Get TCP Service Port number name

The TCP listen and the TCP create listener screws have an entry named 'Service name' base, once a listener is created in the LabVIEW application is it possible what service named is running on which port in an external application and query? The external application may or may not be developed in LabVIEW.

TCP exits create listener VI the port number used, this is useful information, but I don't see any automatic method for an external application to get this information?

C++ getservbyname function does not return the information given to the listener of LabVIEW TCP known, created and listen.

The help of LabVIEW:

name of the service creates a reference known for the port number. If you specify a service name, LabVIEW saves the service name and the port number with the of Service Locator OR.

    Hi Paul,.

    You will need to first loop through the array rule set of firewall and from there you will get some properties this State if it is active, service, etc. and you will also have access to an array called rule that contains the rules within each of the ruleset. Once you go through the rules, you will find information about the direction, endPort, port and Protocol

    Something like this should work (there will be values that will not fill as endPort, so make sure you check before printing/etc.)

    my $fw_ruleset = $host->config->firewall->ruleset;

    foreach(@$fw_ruleset) {
         my $rules = $_->rule;
         if($_->enabled) {
             print "Firewall Rule: ", $_->label, "\n";
             foreach(@$rules) {
                  print "Direction: ", $_->direction->val, "\n";
                 print "End Port: ", $_->endPort, "\n";
                 print "Port: ", $_->port, "\n";
                 print "Protocol: ", $_->protocol, "\n";
              }
              print "-------------\n"
         }
    }

    Here's a quick snippet out:

    Firewall rule: SNMP Server

    Direction: inbound

    Use of uninitialized value, catalogue in ligne./vmwareHealthCheck.pl 1748.

    Ending port:

    What do you mean by "port number"? HTTP port (usually 8080), or listening port (normally 1521)?

    To change the name of the service, you can use (as a DBA or SYSDBA)

    SQL > alter system set service_name = '';

  • Name of the resource does not COM port number

    Hello

    When I connect computer Board, I use

    ResourceManager.GetLocalManager (). FindResources("?*")

    to get resource name ("ASRL11::INSTR") and use that name that I invoke

    A session = ResourceManager.GetLocalManager (). Open (Name);

    to get the session and get the value of the property HardwareInterfaceName of the session.

    The problem is that the COM port number in the property ("Com10") of HardwareInterfaceName does not match name the resource. The COM port number is correct, that it is the same, as noted in the Windows Device Manager. But why the name of the resource 'ASRL11::INSTR', it should be "ASRL10::INSTR".

    Does anyone have an idea?

  • Active Directory Domain Services unavailable problem windows 7, wireless printer; no TCP/IP ports

    Hello.  I have a HP 8600 printer that is no longer connects to my home PC.  The printer will always print whne using my laptop with no problems. The printer was working with the PC at home until about 6 days ago.   I tried a system restore and the question did not correct himself.  The error I get is related to ports TCP/IP is not available.  These errors occur when I try to add devices.  I installed and re installed the driver a couple of times and that didn't work.  I tried to add a TCP/IP port and the error message refers to the TCP/IP Wizard is not available.   I tried to add the HP 8600 via a USB cable and I get the same errors and have the same problems as described above.  I tried to add a HP 6310 to the PC via USB and I get the same errors and have the same problems as described above.    The 6310 works however with my laptop.   I tried the HP printer doctor software, but the question does not seem to be with a printer.  Issues seem to be attached to the PC and ports TCP/IP is only not available.  Can someone help me please to solve problems?

    Hey Joe,

    This might have caused due to corrupted printer drivers or ports.

    Uninstall of the printer with traces and reinstall again will be able to remedy the situation.

    Please try to follow the suggestion and check them off below if it helps:

    Please disable third-party firewalls installed on the computer, sometimes firewall blocks ports.

    Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 1: Reset TCP/IP

    Please follow the below article which will help you to reset TCP/IP

    https://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357?WA=wsignin1.0

    Method 2: Troubleshooting printer

    It is an automated tool that will check for problems and automatically fix the problem.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

    IF the first method did not fix the problem go to method 2.

    Method 3: Uninstall the printer using Microsoft fix

    This fix it will remove drivers with all traces in the computer.

    Note: Please uninstall all programs associated with the printer.

    http://Support2.Microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/

    Method 4: Reinstall the printer

    Please use the floppy disk provided by the manufacturer of the printer to reinstall the printer into the computer and see if it helps.

    Hope this information helps. For any other corresponding Windows help, do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help you.

  • How to change the name of the ODI agent and port number

    I installed ODI standalone agent (11g) on a linux server.  We now realize that we need to change the name and port number of the agent.  Is it possible to change these or do we need to re - install odi agent?

    I know that I can change the name in the ODI, but I can't change the port number.  I would like everything to be consistent in all of our environments.  That's why we need to change the name of the agent and the port number.

    How do you start the agent? Which command you use to start?

    There are two ways, either by directly calling agent.bat and passing name agent and port don't start or you can run the sh/bat file created during installation (present in oracledi\agent\bin). The file name that is created should look like this (agent_localagent11g) where localagent11g is the name given during installation time and 'agent' is the prefix that was added by ODI.

    There is no configuration file to configure the port number and agent. Make sure that the port number and name you pass to agent.sh must match what is configured in odistudio.

    Agent.bat '-PORT = 20910 ""-NAME = localagent11g.

  • Select < of the Listener Port number > in which_table?

    I am writing a SQL script which, among other things, disconnects from Oracle and then reconnects to the same instance under a different name. I'm able to query v$ database and v$ instance to get most of the information I need (host, name of service, etc.) for the part of reconnect. The only part that miss me is the listener port number. I could hardcode it 1521, but it's not very flexible. Currently, I am asking the user (who is usually me) for the listening port number in the SQL script, but that just seems a little lame. So my question is this: is there a view or a table somewhere in the schema sys that I could use to display the configuration of the earpiece? I work mainly with the gr 10, 2 + databases.

    No, I don't think that that is maintained in one of the views and is not soemthing that you should believe would keep have changed (if the implementation of the network people are good). In order to check once and you should be fine.

  • : Error: the port number you entered contains a non-digit character

    Hi all

    Nice day.

    After installation of the version 11g GRID on a Windows 2008 Server, now I tried to install the Agent on one of the servers which is a 64-bit solaris box.

    I read that silent installation is possible.

    I made the necessary changes in the additional_agent.rsp.
    OMS_HOST=xxx.43.xx.177
    OMS_PORT=4889
    AGENT_REGISTRATION_PASSWORD=xxxxx123
    The same thing has been changed in the staticports.ini
    Oracle Management Agent Port=4889
    The OMS_HOST contains the IP address where the grid and OMS_PORT is the port of the GRID.

    Then on run the below command, I get this error:

  • change port number for the mobile server after installation

    Jin
    I use windows 2003 server release 2, Server Oracle 11 g R2 and oracle database lite 10g R3. I installed successfully the mobile server with port 80, but when I start the mobile server I get an error message indicating that port 80 is already in use. Now, I need to change the port number of the mobile server. can someone tell me the solution.

    If the Oracle Lite installation type is INDEPENDENT, then to change the port number of Olite in any other available free port number, you must edit the file by default-web - site.xml or site.xml - web-http file present in $OLITE_HOME/mobile_oc4j/j2ee/mobileserver/config directory.

    You can at any time change the port in the file http web - site.xml and bounce services, the new port will take effect.

  • WSD port for printers and TCP/IP ports monitor, what is the difference?

    There are a lot of discussions on IP etc. addresses for printer problems. There is no mention of a new feature for the port for printers, WSD port for plug-and-play printers, I assume that the IP addresses have no importance with WSD, my printer is vaguely configured for the WSD port and TCP/IP port, can someone please expain

    Here is a description I found

    The WSD Port Monitor is a new printer port monitor in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.  This port monitor supports printing on network devices that are designed to include Web Services for devices (WSD) technology.  Services Web for devices allows devices connected to the IP-based network announce their functionality and to provide these services to customers using the Web Services Protocol.  Clients and devices WSD communicate on the network using a series of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) messages on UDP and HTTP (S).  WSD for devices offers a plug-and-play network experience that is similar to the installation of a USB device.  Services Web for devices also defines a security profile that can be extended to provide additional protection and authentication by using certificates based on the device.

    WSD is not a port, but a port monitor.  A port monitor looks at information from the TCP/IP port and makes routing or changes based on what happens in the port.

    This link has some in the description of the depth of the WSD port monitor:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2008/02/11/WS2008-the-WSD-port-monitor.aspx

    Back to the comparison of the IP address as a P.O. box.  Once the letter arrives in the POST box, someone needs to come empty the box or letters are going no where.

    When the data comes in the TCP/IP port a port monitor is where I look for that to happen.  The WSD port monitor would take over this function from the standard TCP/IP port monitor.
