Gigabit LAN connection suddenly very slow
I have a Win 7 x 64 bit machine on a gigabit LAN. Until recently, the transfer of files to and from premises this machine have been rapid as expected (50% of the capacity was not unusual). Suddenly, the transfers are phenominally slow done barely 0.1% of capacity. It's only the transfers to/from this machine, other machines have no problem unless the transfer involves a machine.
I tried all sorts of things (by disabling Windows Firewall, disabling Security Essentials, the machine running in SafeMode with networking and a variety of other things suggested on the net), but nothing improves nothing.
Interestingly, WAN transfers are faster than LAN transfers (I get use 1.5% or more using my ISP speed control), which suggests that this may be a specific problem of the Protocol.

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Answers forum! Try to start your Windows 7 computer toSafeMode w / Networking to see if the slow file transfer problem. There may be third-party software that are causing your problem. If the problem persists, try to perform aclean boot to see if that fixes the problem. I bought a Satellite Pro L500 a couple of weeks (Windows 7 and Realtek 8191SE). I have no problem connecting to public networks, but I can't use it at my place, where I have a broadband cable connection.
The strange thing is that, in the same room, I have no problem with my old A105 Satellite (Windows XP).It is also very strange the fact that, even if the signal is good, sometimes excellent, the connection is very slow and unstable (it disconnects when I try to browse the Internet).
I have already tried:
-Update the Realtek drivers.
-Disconnect the firewall;
-Modification of the properties of the Realtek card.Maybe it's a problem with the software or, on the contrary, with the material?

If you can connect to public networks correctly, I think that this problem is related to your router at home. So I would recommend updating the firmware on your router. You can get it on the page of manufactured goods.
Also try to disable WLAN encryption and MAC address filtering.
By the way: you can access the Internet at home via a cable connection?

- Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
- Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
- Restart Lightroom and see if it works.
- Please make sure you also update of Lightroom to the latest version, which is 6.3 Lightroom

Internet suddenly VERY slow on 1 PC
We have 3 wired connected PC to the router AT & T. 1 of these PCs is suddenly developed a problem. It has very slow internet. It seems to connect OK to websites, but then he's here without loading the page. For example, in Firefox, at the bottom of the browser it says "connected to google.com... or «pending yahoo.com...»» "then it's there. Nothing new has been installed since last week. Question are using wired LAN or Wi - Fi connection. Question is there with Firefox and IE.
Did a clean boot, disable all non-Microsoft services and startup programs.
Tried the wired and wireless connection.
I have tried 2 different browsers.

Disabilities to Norton.
Probably didn't have other things that I don't remember right now.Nothing has helped at all. 2 other PC's have no problem. The 'bad' PC connects very well through the home network - nice and fast.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A660-guest 1GT, bought the Poland and I have a problem with the internet. Where I live there is a wireless router and my laptop connects to the wireless but the internet works very slowly. I have a older laptop which I use in parallel on which the internet is much faster. When I clicked on the network and diagnose the problem, there was a message that the connection seems to be broken. In addition, the number of packages I'm sending is twice or three times less than the package I receive.
I took out the battery, reconfigure power settings, reinstalled both drivers for the LAN and wireless, all uninstalled programs of eternal but the internet is still very slow. I have to wait more than 10 minutes to load a video on youtube. Which, on my old computer, it must be about 1 min. can you please advise me what to do?

Is Internet connection too slow when you connect the Ethernet cable? So, you can determine whether the problem is related to the Internet itself router or WLAN connectivity.
Generally speaking, it is difficult to say something about the WIFI configuration and router. In your case I also get in touch with your internet service provider and ask for the correct router configuration. They can also tell you how to set up the laptop to go online. :)

for three years, I never had any problem with my Mac. Now, all of a sudden, from one moment to the other, it runs very slowly. Also, I have to force every time you start the Mac with pressing the button for a few seconds. When closing the laptop and opening it, it locks again as well (only the screen black, start must be forced).
First thing I noticed was that kernel_task uses up to 400% of the RAM. I tried to find the problem myself, read about kernel_task, and did the following things (without success):
-Updated to the latest version of El Capitan
-Reset NVRAM and SMC
-hardware running apple diagnostics test (Code: ADP000 find anything)
-removal of protected system /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC _PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources to another folder, files and then reboot
-make an EtreCheck.
Can someone help me? Especially to interpret the diagnosis of EtreCheck?

I have problems with my toshiba satellite L500 wireless very slow. I restored the computer back to factory settings, reset the router and do not know what to do. The only way that I am able to achieve and increase speed of internet is by connecting the laptop to the router.
There are 3 other laptops in the House which is the same model, this laptop runs very fast. My router is a Thomson TG782T.

First, I would try to update the WLAN driver. Download the latest version on the Toshiba site and then delete the old version. Reboot the laptop and use CCleaner to clean the system. Restart again and now you can install the latest WLAN driver.
I put t know what operating system you have, but on Vista and Windows 7, you must disable the WLAN energy saving function. You can do this in Windows power management if you change power management.
I had a similar problem and after removing the energy saving function, it worked fast and normal as on other laptops. :)

Basically connect to the interface web (usually via http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 web page with the username "admin") and change the password in the configuration / administrative to something (I suggest 15 + characters including letters - upper and lower case, numbers and symbols) and then find the wireless configuration and change the password for it to something other than the administrative password - but with the same suggestion. If she uses WEP and you have all the relatively new devices (all purchased in the last 7 years) then I suggest change you in WPA. If possible, replace WPA2.

I have a printer HP LaserJet 100 color MFP M175a, which has always worked well (except when in cooling mode). All of a sudden he started printing very slowly: for example, last night I sent a document of 20 pages to print at about 21:00 and was still waiting for it to end at midnight!

Have you tried another USB cable? Just to rule out it.
Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.
On the printer, select the Setup button, reports, report of Config.
That print slow or fast?
If you encounter this problem with printing of the hardware self-test also, update the firmware of the printer.
Software & drivers. Select your operating system, click Next, click the link for the firmware.
If you're just the printing of the computer problem, uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

Pages loading suddenly very slow
My Muse site is suddenly loads very slowly after uploading to the FTP host. Pages were never responsible for slowly before. I did a lot of work with the site, including the addition of a few new images. The biggest change I've done today has been on every page (about 12 pages in total) of the fluid width value. They all use the same master page, which is also set to fluid and with the same dimensions. There's just a breaking point, which is preparing for the width of the pages (1200 px). I have everything set to resize, leaving just as I had when the pages have been fixed-width. I have done some testing yesterday and noticed that the pages of 1200 px showed acceptable on desktop and on the iPad and computers Samsung Tab.
I have a dedicated telephone version of the site.
As a test a few days ago, I put a second breakpoint on a couple of pages to 968 px. Ipad and tablet devices were not demonstrating these pages as though they did the normal version of px 1200 I removed the px 968 breakpoint. It's after that to change today that the site was a poster very slowly on the devices I have check on (after uploading on the website of the host). Pages that would load almost instantly take 20 seconds or longer to load.
Some time ago I also tried uninstalling Muse by deleting all the files in library preferably. Then installed a clean place. Nothing changed after that I checked all pages and uploaded on the FTP host site.
Someone at - it suggestions? Thank you very much.

Hi all, I have recently been faced with a problem hindering my Macbook Pro 13-inch mid-2012. I was using my computer - as I do regularly - watch videos, listen to music, play video games, etc. (the usual activities of the summer), and my computer seems slow down suddenly. The videos are now restless and I have to wait an excruciatingly long time to load. He is fighting same - showing the Rainbow ball of death - when I open a new finder window or a tab on Google. Start the system also takes at least twice as long as he had done before. So I went looking for a solution to the problem. I updated my computer to Yosemite 10.10.5, as I had not updated for a while, erased some decent space on the permissions of my 500 GB HDD (105 GB free space), checked and readers on the disk utility and tested my material on Apple Hardware Test. Nothing I've done seems to fix or help the problem. I got this computer from early 2013 and have had a few problems with the computer, but nothing I couldn't fix easily, so when I couldn't find the solution to my problem with hours of violin, I thought that I would like to ask the community. Is it typical, is there a known solution? If this is not the case, what can help? Let me know if you need additional information about almost anything. Thank you!
