GIF animated with hover?

Here's an animated GIF where you can stop and start when you switch on it.  I know how to make them to the PSD, but do not know how to do with hover (scroll down to see on the next page):

http://www.sbnation.com/2014/1/16/5304078/breaking-Madden-49ers-vs-Seahawks-beeftank

If this is something I can do in Muse?  Requires coding or is it a PSD function?  I use CS4 PSD.

Thank you.

Hello

This configuration is possible in Muse. Please follow the steps below:

(1) first save a copy of your GIF image Jpeg image (with just first image of your IWD)

(2) then place a blank publication Widget and keep only a single trigger and target inside (delete the rest).

(3) now place your GIF in the target and trigger, use the option of filling up and fill the tank of a Tirgger with JPEG image.

(4) select Trigger again and the option of States using, you must remove the fill of rollover, Mousedown, and active state image.

(5) place the trigger on the top Widget flyout opion and target container, use parameters as shown in the image below:

A long process, but should help you achieve this effect.

Kind regards

Sachin

  • How to compress a gif animated with a shadow heavy? (only 4 images)

Hi I have an email where the hero is an animated gif, 4 frames, with photos of products with a heavy shadow. I need to keep this title of 200 k. The shadows are coming VERY trippy (to be blunt)... Any suggestions?

Shadows will be a problem with Gif, GIF supports 256 colors mapped and that number drops to 255 when you want to support transparency.  There is no partial transparency either.    Drop shadows are a problem create their grand and reduce. Animated PNG would be better, but bigger and all browsers do not support animated png I need an extension for chrome to png animated. link to the animated png JJMack Animated PNG Collection Page example

  • Transform a .gif animated into a hyperlink

Hey, Im completely new to the forum and was hoping someone could help me.

I do a banner for a website and created a .gif animated with 5 photos that turn. I would like to become an active link so that if anyone sees it as an advertisement on a Web site, they could click on it and make it redirect to another Web site. Is this possible in photoshop cs5? If so, does anyone know how to do?

    Thank you!

    Photoshop allows you to take the picture. but the extent of the connection between the things going, what is the html code. Dreamweaver is a tool to help write the html. If you don't know anything about either on dreamweaver html will be difficult for you to understand. You may be able to do some of the simple things by following online tutorials and other things. link a gif image to a Web site is one of the things easier to do but then... maybe. basically if your gif is a banner;

in the meantime theand theTags insert your (.gif)

    http://www.the "SITE YOU WANT TO LINK.com" >

but just to make sure you understand... This code goes in the coding for the site you put it in. is not something you can fix on the gif. Basically you join the gif for the link, not the link to the gif. You need a Web site before connecting anything (if necessary).

  • Help to create a gif animated for a navigation bar!

Hey guys, I'm very new to Fireworks and dreamweave and I encounter a problem that makes my head spin! I need to create a simple animated .gif to a navigation bar (which will be published in dreamweaver). The navigation bar are as follows: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/functionality.html. Essentially, all that happens is I create this animated picture and in dreamweaver, when I create the navigation bar of AP, I updated the mouseover this image. My problem is that, compared to the image mouseover of the website ( http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/images/navi/audience_OVER.gif ) animated my gif has several layers and States, where, as its only has a single layer. I can't seem to find a way to include both text and gif image and incorporate them into the same layer.

A follow-up to the issue after finding the way to integrate them both in the same State, I should catch every piece of my animated gif for the individual State, that I want it be applied?

Any help/pointer to where the information would be greatly appreciated. I have read through the manuals and watched a lot of videos of Babbage, but were not able to understand this. Thank you!

Your gif didn't need to have several layers, but he needs to have several States. To save you a lot of confusion, first create animated gifs, and then export them. Create your navigation bar in the usual way, with simple images, rolloveres or swap. The navigation bar on export. Rename the gifs animated with the names of most of the State of the navigation bar images and then remove (or mone to another folder) more images of the State navigation bar. Move the gif animations in the navigation bar image file. Preview in the browser. The animated gifs should have replaced the original state of the buttons.

  • Why .gif animated works with windows?

I created a .gif animated in a powerpoint presentation, but when I sent it to my client who has used a computer windows, it does not work. When I try to open the .gif in my virtual machine windows 98, it says that it contains errors.

I he created in photoshop CC using the timeline and check it with "save for web".

You use a Mac, and this same file works on your side? Perhaps the file was corrupted somehow when you sent it.

  • Problem of length with gif animated

    Hello!

I love the animated gif functionality and have used several times with success.

This time, he seems to ignore my settings for the duration. I put the number as high as 1500/100, but when I saw the images in the browser (Mac Safari or Firefox), just whisk by. I did cut the lively and optimize it as an animated gif and export it. When I worked with her again this morning, the first image reflects the 1500/100, but the rest are still in the race. I tried to attach file here.

Also, I wonder if this should really be done in Flash rather than FW. The customer wants maybe 5 or 6 images and with test 7, I now, I see that we are at 216K file size. I don't know flash, but if the blog theme that we use doesn't have something set up, I guess I'll just outsource the development of Flash.

    Thank you
    Caryn

Well... it works for me, but...

One thing to pay attention is to save export vs. When you create your file, you should Save as a .png of fireworks document. Then, to produce your .gif animation, you must export it. I like to use the Preview Image (on the file menu), as I can change the settings I want. Other people prefer the issue of export and optimize their production.

There are two types of .png files. A fireworks .png has all the layers, vector shapes, Web layer, active filters and special exclusive information that uses Fireworks. A flattened .png is just a bitmap image, if it has 32, 24 or 8-bit. There is no distinction between these files based on the extension. Another user, once suggested to use. FW.png for Fireworks documents and .png for png export and I found that a good suggestion.

In any case, a good rule to follow is to use Save when you want Fireworks .png and export when you want a ready bitmap for the Web in any format.

So this is my 'but '. I took your file and changed the times of other executives. I saved it as a PNG Fireworks. I then went to the file > preview image and choose animated format GIF. From the Animation tab, I set the number of loops 3 and exported. Then, I saved the .png to store the information of the loop.

    Here's the .png (474 k):

Here is the animation (303 k):

Given that the format of .gif does ' t have the colors to reproduce good pictures, I always recommend that you look at the Image Rotator. Here are scripts that can go through a set of images. See this thread:

I use Fireworks to create a prototype web site. As part of the site, I imported an animated GIF file. However, when I export the site in HTML format, the image is not animated.

Make sute the animated GIF is in a slice of its own, and that the range is set to export as a gif animated. You can optimize this last in the Panel.

  • GIF animated signature mail (mac vs PC)

I made a signature with an animated gif. It works fine in mac to mac. But the PC can't see it. I actually put the gif online and linked to it in my email signature, so that could be the problem. But the advantage of this is that the mail does not seem to have an attachment. I'd love to make it work on the PC too. Any suggestions?

    (El Capitan, Apple Mail)

How email is displayed depends on how the recipient has configured his email client. If you send me the email containing the gif animated in the signature I would not see it no more. Several mail users configure their e-mail client to not display images, because images can contain a web tracking bugs/tags.

    Hello Colinito,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I should be able to help with this.
When sending Email through Hotmail instead of copying and pasting the image at the end of the email click the icon 'Paper click' and add the photo as an attachment.

Receiving the recipient will be able to view the animation as usual.

I hope I could help today and this has answered your question. If you have more questions or problems please reply back and I'll be more then happy to assist you with them.

  • Can't open gif animated in the form of layers

    Hello, community.

I try to open the gif animated in the form of layers and I get a message saying cannot open the file. I tried searching online and could not find answers, not answer the similar question on this forum as well. It is no longer possible?

I was not using Photoshop for quite awhile, but I remember that I was able to do as import it in option layers in CS6. I remember that I have installed quicktime video. Here is the link to the gif, I've tried to import in the form of layers:

    http://25.media.Tumblr.com/2b398fc17c360138095c64ff8c68c37f/tumblr_mfruslyymP1rveeejo1_500 .gif

    I use Photoshop 2015.

    Please notify.

    Thank you in advance.

May I know you use - file > import > video image to layer.

Click file > open and select the gif file.

It will automatically open with layers

  • Set the range of images to the gif animated Flash

Exactly what the title says it is far from limiting what frames get sequenced off Flash during an animation. GIF? With one. SWF, I simply write a stop(); action on the last frame, but the. GIF cares As there is nothing in publication for setting a range settings. GIF.

No support of the range. You will need to adjust well with another program, especially the one who supports the directives of GIF animations as stop and loop X times, like Fireworks, etc.

I'd be a real problem, but you can convert the motion tweens in animations frame by frame (right click on a motion tween, the option is there). You can then cut out frames on each side. It is however is a rather messy solution.

  • Can I add GIFs animated to my project and publish as HTML5?

I have created several projects with Adobe Captivate 7 and added GIFs animated in my project. When I publish, GIF animations are animated only when changing SWF. When I play the HTML5 the GIF version only shows the first image.

Is it possible for me to publish my Adobe Captivate project for GIFs animated when viewing the output of the HTML5?

I think I found the solution and want to update in case someone else runs into this.

I have posted successfully to HTML5 until I DELETED all the GIFs that were currently in my library and then reinserted them. Once I deleted the GIFs from my Captivate library and then reinserted by clicking the Insert-> Animation menu option, I published that HTML5 and my GIFs were intact.

Please note that I had completely replaced all my GIFs with the Insert-> menu option before Animation (instead of drag / drop) and this has not fixed the problem. It worked only once I deleted all the GIFs first.

    Thank you!

  • How can I control the gif animations?

I have a project where I need some animations. The animations, that all have been created in After Effects. Now I can use png sequences, but these are very big and I need much the animations running on the same time. So I prefer to use gif animations. So my question: I can control when to play the animated gif but I can't play more than once. Is there a solution?

    Thanks for responding!

    Jannis

    Hello

I see... you control when it displays. Technically, this is not the same thing that control the animated GIF; you just control when you see it. EA only recognizes GIF as image format and can not make the browser plays from the beginning as the first time that it is displayed or when it performs a back loop (if your animated looping GIF).

However, you could do something similar with an additional image file or two, jQuery and css background-image "load" the GIF file into a transparent image. Here is a link to an example that always runs the GIF animated from the beginning:
