• Opening Folio blocks Viewer on Android

  Hi guys,.

  We tried "Adobe Content Viewer" and "advice of DPS' apps for Android on the HP TouchPad under latest CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0.4): cm-9-20130512-all NIGHT - tenderloin.zip

  And have still the problem at the opening of the folio blocks the application with the error:

  "Unfortunately, the Adobe viewer has stopped."

  First we thought is CyanogenMod distro problems but then read that other people also having the same problem even on the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab, please see the notice below.

  Anything could be done so it will start to work? Are there non pneumatic version currently in development?

Update 11/02/13: always crashes as soon as you open a publication at the same time my nexus galaxy and galaxy tab (both running Jelly Bean).   Is the direct application/Viewer in Google play below V25? If so, update your application to the last spectator V26/V25. There are important changes to V25 in order to avoid this type of crash behavior.

• Cover previews and missing titles in the content viewer Adobe Android

  We test a folio using the new adobe content viewer for Android. All previews cover are empty in our library, and there is no title. All you can see are the blue snipes with the lightning on each. Since we have 10 + folios in this id, he makes extremely difficutlt to test. Anyone else encounter this problem and know a fix?

  We took a glance to this today. There is no image portrait cover associated with any one of the folios in the account. If there is no portrait cover provided that we can not show you add portrait covers, and then they'll show.

  The same goes for the missing titles. The Android Viewer shows the Folio number under the cover, and that is empty on your slips.

  Unfortunately, you cannot change the format of an existing folio. I think that at this point, your best bet is to create a new custom folio of 1028 x 771. Because this folio has the same 4:3 1024 x 768 dimensions, you can add or import all of your source documents in this new folio without having to change the source folios.

  Hi, I am setting up an android Viewer application and have successfully crossed producer folio and generator app DPF - now, I check the .apk file on my Samsung Tablet and am surprised by TWO folios to my "library". I also have the iPad app that should not be there.

  Do I have to use two different app - IDS (identifiers containing a valid e-e-mail-address) for the Android and the iPad version of my Viewer application?

  Android apps are always folio many viewers. So if you have published two folios by using the same title ID (account applications) they both will show in your library. Remember, an Android device adapts folios to adapt to the screen, while the iPad can only display folios with a 4:3 aspect ratio. See creating Folios DPS for Android devices. You can use accounts different applications to publish your folios to circumvent this problem.

• Content Viewer showing Android is no longer "renditions" of phone?

  We have made no changes to our naming conventions, but noticed that on Android phones, content viewer load only the rendering of the Tablet (1024 x 768) of our pub.  This didn't use to be the case, it will display all the renditions which was very good, we used it only for proofing.  The application itself has made set for mobile and tablet, it's just not, we are missing versions of phone for proofing.

  We have not eliminated any changes to the "renditions" in the observer of Android. You were not working through some problems of rendering with the Windows viewer recently? What you see in the Adobe Content Viewer is the correct behavior: only available formats are displayed.

  If you have seen more than one in the past, it was because your "renditions" are not configured correctly, just as you saw in the Viewer Windows. You probably did not notice this in your production application like you have forced specific rendering through App Builder selection (which is an advanced feature and are not normally needed).

  I installed Adobe Content Viewer 2.8.0.0.59744 on my tablet, and it fails just at the beginning (black screen and error message) I tried to reinstall several times, but the same thing happens.

  RAM memory: 1 G
  

  Anyone having the same problems? A small idea of what can do about it?

  I m thinking, maybe a v21 or viewer v20 work on my camera, just to see the work until adobe Gets a new version that woks on Android, but I find can´t Content Viewer 2.5, only 1.8

  Finally, I can download folio v20 files in the content viewer 2.6, it works fine, but I hope that this problem with allwinner devices will be resolved in the new versions. Thanks for all the help.

• What is the best (fastest) way to convert Apple folios (iPhone and iPad), Android (phone and tablet)?

  We have an app for Apple devices multifolio and we will include an Android version.

  How is the best and fastest way to do it?

  Do I have to copy all my source files (* _v.indd) in another folio folder set and run through them, scaling to adapt to the direction of Android, i.e. to convert form 1024 x 768px to 2560 x 1600. (I know it leaves a black band, I can always fill it up).

  And something similar for versions of phone?

• Missing folios on Amazon's Android App

  Hello

  We have created an Amazon application using the DPS and our show only free folios - why would it? If we missed something?

  our application is a Multi with law and subscriptions Amazon app.

  We have not added custom NAV icons.

  Our subscription by default in App Builder SKU is the Amazon developer for our subscription SKU. i.e. com < Publisher >. < magazine > .inscrit

  Any idea that we might be missing? the documentation for Android is SPARC (unlike for iPad)

• Cannot close the folio Content Viewer on iPad

  Hi all

  Downloaded folio of the student to test. Didn't know it was a sequence of images covering the entire screen. This means that I can not navigate on the folio, to return to the library, to delete it – like everything I do is activate the sequence of images when I press on it. I tried canceling publication by producer Folio, but it is still on my iPad. Any suggestions?

  PS: Also removed in Folio Builder in InDesign... always there.

  Try to close all the application by double pressing the home button and

  by dragging the STROKE off the coast. Then reopen the content viewer.

  Phase II of the 29 release is now online. You can go and rebuild your Android application using App Builder and created app will run on Android 4.4.

  The Adobe Content Viewer from the Google game (May 1, 2013) is both compatible and works fine on my phone Nexus 4. We understand that added compatibility of Android phone could ask side poor app as the buttons/controls will be difficult to type on small screens. But the Editor could add these limitations to the app description. So my question is if Android phones support can be added to the custom as a box Viewer check option, please.

• DPS Viewer for Android mobiles

  Since the launch of our publication on the IPAD and the IPhone, we received many requests from customers to launch the publication on android devices.

  After an investigation, most of the requests come from people with Samsung S2, S3 Samsung, Sumsung Note and Nexus 4 devices.

  I did a lot of research in the best way to publish on mobile android forum, but everything I found was complicated workarounds that doesn't seem to work properly.

  I would like to know what is the best way to target devices from my "renditions" ipad/iphone current. With the growing popoularity of android mobiles, this is becmoing more pressing than ever before.
