Get code error 0x0000007a blue screen
Original title: BSOD appearing a slow system and many
My laptop has suffered hard drives error when upgrading from Ubuntu to Windows that caused its not at startup (Boot animation) kept moving forward. I left him a little and he started working, but the system is really slow and crashes / freezes a lot. Sometimes I get BSOD, especially when playing in League of Legends, but it happens at other times. I had to replace the hard drive I got BSOD whenever it starts before that. I have Ubuntu on top I could do memory check in with her. Maybe its windows have not got enough memory or Cache
Computer
Toshiba Satellite L300-29W
Windows 7 Ultimate + Ubuntu

2 GB of Ram
A few error logs
The shadow copies of volume C: has been abandoned due to a failure of e/s on the C: volume. (I had a few of these)
The driver has detected an error on \Device\Ide\IdePort0 controller. (I had loads of these - I mean loads)
Windows Disk Diagnostic detected abnormality S.M.A.R.T. disk WDC WD1600BEVT - 22ZCT0 ATA Device (volumes C:\). This disk can fail; Back up your computer now. All data on the hard drive, including files, documents, pictures, programs, and settings can be lost if your hard drive fails. To determine if the hard drive should be repaired or replaced, contact the manufacturer of your computer. If you can't back up (for example, you have no CD or other backup media), you must shut down your computer and restart when you have the support of backup available. In the meantime, do not save critical files on this disc. (I got this before he started working again)
The computer was restarted after a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007a (0xc0000185, 0x1f56e8c0, 0xc044a288, 0x89451f88). A dump was saved in the: C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP. Report ID: 073013-12620-01. (0x0000007a was what was on APC as well)
Don't forget to download any other DMP files (especially those running auditor)
If you are overclocking reset all default before running these tests.
In other words STOP! If you don't know what it means that you're probably not
1 - Memtest.
Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Get it here
Boot from the CD and let it run at least 5 or 6 passes.
Remember, anytime Memtest reports errors, it can be bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.
Test the sticks individually and if you find a good, test it in all slots.
Any error is indicative of a memory problem.
If a well-known stick fails in a slot of motherboard, it's probably the slot.
2. Driver Verifier
Using Driver Verifier is a dubious proposition. Most of the time it will crash and it will tell you what is the driver.
But sometimes it will crash and will not tell you the driver.
Sometimes it will crash until you can connect to Windows. If you can't mode without failure, then you will have to resort to editing the registry offline to disable driver verifier.
I suggest that you first back up your data and make sure you have access to another computer so you can contact us in case of problems.
Then do a system restore point (so you can restore the system using the functionality of Vista/Win7 Startup Repair).
Here is the procedure:
Click Start and type "auditor" (without the quotes) and press enter
Select 'Create a custom settings (for code developers)' and click 'Next' (or Type "check/standard/all" (without the quotes) If you want to check each of them (this will slow down your computer))
Select the entire document except for "Low resource Simulation" to win 8 do not check concurrency stress test and the verification of the conformity of DDI, click "next".
Select "Select driver names from a list", then click "next".
Select all drivers that are NOT provided by Microsoft, and then click "Next".
On the next page, select "Finish".
Restart the system and wait as he crashed to blue screen.
Continue to use your system normally and if you know what are the causes of the crash, do it several times. The objective here is to get the system crash because Driver Verifier is stressing out the drivers. If it is not planted for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation.
If you are unable to Windows because it crashes too early, try safe mode.
If you can't mode without fail, try to use the system from the installation DVD restore to bring the system back to the previous point of restoration that you created.

my computer turns off, no code error, no blue screen
my computer restarts auto no code error, no blue screen, it might be the drivers that I have installed or? What can I do to solve this problem or found out how to solve this problem
Hello Shelly,
Drivers could easily be the cause - or it could be quite a few other things.
I recommend a restore of the system to a restore point before you did what you did (when it was working fine). If you use Windows 7, seehttp://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, seehttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, seehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084. Sometimes this simple process made the rounds and sometimes that doesn't help - but it is easy and worth if she has recently begun.
Good luck!

Hello jvecc,.
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.
This problem is caused by a defective unit or a device driver. Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or see if AMd drivers directly will work for your hardware configuration and then uninstall and reinstall your drivers.
Hope this helps Chris.H

Original title: in my desktop screen. the BSOD appeared...
Hello everyone,
While to my desktop screen (don't remember if I was doing anything however), the BSOD appears, indicating the system stopped to avoid any damage occurs.
The following was then shown (exactly as you see):
STOP: Ox0000000c5 (Ox00000002, Ox00000001, Ox00000004, Ox805515A1)
Then a memory dump has been launched.
The only way to get rid of the blue screen was to unplug the computer from the power source, then turn it back on. After reboot, "error reporting box" appears asking if I wanted to report this error to Microsoft I did), then closed the box. Almost immediately after, the computer I connected to the Internet to a site that says "Microsoft error report" in the upper left corner of the screen.
Then, there was some additional information about the page displayed on some system functions in my computer does not. I was directed to click on a link to the so-called "Roxio...? & then asked to download, "Pxengine 4_18_16A.exe. (Provided by Sonic Solutions, version 1.13.37.0, created on 20/07/2009).
This is now a 5th time a blue screen appeared during 5 days. This time, the only difference is in the codes and being redirected to the page described above to download something I've never heard of and have no idea of what it is supposed to do.
I would appreciate any information that someone has just what it is. I'm simply puzzled.
Thank you very much in advance!
Hello
1. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
2 do you have software Roxio installed on the computer? If so, then Uninstall the software and check.
You can also check if the problem persists in the clean boot state.

Error 0x0000007B blue screen VM boot with 32-bit Windows 2003 using VMware Converter 4.0
Error 0x0000007B blue screen VM boot with 32-bit Windows 2003 using VMware Converter 4.0
I want to create a virtual machine using VMWare Converter 4.0 from an Acronis True Image to ESXi Server 3i .tib backup file. The conversation seems to be working, but when I try to start the virtual machine, it begins to start, displays the Windows 2003 splash screen briefly and then fails with a blue screen with the following error:
STOP: 0X0000007B (0XFFFFFADFD520F3C0, 0XFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0 X 0000000000000000, 0 X 0000000000000000)
Looking through the forums I've seen this error mentioned with 64-bit Windows 2003, but no mention of 32-bit?
Any help much appreciated.
THX
> Thanks, unfortunately the .tib Acronis True image files do not work with Converter 3.0.3
You already have a virtual computer that start - it's just bluescreens - so no need to run the full convert again.
Juist use Converter 3.0.3 to configure the virtual machine - part seemed to have failed

I can't get into xp. a blue screen appears with the 0x0000007e error code
I went to a blue screen. Can I make the Windows/sysrem22/hal.dll file is missing or damaged. I made a copy of the file on a CD from another computer, but I don't know how to load it on my desktop computer. It doesn't work in either safe mode. I hope that if I can get this file copied to my desktop, everything will be OK. Help, please. Jon
Hi jon56b,Follow the steps listed in the article given below to resolve this issue:For error "hal.dll is missing or corrupt", you can consult the following article: -
Error on blue screen 0 X 0000008 codes #, 0XC0000005, 0XE14DCEB3, 0XB07C2B74
I got a blue screen with the following error codes: 0 X 0000008 #, 0XC0000005, 0XE14DCEB3, 0XB07C2B74 and 0x00000000. Where do you find these codes on Microsoft? What they mean and how to fix?
I have links to error messages (and the Microsoft articles) here: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html
The first number/letter combo is the STOP error code, while the 4 series of numbers/letters below are the parameters (which tell us a bit more - as 0xc0000005 is a memory access error).

How can I get rid of the blue screen error?
Original title: Windows Vista Start does not
Hello
I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and I've had it for 5 years now (2006-) the problem is that I don't know what happened, but when it restarts, I have two options;Startup Startup Repair (recommended)
Start Windows normallyWhen I choose "Start Windows normally", a blue screen appears with an error message and disappears quickly, leading me to restart my Vista again. However, when I select Launch Startup Repair tool, it takes a while and after a bit, it ask if I want to send the error to microsoft (recommended) and I choose Yes, and it takes a little more time to look for a solution. Finally, a list of appropriate actions appear;
Startup Repair; I tried this 8 times now, and he cannot find a solution, leading me to reboot once more.
System restore; I tried ALL the dates of the restoration, and none of them worked. I got an error saying: it cannot restore.
Restore the computer; 1. I don't have a backup drive (it's a shame, I know) and 2. I don't want back up and lose all my files.
Windows Memory Diagnostic tools; I checked all hardware error, and none have been found.
Command prompt; I don't know what to do with it.If someone can PLEASE help me, I would be VERY grateful. I have very old memories and photos on this computer and I don't want to lose these. I am begging for someone to help me, and my last priority would be to forget all these photos and files and move: (.) Oh and I tried running safe mode, by pressing F8 while the computer restarts and I've highlighted Mode safe mode with networking, but it gives a quick overview of a blue screen just and hangs on reboot. Please help me on the procedure to follow for the good of my IMPORTANT files and memories.
Thank you, in advance.
Hi AffanX,
Method 1: Try to disable automatic reboot in the menu start-up advanced options, and then try to capture the blue screen error message, see the link below:
Advanced-Startup-options-including-safe-mode
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
Method 2: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.
If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then get any drivers\software update for the device.
After disconnecting all external devices, run the Startup Repair
Windows Vista or Windows 7 unbootable and the Startup Repair tool does not resolve the problem
