get the known absolute path url path

Y at - it a CF 8 function that will give me the url for one path an absolute path of BONE known.

For example if I have a path to a file or a directory like:

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ccradius\public\applications\cruzcontrol\uploads\uploadpics\badday1.jpg

OR

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ccradius\public\applications\cruzcontrol\uploads\uploadpics\

Thanks for any help!

No, there is not such a function.  It's a little tricky automate because a directory on the file system can be mapped in any number of ways on the CF server, and there is no automatic way to CF to question you do not want to use the mapping.

Basically, what you need to do is to use expandPath() to develop a mapping that you want to use to resolve the path to the file system in a URL and then look for a match in the path that you are trying to convert.  If it is there, chop the path of the filesystem accordingly (and flip, the slashes around if he needs).

FOR EXAMPLE:

Your path:

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ccradius\public\applications\cruzcontrol\uploads\uploadpics\b adday1.jpg

Mapping your root:

/-Online C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ccradius\

ExpandPath("/") so decides to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ccradius\

Now use replace() to get rid of that little of the trajectory of your target path:

public\applications\cruzcontrol\uploads\uploadpics\b adday1.jpg

Add the mapping (which is just ' / ' in this case):

/public\applications\cruzcontrol\uploads\uploadpics\b adday1.jpg

Replace() allows to substitute the------with /.

/ public/applications/cruzcontrol/uploads/uploadpics/b adday1.jpg

    Hello

    Is possible to get the answer to a url if a vCO workflow? I want to check the status of keepalive on a Web server to see if the instance is running or not. All I want is to hit the url, say ""https://webserverfqdn:port/keepalive.html/"and analysis the answer to understand the Web server is running." I don't want SSH to the Server Web query status. It is very before starlight in javascript using xmlHTTPRequest. But, how can I do this using vRO?

    Thank you

    Here you go:

    var website = new URL("https://webserverfqdn:port/keepalive.html");
    var content = website.getContent();

    Now 'content' is a string that contains your Web site content that you can now analyze as you wish.

    All data are kept in memory during the session in incognito mode and will never be saved on the hard disk, so these data are available for normal use and things like restore closed tabs and windows and cookies still function as in a normal session, but this data is deleted from all the private browsing mode Windows Open (tabs) are closed.

    The key factor is not the name of the file itself, but the total length of the file name and the path of the folder.

    return (bf == null? null: bf);
    }

    public String [] getImageURLs() {}
    Return this.imageURLs;

    }

    Finally my fatal mistake was in archive JSON, I change the URL of the images of http://localhost/image.jpg to
    http://user-xxx/image.jpg (MDS - CS available in http://localhost URL: 8080 /), and now it works!

    For Internet Explorer 8 and later versions, you must set a security setting to get the full qualified path: see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms535128.aspx.

    For other browsers, there could be a similar setting.

  • How can we get the list of files in a folder?

    Hi all

    My plugin has a list of .ai files in the user interface of the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS4\Plug - ins\Illustrator Filters\MyPlugin.

    Also, if we put 'MyFile.ai' in the folder 'MyPlugin', then the user interface should display the MyFile (file name) in a drop-down list box.

    I want to get the list of files in the folder "MyPLugin".

    Download the plugins to HAVE

    AI::filepath pluginsFolder.

    sAIFolders-> FindFolder (kAIPluginsFolderType,

    fake , pluginsFolder);

    MyPlugin folder

    AI::UnicodeString MyPluginFolder (pluginsFolder.GetFullPath ());

    MyPluginFolder.append (ai::UnicodeString ("\\Illustrator Effects\\Myplugin\\"));

    Here I get the my full path of the folder plugin in "MyPluginFolder".

    Now, this file, I want to get the list of files that I placed?

    What are the APIs available in artificial intelligence to get the list of files in a folder?

    If you want to enumerate files in a directory, you have to use the OS APIs. I does not provide for this. There are different ways to find important files/directories related to AI, but nothing else.

    The APIs to do this in the operating system are usually pretty easy to use but. Annoying if you try to hit Mac and Windows, but a little care in the design of your interface and hide the worst.

  • How do you get the path of the data store or the URL of a virtual disk in vRealize Orchestrator?

    I need to eager zero a virtual disk while building a virtual machine. I found the eagerZeroVirtualDisk_Task() under VcVirtualDiskManager function, which takes in 2 parameters:

    name - (String) the name of the disk, is a path to the data store or a URL pointing to the virtual disk that needs to be inflated.

    Data Center - (VcDatacenter) if the name is a path of data store, the data center for the path of the data store. Not necessary when called directly on ESX. If not specified on a call to VirtualCenter, the name must be a URL.

    How can I get the correct path of data store given the virtual disk? I intend to iterate through the features of the virtual machine to get the disks.

    I don't know what you mean by sending a file. Do you want to open a file in PS or do I have to declare the path for support for the extension file? With javascript, you must define a variable. In Win it should look like:

    or

    var myScript = new File(app.path + '/Presets/Scripts/myJavascript.jsx');
