Get rid of the ugly TextArea border...

Hello!

I tried in vain several ways (from setStyle using the RectBorder class) to get rid of the ugly grey border appearing in the TextArea component.
I've not found anything effective in LiveDocs or Pro 8 help.

Does anyone know the right way to go through this issue?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Kind regards

  • Why can't I get rid of the ugly blue baby?

    Since I started using Windows 7, I used a blue color theme. Recently, I decided that I'm really tired of the Blues and has decided to move. Some of my most used apps are NOT blue and it runs. So, I went with a theme of amber color for Windows.

    But, to my complete misunderstanding, I discovered that there seems to be no way to get rid of this horrible blue baby explore and other windows no matter how I put them in the dialog 'window color and appearance '.

    And NOT ONLY THAT, but this has been a known defect (known to the MS) Windows 7 goes all the way back for 2009.

    So I thought I would at least check to make sure: is it true that there is no way to remove the baby blue color hideous some of the windows in Windows 7?

    And if not, can someone please inform me how fix?

    Most of the explore toolbars and such uses graphics to give them shaded color or a shade.  The theme only controls the color of border/glass, but graphs of the toolbar would need to be replaced by different images to change their colors (it is not a variable in development, it's a literal image).

    So, you can use a skin program to replace the assets of photo file (WindowBlinds is an excellent program that does), or you can use the "classic" theme (which turns off all graphic and assets used only programmable colors).

    In DW? These lines are just in the editor. Preview in the browser and you
    will not see the... If that's what you're talking about. Unless you have
    created borders and then resolve that by definition of border = 0.

    But what would be really useful would be a Pointant URL to your page. :)

  • How do I get rid of the ugly gray black outline or dark around PSD with any transparency in Illustrator?

    In the new 2015 Illustrator, import a PSD with transparency brings an ugly gray outline dark around the non-transparent areas. It is not to get to the exit, but it appears in evidence PDF that raises red flags with everyone who sees it. The PSD save options or display options in Illustrator? I have not found any that contributes yet.

    Another thing, try:

    Toggle between the preview of the GPU and the RGB (or CMYK) overview using cmd-E (mac) or ctrl-E (win).

    He could make a difference.

    Alternatively, you can try to disable GPU performance in preferences.

  • How to get rid of the white vertical border that always accompanies a blockquote.

    Whenever I have apply the right indent in a text frame, a vertical white line or border is added on the left. Does anyone know how to fill the line with the background color or eliminate the annoying vertical line?

    The answers are in your code.  What is the URL of your online test page?

    I didn't style the blockquote. It's the same thing when I have added dates in a table. I had a similar vertical line to the left of each date, as I entered. I have dealt with him by adding a border of the same color as the background.

    Using Bootstrap?  Bootstrap css puts a light border-left on the quote blocks. It is not usually sensitive unless you use a dark background.

    To remove the border, add this to your custom CSS.

    BLOCKQUOTE {}

    border-left: none! important

    }

    That said, I hope that you do not use a tab to indent key simply text has the desktop publishing.

    It's what the CSS margins, padding & dash-text are for.

    Blockquotes are semantic tags used specifically for the quotes outside the other text setting.

    Frank,

    This seems odd. There may be something wrong, is below.

    Can we get rid of the stuff of border/white with Select > same > fill color and remove all white paths (you may need to perform a few unbundling)?

    The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

    (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  • Get rid of the highlight around the border when a TableView Gets the focus

    Hello

    Is there a way remove the highlight around the border of a TableView when it gets the focus?

    Thank you.

    The relevant css of caspian.css to /sdk/rt/lib/jfxrt.jar is:

    /** Draws focus border around tableview */
    .table-view:focused {
        -fx-background-color: -fx-focus-color,-fx-box-border,-fx-control-inner-background;
        -fx-background-insets: -1.4, 0, 1;
        -fx-background-radius: 1.4, 0, 0;

        /* There is some oddness if padding is in em values rather than pixels,
           in particular, the left border of the control doesn't show. */
        -fx-padding: 1; /* 0.083333em; */
    }

    To get rid of the update screen, just define a css stylesheet customised for your application that replaces the table: pseudo-class concentrate, for example:

    .table-view:focused { -fx-background-color: transparent,-fx-box-border,-fx-control-inner-background; }

    Although it seems to be a white border when you first fill the snip, after saving it shouldn't be present more.

    If the border remains you can remove by using the crop tool on a photo editing programs such as integrated Windows Paint program.

    BTW, there are three methods applyTheme. I guess the method empty arg takes care of it. Just an info.

        protected void applyTheme() {

            // do nothing
        }

        protected void applyThemeOnStateChange() {

            // do nothing
        }

        protected void applyTheme( Graphics graphics, boolean flag ) {

            // do nothing
        }

    If you're on 4.6.0 + you can also choose to create a class of border or background empty to get rid of the default theme borders. applyTheme() is incomplete.
