  My company is changing from iPads to the Microsoft surface and we adapt the marketing tools for the new devices.

  We use Adobe Content Viewer to display the new brochures and price lists and we never had problems with the iPad, the URLS are linked to RP files in the cloud of our society.

  Now with the surface when we push the button to open the PDF inside Adobe Content Viewer, Windows opens Internet Explorer and ask to download the pdf file.

  Is it a chance again, I can open a PDF inside the app or was just a feature of the iPad? Any advice?

  Hi John,.

  This feature is specific to the iPads because of how iOS handles links to PDF files. Neither Android nor Windows have the same OS level support so that you get the behavior you describe.

  Hi guys,.

  The Adobe Content Viewer from the Google game (May 1, 2013) is both compatible and works fine on my phone Nexus 4. We understand that added compatibility of Android phone could ask side poor app as the buttons/controls will be difficult to type on small screens. But the Editor could add these limitations to the app description. So my question is if Android phones support can be added to the custom as a box Viewer check option, please.

  In folio Builder - I built the folio, added to the article...

  To test your retail sale slips, do not use the Adobe Content Viewer. Instead, use the development Viewer (.ipa) you create in DPS App Builder.

  Adobe Content Viewer shows the following:

  * Folios downloaded producer Folio (they have a bunch of blue Lightning)

  * Folios added through preview on the device (they have a bunch of blue connector)

  * Folios published as free and Public or private

  * Folios that were downloaded from any account (they remain until you delete them)

  In your application development, you don't see no folios Folio producer (blue band), which are for the tests. The dev app shows only folios, either free, or retail, published in Public.

  Adobe Content Viewer for Indesign CS6 disappeared of my application, and after downloading AdobeDigitalPublishingCS6 and reinstall the content viewer it will still not start.

  Sorry for such a fundamental issue... but someone knows whether the "Adobe Content Viewer" for Iphone?

  I mean is it possible to look at the files .folio created for Ipad also on the Iphone?

  There is no Content viewer for iphone/ipod touch for the moment.  It has been dicussed in pre-release to develop the solution for Iphone/ipod touch with office and webviewers.  I don't know if it's still on the roadmap... but the last I heard it was.

  There are a few things to consider when you are trying to do... when your taking something you developed especially for a 10 inch screen and it dimming down to a 3.5-4 inch screen.  In the past usually go the other way... where they make their first iphone app... and then expand its capabilities and space of the user interface on the ipad.

  Works fine on Mac, PC, iOS... BUT no joy on the plethora of mobile we tried on...  Samsung Galaxy S3 and various other...

  We supported with the new viewer native Android Smartphones since it was released in February. Go to http://appbuilder.digitalpbulishing.acrobat.com/ to build the new viewer instead of the legacy version that does not support phones.

  After the upgrade to the new Adobe Content Viewer for Android, text inside a sliding pixelated of blurred subject become. It looks exported with high compression JPEG.

  The same folio posted on the old version of hovercraft for Android (and also on iOS) is OK.

  Changing the settings of export of the object in inDesign are no effect.

  Someone has experienced this problem?

• Opening Folio blocks Viewer on Android

  Hi guys,.

  We tried "Adobe Content Viewer" and "advice of DPS' apps for Android on the HP TouchPad under latest CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0.4): cm-9-20130512-all NIGHT - tenderloin.zip

  And have still the problem at the opening of the folio blocks the application with the error:

  "Unfortunately, the Adobe viewer has stopped."

  First we thought is CyanogenMod distro problems but then read that other people also having the same problem even on the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab, please see the notice below.

  Anything could be done so it will start to work? Are there non pneumatic version currently in development?

  Connection and download fine, but hangs as soon as you open any publication. Update 11/02/13: always crashes as soon as you open a publication at the same time my nexus galaxy and galaxy tab (both running Jelly Bean).   Is the direct application/Viewer in Google play below V25? If so, update your application to the last spectator V26/V25. There are important changes to V25 in order to avoid this type of crash behavior.

  I have a Folio that uses an HTML overlay to create a ken burns on the images. The folio works very well in the Office Viewer and Adobe Content Viewer iPad. It blocks the Viewer on Android.

  I see that beta support has been added for Android TV in one of the beta versions of AIR 20. Read this discussion:

  It seems that you would have used equip 185 and not the final version. Or you can try an AIR 21, or 22 AIR beta version.

• Adobe Viewer interface of conflict

  I'm developing an App catalog for the company that I work for the use of DPS tools.

  For reasons of design, I am obliged to put a series of interactive buttons at the edge all the way down the screen so that they do not interfere too much with the rest of the design.

  Test the application inside the Adobe viewer it seems to work correctly. My only concern is that so look near the edge of the screen may cause a conflict with the viewer interface (the white bars that appear at the top and bottom of the screen) or by the iPad interface.

  So my question is: these white bars always appears when the application is published to the iTune store? The buttons are likely to conflict with other interactive features of the device?

  Whatever the experience you get while you use Adobe Content Viewer for testing is the same experience, you will see when you do your custom application and submit it to the iTunes store.

  When I try to play videos in an "app" in the Adobe Viewer, I get the error message that the media could not be read and that I should check my internet connection. But the videos are embedded in the app and not just a link url. I did with videos of the app in InDesign in 3 years and it has worked so far offline. What's wrong?

  Yes, as Trevor mentioned, with the bridge, you can press the space bar and the images will become full framework, then you simply use the arrow keys to scroll though them and the space bar to return to the visualization of bridge normally. There is also a slide show option.
