Get the specification of multiple tables

I've created in my project of many tables, and I want to get information about them in a format that is displayed in the object browser, when I select the table and open section/tab "table." After clicking on in appears the table with columns:

Column name Data type Nullable Default Primary key

and describes the table I have chosen before. the title of this painting is the link to download the CSV file that contains this description. How to obtain this information without loading and clickin all tables manually, it is possible to get an output to a file for tables selected before?

You could do a select from one of the oracle of metadata tables for the information you are looking for: ALL_TAB_COLUMNS

SELECT * from ALL_TAB_COLUMNS will show you what you probably want to...

Thank you

  • RICs when MergeTable using with the names of multiple tables

    Hello world!

I just saw, as v11 OWM MergeTable media with the names of multiple tables. As I couldn't find anything in the documentation, here's a question:

It also means, that RICs are automatically taken into account regarding the order of INSERTS/CHANGES/DELETES?

That would actually really great and simplify the merge of our application mechanism a lot.

    Kind regards

    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

This feature works the same MergeWorkspace, but with a smaller set of tables.  Tables will always be merged into the order of the child table first, then the parent tables.  However, foreign key constraints are not validated until all tables have been merged.  This would prevent a mistake to be triggered when the child table merging before the parent merging table data in the parent workspace.

    Kind regards

  • Get the specification of the full path of the file to Flash and QuickTime icons animation?

How to get the specification of the full path of the file to Flash and QuickTime icons animation? I want the path and the file name contained in these icons. I use a "diving" to browse the icons to a file, and when I come on these two types of icons, I want to get the information above contained in them. I can certainly look in the Properties dialog box for this info, but there are a lot of icons in these files, and I want to generate a list of information based on different types of icons that I'm processing. Thank you

    Steve,

When I tried GetIconProperty (IconID, #filename) as part of my 'dive', it worked when he met the QT icon. That is what I wanted.

Not sure why it doesn't work with my small test case that has been a calc icon that followed a Falsh or QT icon.

Thanks again for your quick response with the correct solution.

  • How to get the script to a table or view in SQL Developer?

    Dear friends/expert,

Could you tell me how to get the script from a view or a table easily in SQL Developer as pressing F4 in TOAD?

I found that I can press SHIFT + F4 to view in SQL Developer and get the script of the view in the Details tab. But how to move the script to the SQL worksheet to change? It is very easy to do in TOAD.

And I have not found a way to get the script for a table up to now. Is it possible to do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Ning

There are people a lot better out there to answer on this point than I am - but here's how I do it.

I'm just in the browser/browser for interest table, choose the script on the right side tab (which shows all the SQL for the table) and then cut and paste what I want or need in my editor window.

  • get the index of a table display

    Hello!

I have a question. Is it possible to get the index of a current table in the front panel?

I have 2 tables which need to scrool simultaneously to the user, so my idea was to read the index of a table and 'write' on the second.

Can someone give me an idea how to do that?

    Thank you

    Dear Thiago Bach,

recently, I did (for a similar question) an example on the control to the index of the two tables and bar a scroll, please find the attached VI.

  • Impossible to get the specific features of cisco in LMS syslogs

    Hello

It's about a problem that we face with our LMS 3.2.1. We cannot get specific cisco devices syslogs, while we are able to get the rest devices syslogs. one you suggest what would be the exact reason for this and the troubleshooting steps.

    Thanks in advance,

    Raja

    Hello

The first thing I would say is to make sure that you have these devices configured to send the syslogs to that specific server. See config below:

    3725B - CR - NMS (config) #logging host?
Host name or A.B.C.D IP address of the syslog server

If that is already set up, please make sure that syslog messages are on the server. Create a message simple syslog and check the syslog.log file located in NMSROOT/CSCOpx/log to make sure it's written there. You can also run a capture of packages to confirm the foregoing. If you have this installed on Linux/Solaris, check the syslog_info file (/ var/log /).

You can generate a test syslog as shown below:

    3725 B-CR-NEM #conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
    3725B - CR - NMS (config) #exit
    B-CR-NMS 3725 #.
    * 03:35:42.613 13 Oct: % SYS-5-CONFIG_I: configured from console by admin on vty1 (192.168.10.197)

NMSROOT is the LMS installation directory

    Let me know the results.

  • Analysis of query and get the list of used tables

    Hi all

I need to parse the sql query (simple & complex as well) and for a list of the tables used in the query.

And need to validate the fact that list the tables against a whitelist that is kept in the file.

I tried to write my own parser, because there are many ways to write complex queries, I'm unable to cover all scenarios.

I need help, is there other ways to get the list of tables used in a query?

    Thank you

    Manon...

In general you would add a condition 1 = 2 just to restrict the display of the entire table. Then should not be causing any noticeable performance degradation. You can even use ROWNUM< 2.="" that="" will="" do="" a="" count="" stopkey.="" which="" could="" be="">

SQL > select * from emp where rownum<>

    no selected line

    SQL > select * from table (dbms_xplan.display_cursor);

    PLAN_TABLE_OUTPUT
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    SQL_ID, 97f4bd002xfy0, number of children 0
    -------------------------------------
Select * from emp where rownum<>

    Hash value of plan: 4269703525

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    | ID | Operation | Name | Lines | Bytes | Cost (% CPU). Time |
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    |   0 | SELECT STATEMENT |      |       |       |     2 (100) |          |
    |*  1 |  COUNT STOPKEY |      |       |       |            |          |
    |   2.   TABLE ACCESS FULL | EMP |     1.    38.     2 (0) | 00:00:01 |
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information of predicates (identified by the operation identity card):
    ---------------------------------------------------

    1 Filter (ROWNUM<>

    19 selected lines.

But its always good to bench mark it yourself.

You can try to generate a report of Catalog Manager for analysis / SA want to create the line and your RPD you can go to utilities > documentation of the repository and get the domain you want to and get all the mappings in Excel format.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to get the update since viewcriteria table?

    Hello

My version of jdev is 11.1.1.2.3

I created a test to view based on two tables by using a common attribute in both tables,

I dragged this viewcriteria as datacontrols viewcriteria named perticular instance table.

My problem is that I have to update my table (upgrade mode)

    can someone help me please...

    Thank you

As I said before, if you drop a vc as a query with table, the table will be read-only. Drop it as a query and after the query Panel is generated drop the VO of the Victoria Cross was built on table, and then select do not read only to make it editable. Then you will need to make the change in the Panel of the query and set the property resultComponentId to the id of the table that you fell forward. Then you get the Panel request with editable table.

  • The most elegant way to get the difference between two tables - not least!

    Hello

Simplified example of what I'm trying to achieve - I have two tables ORIGINAL and REVISED.

My aim is to compare the two, such as; -

When there is data in the two tables I get the difference between the Budget column, and if there is no difference, so I don't want no lines.

When data exists in the ORIGINAL, but not in review, I want to the inverse of the current value of the Budget column.

Where the data exist in REVISED I want the REVISED value.

I can see how I can do this, see below, but is there a more elegant solution?

    Data for the ORIGINAL table
    select '801040' entity, '2186' expense_type, 234000 budget
    from dual
    union all
    select '801040' entity, '3001' expense_type, 1000 budget
    from dual
    union all
    select '801040' entity, 'P132' expense_type, 34000 budget
    from dual
    union all
    select '801040' entity, 'P135' expense_type, 43000 budget
    from dual
    Data for the REVISED table
    select '801040' entity, '2186' expense_type, 235000 budget
    from dual
    union all
    select '801040' entity, 'P132' expense_type, 34000 budget
    from dual
    union all
    select '801040' entity, 'P139' expense_type, 56000 budget
    from dual
    Desired output

    ENTITY EXPENSE_TYPE DIFFERENCE
    ------ ------------ ----------
    801040 2186 1000
    801040 3001-1000
    801040 P135-43000
    801040 P139 56000

    5 selected lines.

Code current to achieve this, is there a better way?
    select original.entity
    ,      original.expense_type
    ,       (nvl(revised.budget,0) - original.budget) as difference
    from   original
    ,      revised
    where  original.entity = revised.entity(+)
    and    original.expense_type = revised.expense_type(+)
    and   (nvl(revised.budget,0) - original.budget) != 0
    union all
    select  revised.entity
    ,       revised.expense_type
    ,       revised.budget as difference
    from   revised
    where  not exists
    (select 'x'
    from   original
    where  original.entity = revised.entity
    and    original.expense_type = revised.expense_type)
    and    revised.budget != 0
Thanks a lot for your comments,.
