Hello:
You have a CD in your CD drive or a floppy disk in the floppy drive?
If this is not the case, go into your BIOS by pressing F10 at HP welcome screen. If there is a hard drive diagnostic menu, run to check your hard drive.
Hard drive or damage failure may be a cause of this message.
The PC is looking for a drive (or the boot device) boot from and can not find a.

See the other answer (s) you got but also note the following: the first thing to do is to ensure that there is no CD or DVD in the drive. If it and try to boot from it, you would probably get such a message. If there is not, there is a good chance that the hard drive is dead and must be replaced. -
I want to change the fonts, but didn't get the message 'no police system available.
I am trying to edit a PDF pamphlet created by another party. Using Acrobat Pro Mac OSX. I select "edit the text of the document" and then try to remove or change the text and get the message. "all or part of the selection has no available system fonts, you can add or remove text using the selected font.
I don't see any bar of another way to change the font or font format.
Is there a way to work this?
More to 'Acrobat answers' Karl Kremer of the AUC has answered a similar question.
He wrote in part:"I assume that you want to change the content of a PDF file, and you can't do it because you do not have the installed font that is used in this file. That's how Acrobat: you must have the font in your document installed on your local computer in order to make changes to the text that uses this font. There is no way around that. You will need to know what font is used for the text that you need to edit and then acquire this font (and that usually means buy this policy, unless you are subscribed to for example CC and this policy are available through TypeKit).
Another option is to select all the text and replace this text with a different but similar font. Again, you can only use a font available on your computer as target police. But once you've done that, you should be able to edit your document.
You change the font by selecting tools > content edition > Text Edit & Images, and then you select the text you want to change, and your police target. »
Be well...

From the beginning of this week, I get a pop-up message stating "To free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages". This happens when that I start. The fact is; I do not use Outlook Express or have installed. I checked the Windows components that are installed and checked that. Once again; He started at the beginning of this week. There are a few updates that was installed earlier this week also. No other software has been added. I use Outlook 2003 and have for years. Will continue to cancel this message, I would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on how to prevent this message from poping up upward.
Of course, it has something to with Windows Search as you suggest.
I open the Indexing Options and found that Outlook Express was listed and checked in an indexed location.
I took the case off Outlook Express but he left on my Outlook 2003.
The settings saved and restarted.
The message poped always upward, but I noticed one thing - search index icon does not appear in the taskbar until I actually recognized the message by choosing. I waited about a minute and a half before that I did to make sure my boot is complete. Soon I clicked on cancel search index icon appeared on the system tray. -
Whenever I boot Windows XP Professional I get the message: error 7026 system event log
Original title: 7026 event log system errorGet an error in the error 7026 system event log the following boot-stat or system-stat driver could not load DCDisk. I get this log entry each I boot XP Pro. It doesn't seem to be the cause of failure, other than the log entry. The only app that has a dcdisk.exe I can find is Farstone I installed on the system
Uninstall and reinstall the program that you have installed that has created the entry

Alternatively, you can remove the redundant entry using Autoruns.
To identify what loads when you start using Autoruns (freeware from Microsoft).

With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.
Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.
