seem to know, either. This is literally my last resort.

    Thank you.

Hello. I have what I believe, it's a very simple question, I want to just make sure before I invest the money.

Can I use any card Nvidia GTX 780 on my Alienware Aurora R4? In my opinion, there are different brands (Asus, EVGA, Gainward, Gigabyte) and I wonder if this would work ok. Are there significant differences between those marks and, if so, which do you recommend?

My current characteristics are exactly the same as the original poster:

    Thank you!

With 875 watt PS, it should work.

Most of the eVGA cards have lifetime warranty (exact model of watch no./SKU you buy actually). I would buy eVGA.
