  Here's a vSphere SDK for Perl script that extracts the MAC addresses for all your virtual machines - http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-10490

  You should be able to take it and translate it into any language vSphere SDK you plan to use. Basically you'll be listing through virtual hardware for the virtual machine to search for devices of type VirtualEthernetCard and then retrieve the MAC address of each device.

  Reading your question a little more in detail, I doubt if you are using the Win32 GetDiskFreeSpace API function (including my previous post is the solution) of the function GetDiskSpace from the Toolbox of the programmer.

  It is possible that you downloaded the demo of creative cloud of Lightroom. The perpetual license key will not work. Uninstall the version on the second computer, it doesn't bother your catalog, preferences and personal files.

  I'm trying to back up a machine virtual on ESX1 (we have two boxes of ESX) (ESX1 & ESX2)

  I get the error which I enclose the image when I run a backup for a computer virtual located on ESX1 via Vizioncore VrangerPro

  Error: Unable to connect to the destination. Error: gateway for esx1 ESX host. ___. _ has not been configured.

  If the same machine to migrate ESX2, it works fine.

  Now the only thing that has changed on the ESX1 is because we have forgotten the root password, we had to restart the ESX1 to reset the password so that I can PuTTY in the cosole.

  OK, how do you reset the value of the gateway on ESX_1?  Maybe you just need to "trick" the connection vRanger thinking that it has been fixed, try to make the empty bridge, then set back.

  We vRanger connection but never seen this error, but the message may there is a value in a conf file that is not defined, and reset this value may reset these files?

  And in my experience, you cannot send them email, you have to call them.  They are much quicker to respond via the phone.

  Since it's your own home network, it means you are the network administrator. Which basically means that you should have total control on who can and can not connect to internet through this network.

  Then, you should have a router somewhere in your House. This is the device that sends the wireless signal. Most likely, it will be connected to a phone jack or cable from the wall, or a modem, depending on which company you get your internet service.

  You need to find this device, the router and restart for it. Do the same on your computer. Once both have restarted, try to connect to the internet. The router must have an ID written somewhere on it. This same ID should appear in your network and sharing Center , if you click on "Connect To A Network.

  I use the vi in c# .net toolkit and use the cmdlet get - view often get items of vim, but this is not how I want to get stuff done. Using get - view on a vm host id I can cast a HostSystem vim object and then I get advice to alarms as a virtual machine host may have defined and/or triggered, but can't some simple things like the description of an alarm triggered on a virtual machine host. I guess I have to create an AlarmManager, give him the moref for an alarm that I get from the subject of vim HostSystem... but I have lost in the vi sdk documentation and examples seem to be lacking in discussions on alarms and in the land of powershell... life is so MUCH easier, but I'm just whining now...

  Any help/pointers/code snippets are welcome...

  Rob, you can do without having to subject AlarmManager.

  With the MoRef in TriggeredAlarmState entries you get the object of alarm triggered alarm.

  Something like that
