  The problem you have is that you try to mix items that don't go together.

  As you have already determined, you can have a script for users to query with access to business areas, and you can also have a script for queries users who access or own reports. However there is no link between the districts and business reports.

  Discoverer reports are validated against the records, not business districts. If a report uses 2 files and there are 10 industries that contain these files what industry do you that the report has been written against? The answer is none of them. You just happened to have a business district that is open at the time the drafting of the report, but frankly you might have used an any of them. Therefore, if a user opens a workbook that uses the files found in several business sectors, discoverer by default to the first business district name that contains all the files used and the user has access to.

• Unique firefox profile all users and profiles on networks

  I am trying to configure Firefox like standard browser for an entire building, and this framework is to ensure that all firefox profiles are registered readers personal network rather than local machines. I can use the Profile Manager to do this on a user base, but what happens if I want that all users of any machine, using the same firefox profile that points to a specific network drive? (This will ensure users always have their browser settings and no matter where they go, allow us to move outside machines without losing all the browser settings, etc..) The contents of this drive is specific to the user account, but still have the same way.)

  As far as I know, the profiles created in the Profile Manager are specific to each user (domain), which would mean a lot of creating manual profile. Is it possible to ensure that Firefox always uses a specific profile of Firefox or the path? Is it possible to have the control of firefox profiles exist (in a .bat file, for example), so I can create the appropriate injector if necessary? Can I use a command line to set the profile to be used by default, or that can be done from the GUI Profile Manager?

  Finally and this can justify a separate query, but I found that when you use profiles that link to a network drive, trying to open firefox on multiple computers will fail (another instance of firefox is open, close it or restart). I can tell Firefox to force the old instance closed, or I have to firefox.exe - no-remote 'differentProfile' Pei each time?

  Sort of. I don't always have a perfect method to check the presence of a profile, but as a solution, I'm looking in the drive location of my custom profile for prefs.js Server (IF EXISTS 'path\path\Firefox\prefs.js' (thing do)), and that will at least tell me if I have created something here or not.

  For everyday use, you should use the profile of 'owner '.  All your documents, music, images and other data must be different subdirectories to the title of owner.

  I upgraded from PSE6 to PSE13.  PSE6 on my old computer and PSE13 on my new computer.  I did a backup of the catalog PSE6 on an external drive.  Then I restored the catalogue PSE6 to my external hard drive at a location on my new hard drive and made my conversion catalogue 13.  I got a new catalog name is-1 extension in the location custom in my Catalog Manager.  I then left the new catalogue - 1 "custom location" to "Catalogs available to all users" because I didn't know that he was wrong in this catalogue.  When I moved the catalog "Catalogs available to all users" I have lost my catalog.pse13db file.  He is no longer on my hard drive.  It was not on my external drive is (I thought it would be there but checked even when not).  Why my pse13db disappeared and where at - it go?  There must be somewhere on the closing and reopening of PSE13 I'm able to open my new catalog-1 'catalogues available to all users "?  I don't think I'd be able to do unless he has been pulling the catalog.pse13db?

  By default, the default location for the catalogues (available to all users) is a "hidden" in Windows Explorer folder. To be able to see the 'catalog.pse13db' file in the catalog folder, you must set Windows Explorer to show hidden folders and files.

• I want to merge 2 Thunderbird profiles into one, if I get all emails and address book.

  I got a new PC and installed Thunderbird on it on 1 April and sent e-mails again. Then, I went back to the old PC and did a full back up all of my book e-mail and address. When I installed the back upward on the new PC I don't see new emails as well as the 'old' or the address book. How to merge back to the top with the current data so I see all of my old and new emails and two address books?

  Did you export address books or access the profile folder and copy the .mab files? Are - what you are talking about "Personal address book" and "Collected addresses" or others that you have created?

  Currently, what do you see? Can you only see the old imported stuff or only new emails?

  How many profiles you have in the folder Profiles? You have more than one?
  A default profile name will be letters and numbers, for example: abc1d234.default and usually located here:

  Copy the file *.pcv on the desktop on the new computer.
  Install Mozbackup on new computer and use it to restore the old profile on new computer. Then use ImportExporttool to get stored in Thunderbird .eml files.

  MozBackup tool should move the default address books, but the other address books can must be exported in form of files LDIF or .csv files and then imported into the new profile on the new computer.

• Get all users of virtual machines

  I have an environment where users get added and removed from the VMs quite frequently and I was looking for a way to get a list of what users are assigned to which VMS, preferably in csv or other delimited format that I can use for import into another program or a spreadsheet to help in the followed this and I think I can use PowerCLI for this , but for the life of me cannot figure out how. Here's a quick example and dirty that I would like to reach:

It could be the cable has been pinched or crushed, but moving the screen back and fourth usually changes the display if it is the problem (the exception is if a thread has completed severed).  The inverter blackens usually just the screen when it fails. This leaves us with the screen is probably bad.  Try laptopscreens.com.  They have videos on how to replace the screens and I believe they offer a service installation.  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP customer care and try to get a replacement or repair order.

• Difference between built in Admin users and assigned to the Administrators group.

  I'm trying to use a printer on Remote Desktop Services OPOS driver.  My computer is Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 64-bit.

  If I remote as the built in Admin, driver utility works correctly.  IF I log in as a user assigned to the Admin group I have error claim OPOS.

  You can create a view with two copies of the users table: one for the parameter (the original user, you intend to provide run-time) and one for all users in the two
  (a) in the same Department, or,
  (b) any Department, if the user is an administrator

  CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW  p_users

  You can use the view like this:

  SELECT       *

  The above query returns all users in Group 1, because jsith is in Group 1, but is not an administrator.
  Change 'jsmith' to 'brogerson' and you get everybody, because brogerson is an administrator.

  This assumes that each user is member of a group.

  If you create a namespace SYS_CONTEXT to contain the parameter (the target user name), then you could build the setting in the view:

  I need to migrate groups, users and their configuration information from one application to another application with dev server itself. Can someone tell me how can I do this using LCM. I'm getting confused in the options available under applications-> Foundation groups-> Shared Services in LCM.
  There are many options available as the native directory
  Groups a) (b) users) c d) Native directory roles->-> assigned roles planning-> "App name".
  
  So, what options to choose to migrate groups, users and their configuration information.
  
  2ndly the application names are different because they are on the same server. In what files I need to change the name of the application (files will be created just by making export FCL like Group.csv etc)
  
  I'm working on 11.1.1.3 version. My requests are classic planning apps.

  It is possible to copy the provision by right-clicking a Shared Services planning application and select "Copy Provisioning" and then select the application to copy the commissioning to.

  If you want to do through LCM > Foundation > Shared Services > native Directory > planning > PlanningAppName

  ExportSecurity/ImportSecurity planning utilities are only for export/import of planning permissions.
  This can be done using LCM > select the planning application > Security > access permissions

  How do you remove completely 150 phones and their associated DNs? All phones are in the same pool of device. I prefer the way bat.

  The CUCM version: 8.6.2

  Type of phones: 7962 phones - associated with the same device pool.

  Other questions: is there a way to remove all phones and their associated DNs with elegance when all phones are associated with the same mass of device? I rather not work with extensions and MAC addresses.

  Using the BAT, it will take 2 - passes. 1 for unassigned phones and 1 for "DN". This is well illustrated in the attached doc;

  I don't think that there is a way to make the groups and users to the AD, and I wouldn't.

  You need to connect the next AD system and pull on the users and groups in this way.
