Glitch Safari

I get an error message when I try to connect to Outlook.com via Safari.  He said that my request has been routed too many times and try again later.  I have for more than a month without result.  I see the address flash progress bar a bunch of times it tries to open my session, instead of only once.  I can sign in fine using Opera.  How can I fix Safari?  I use Yosemite 10.10.5 on a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 w/8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 and 1 TB of storage.

Ive had my 6plus iPhone for over a year now and I've never had this problem.

  • Access iCloud photo library on iPhone

    iPhone 6 + 128 GB
Latest version of the software running
A lot of memory on the phone on the left

I recently went to Apple to try to fix a problem of very small software (safari repeatedly crashing) I got with my phone.  The solution? A clean wipe of the phone.  If that's what I did.  However, I went home with what should be a solved problem, and he was always to be funny.  Being me, I'd rather have a glitch safari with all my previous settings and tact on my entire phone apps to have a glitchy safari while trying to drop my phone back to a semblance of normality.  In these circumstances, I restored my latest backup (which was the day before) and had my phone 'back' to me.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get pictures of my iCloud is displayed on my iPhone.  I can see them on my PC via iCloud.com, they are always there, but I have NO idea how to make back to my phone.  I tried to turn the iCloud photo library button in the settings of the iPhone, but it does not, either.  I don't mind even if they don't come back to my iPhone (although, in the end, I would have PREFERRED that, as I tend to look back in time with photos of my kids and doing collages with current photos), but I just want to be able to ACCESS.  Like... whatever it is at this point, really, to be able to see the pictures on my iPhone.

I tried searching everywhere on how to accomplish only access photos of icloud for iphone, but everywhere only gives advice on photos of the icloud iphone, which I'm perfectly capable of doing.  It's just the opposite, that seems to be annoying.

    Can anyone help?

Just a guess - in addition to the activating/deactivating the key to iCloud in the settings of the iPhone photo library, I would also try signing out & in icloud - perhaps with a reboot or restart forced between the two.

    Hello

Safe Mode boot removes the system caches that can help after upgrading to a new OS X.

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

Then try Safari. I hope that the Finder cannot quit unexpectedly or the other.

Same problem here. MacBook Pro in early 2011, Yosemite (later).

Tried blocking it with the color synchronization utility, permission repair, restart, virus check etc. Nothing works. Some images present yourself as a mishmash of images of the previously loaded page.

  • Safari and Chrome

I have the retina iMac 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015.  I have run all the updates of El Capitan and am always current.  I was using Safari years without major problems or concerns.  Recently, I had a "glitch" with two experience various websites who advised me that if I would use a Chrome browser, the problems would be clear.  One of these sites is important to me and I use it every day.  The problem I have is annoying but not a deal breaker.  The other site is insignificant, but when I came across this question, it motivated me to post these questions that have been simmering for some time.

I have two questions.  First of all, can I install Chrome and then open and use Safari and Chrome without the risk of conflict or other technical problems?  (I am NOT a knowledgeable technician).

Second, there are significant benefits to Chrome on Safari? I use Google as my search engine.  I heard from several people that once they switched to Chrome, they stopped using Safari.

    Hello

Yes, you can use Chrome and Safari at the same time without any problems or risks. Be aware that you can choose a browser by default at the same time, but you can always change

I use Chrome for several years and there are no significant benefits. I think it's just a matter of taste.

    Greetings!

  • Lost folder Safari bookmarks

Safari 9.1.1. : I was a change in editing very simple bookmark to bookmark files - by changing the order of the folders so a folder was closer to the top of the list because of its importance for me.   Received an error message that says could not do it because the favorites were the synchronization, please try again in a few minutes.  WAITED 5 minutes and moved the folder closer to the top of the list.  However, when I opened that folder of bookmarks, the bookmarks disappeared.  It happened after the synchronization message.  What is causing this glitch and do for restore missing bookmarks

You can only restore the entire file of bookmarks to a previous state. It is not possible to restore the individual bookmarks.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select, then copy it to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

    ~/Library/Safari

    Quit Safari.

    Select

    Go ▹ go to folder

in the Finder menu bar. Paste it into the text box that opens by pressing Command + V, then press return.

Should open a folder window. Restore the file named "Bookmarks.plist" in this folder from a previous backup of the changes unwanted.

If you don't have such a backup, but the Favorites are still present on an iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) device that synchronizes with iCloud, then see below.

Save your iOS devices. Turn off sync iCloud Safari on all devices except those. Quit Safari and delete the bookmarks on the Mac, and then enable synchronization Safari on it. Launch Safari. Bookmarks must synchronize icloud.

  • Help in Customizing Safari 9.1.1. ?

I recently migrated my data Safari and Firefox to an old Macbook with a new Macbook Pro, OS 10.11.5. Since I am more familiar with Firefox on my old computer, I put Firefox as my default browser. My Firefox setup and preferences are fine, but every time I open Safari 9.1.1 (with which I am familiar), I will meet with minor but annoying glitches.

Is there a single Apple Support article that I can go that will help me configure Safari the way I want and also to correct these problems?  I looked on the Apple Support but cannot locate an article with the basic instructions.  Thanks for any help out there!

    (1) at the opening, Safari always wonder if I want to make my default instead of Firefox browser, even if I said 'No' several times.

    (2) even if I set Google.com as my homepage in the Sys/general Prefs, instead of Google, Safari still opens to a page showing my favourites from the toolbar, I want and as icons, which I don't want.

    (3) safari opens with a sidebar on the left: 'Favourites' at the top with a star, then a folder called Menu bookmarks, then a few records more configuration of Safari, I've updated well before I migrated and beneath them a bunch of various favorites that appear to be the remains of "Unsorted Bookmarks."  Not sure if these are old favorites or toolbar items.

    (4) I want the toolbar to resemble the Firefox toolbar, running at the top of the screen. Is it possible to do?

UPDATE: Re #4: I just discovered how to make the toolbar appear in Safari 9.1.1, so please skip this question.  (My last version had the hide-and-show the functionality of the toolbar.)  So now, my only problem is how to get the opening page as I want (# 1, 2 and 3).  I do not know there is an article somewhere to make it easy - thanks again for your suggestions.

  • The colors for my Google calendar disappeared. I can see with Safari and Chrome, but not with Firefox.

I use Windows 7. I tried to delete the cookies and cache. Nothing has changed. There is no similar problem with all other browsers: Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer. I restarted my computer. I had to send this chrome because Firefox does not load correctly your site after many attempts. The colors seem to be rinsed at each site. Is there an easy way to restore the colors?

    Thank you.

Firefox fits pretty well most of the themes of Windows 7, but in some cases, there may be glitches, particularly with the themes "high contrast".

You are allowing Web sites to specify their colors or their substitution? This is a setting that you can change in the Options.

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > content

Click on the 'Colors' button and make sure that the box is checked for "allow pages to choose their own colors".

  • Finder keeps glitching even just after relaunch

I had trouble with my MacBook Pro recently. Whenever I try to open Finder, it opens a window which is all the glitch. When apps are trying to use the Finder in the same phenomenon occurs. I try to restart the Finder, the problem goes away for a few seconds and then it's all the bug once more.

I use a MacBook Pro 13-inch, mid 2010 and here are the specs:

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB

    Software  OS X 10.9.3 (13D 65)

    Any suggestions?

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

    Step 1

The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.

Test while signed in as a guest. Same problem?

After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.

    * Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create a new account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.

    Step 2

The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is caused by changes in the system of third party that load automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Please take this step regardless of the results of step 1.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you normally connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of steps 1 and 2.

  • With the help of Yosemite 10.10.5 and safari will not leave for me to restart. Have you tried all the option force quit I know? Any suggestions?

I can't open or close safari when I try to quit he said its opening, but when I try to use it - it is not opening or answer. Safari is not rich in the dock as it should be when opened can not restart normally as safari is open. Force quit won't go beyond that. I'm stuck. Help!

If forced to leave in the Apple menu doesn't do nothing I guess you will have to hard reboot: press and hold the power switch up to the farm of Mac down, gives him a minute or two for the disc to spin down and then starts normally with the power button.

Do you think day as Backup just in case the problem is a sign of something bigger than just a glitch in Safari?
