    Syn66,

    Looks like your code without taking into account the fact that the Images are passed by reference. It seems that you still spend the same image GetImage and then put it in your queue. Each iteration you will be overwrite the content of the image of the singular and all the elements in the queue is pointing to the same data of the image.

    If you want to structure your code like this, you'll probably want to create an image of each iteration of the loop, call GetImage use it and then put it in the queue. When you treat it and get out of the queue, you can then destroy it. You can optimize the image allocate/free sentence (which may or may not be meaningful) with a strategy of ping-pong by having a separate queue images empty and then you delete the images of this queue empty, GetImage to use and place it in your existing queue of images to process. After the treatment, instead of simply releasing them you would put them back in the empty queue.

  • How to add Basler acA2040 - 180 km/kc as target in VBAI?

    I am a newbie to Labview and VBAI, which a basler ACE model acA2040 - 180 km/kc, how could I add it as a target in VBAI?

    I am also having a (F - 033 B AVT Guppy) camera interface IEEE1394, how could I add it as a target too?

    I use my own PC system, connection times IEEE1394 and camera camera link to my PC grabber.

    It work?

    I couldn't see any device detected in MAX... Or do I need any additional configuration?

    It looks like no cameras are detected in MAX. They should not be under the ports series and parallel, but under the NOR-IMAQ devices and peripherals section OR-IMAQdx. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like, and you will see a button Snap and Grab in MAX to ensure that your acquisition works well. Once you get here, then VBAI will be no problem either.

    Here'ws a general link to the installation/configuration troubleshooting.

  • Emulator CVS displays bitmap color black and white images

    I use a VBAI2009 inspection on 1454 CVS which uses a camera firewire AVT Guppy F - 036C. This system is on a production machine inspect the product we make. VBAI uses the legacy IMAQ for IEEE 1394 on a CVS not the driver IMAQ-dx cameras. The VBAI script contains several steps function color inspection. To get the AVT camera to display the color, I had to install the files of MAX camera using the Bayer color tab because Bayer settings are not accessible from the driver on the CVS IMAQ. I'm no adjustment of the camera of the VBAI. This configuration works well and has worked for 6 months on the machine of production without any problem.

    Now, I need to edit the VBAI script but can't stop the machine to make the changes and test the program. I captured images bitmap using MAX during the inspection was installed 6 months ago and they stored on my host for just such an occasion. I am using these captured images and the CVS emulator in VBAI to make the changes to the program offline. I performed the inspection under the CVS emulator and the acquisition stage is configured to point to the captured bitmap images using the button Configure Simulation settings. The problem I have is that bitmaps are displayed as black & white in the emulator, even if these are images of color seen with paint. I can't find a way to fix this. Is - this problem as a result of using the parameters of Bayer to create the image color or something else in the emulator? The emulator, no installation of color image treats?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Mark

    The stages of acquisition camera record video mode information used to acquire images. If you use these steps in emulation mode, it converts the type size and the image to match what has been gained for calibration and processing step use the same type of image. Looks like than the stage thought that the image was mono, even if you got it to be color. I will consider how it could have be saved incorrectly when you use the settings of Bayer. In the short term, you can disable the acquisition stage (don't delete so you do not lose the camera settings saved in step) and use a stage of acquisition of simulation or a new phase in the acquisition of 1394 and won't force the image size/type.

  • camera to trigger external AVT timeout error

    Hello forum,.

    I have external trigger problems for work to the MAX with my AVT F032BC camera Pike.   I was able to get the camera both in labview and MAX (at 800mbps using firewire 1394b) using software release, but I can't get the switch to work.  Whenever I try random configurations in MAX to trigger mode (mode of 0.1, 15; and each setting relaxing high or low), it just expires when I press grab.

    I have a trendy 12 hirose connector on it, with the trigger (4 pins) and GND (pin 1) connected to a TTL pulse generator (5V high low 0V; a relaxation area who worked with another camera).

    Any ideas why this happens?  In addition, anyone know of documentation for the implementation of an external trigger with camera AVT?

    Thank you!

    Veritas

    p.s. I also tested it with the example of NOR, triggered grab, but it also expires, or will be set on the trigger 'off' option when I start the program execution.

    Without triggering, everything else seems to work very well.

    PIN 7 (I/O ground) and PIN 4 (GPI1) for trigger connections. Tyr, you'll like it

  • AVT picture becomes clearer

    Hi VG,.

    As a member of the AVT support team, I am pleased to announce that there is an easy solution via a firmware update.  When the 146 first Guppy is out, initial firmware version turned out exactly the behavior you describe... namely a number of frameworks for the black level adjust;  for example, we see the phenomenon that after a reboot, then he moved to the correct value.

    There was a revised firmware available since a few months, which is easily installable via the Firewire 1394 a cable and an AVT software utility.   Please contact us at [email protected] or http://www.goavt.com/supportDesk.aspand we will provide you with the firmware and simple instructions.

    Sorry for the disruption, but we will be happy to help you get this improved the installed firmware - it only takes a few minutes and will completely correct the phenomenon that you see now.

  • 5 d MkIII. D 5 triggers flash or inconsistent shutter static onstage.

    Test my new ABF-800 flash with my 5 D MkIII. Settings of 5 d on M, sync flash by power cord. The 5 d arbitrarily decides to trigger the shutter & flash or not and even trigger not shutter at certain times, with no changes in the scene. Any ideas of what's going on?

    On a 5 d III, you can replace a large number of stuf you can't control on other boxes.  But in general... If the camera is in One Shot mode and AF is enabled on the lens, then the camera will NOT take the shot until it can confirm that it was able to lock focus at least one area of focus.

    If a dedicated Canon flash flash was in the shoe, the AF assistance light beam is (once again... by default but it can be disabled) to help the development of camera (it casts a light distribution on the subject that the camera can easily block on and focus.)

    Since you have a 5 d III (so those who might be reading this who do not have this same camera body - ignore this, because your camera will not have this definition) follow these steps:

    Press Menu

    Go to magenta 'AF' tab page 3 (there are 5 subpages in the AF section... you want to the 3e)

    Navigate down to select which reads "One-shot AF release prior." (it's the release priority setting), then press the Set"" button.

    It will show two options... 'Libération' and 'Focus' - change to 'Release' and press the 'Set' button (and whatever you do... DO NOT FORGET THAT YOU CHANGE this or you you'll regret later.)

    What you have done is changed the camera to "Priority Focus" to "release shutter priority.  Here's what this means:

    Normally, when you're in one-shot mode (and most Canon bodies work this way), the camera is in mode 'Put priority to the point'.  That means that when press you the shutter button completely to take a picture, the unit computer photo says that the most important factor is to ensure that the image is FOCUSED... BEFORE the shooting.  The camera takes really the shot by the time the shutter button is pressed completely - he waits until it can confirm that it has locked focus at least one area of focus.  In a lot of light, this all happens very quickly.   However... If the camera cannot lock focus at all (lack of contrast, not enough light), no beam for accent-assistance to the rescue, etc. etc. then it will actually refuse to take the picture... it'll be like the unit is defective (it isn't... it did what it said to do that is not take a picture until it can confirm the first update.)

    When a Canon camera's AI Servo (other agencies Canon - not your 5 d III) mode, the camera is changed to "release priority".  It means that the computer in the camera is said to take the picture as soon as you press the shutter button... COMPLETELY and it will, if it was over the focus or not (and it is VERY important that remember you that.)  In this mode it is yours for only half-press (or if you have reassigned the button of the development of a "back" button) to ensure the update is completely before pressing the button completely.  There are reasons why you would like a camera behaves this way - often in a situation you may have worn before the camera anticipating the action and the most important is to take the picture at this "decisive moment."

    On your 5 d III, you can actually change the priority of the release shutter or developed by the settings in menu and it will work regardless of whether the device is in "One Shot" vs mode "HAVE Focus".

    But do not forget that you changed it... or the next time you're out somehwere and fully press the button, you'll end up with blurry photos because the camera will think that you just decided to skip the update because you knew what you were doing (and which can be annoying when you come back with a whole bunch of soft hits.)

    Hey Rolando,

    I'd be surprised if it was not possible to get your registered service and in collaboration with the SRP540.  I suggest that you open a case with the Small Business Support Center that can help you.  See the following link for more details:

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/docs/doc-13268

    Verify that DNS is configured on your SRP (to ensure that the proxy address is correctly resolved).

    In addition, the diagnosis of packet capture and/or logging system can be used to diagnose the reason why it does not work yet.

    Furthermore - as I've mentioned before, RFC2833 DTMF is referred to as AVT in the configuration interface.  This option is enabled by default, so should be used automatically if required by your service.

  • Configuring the listener and other issues

    I installed 2 instances of database on the same database and the same house database.
    Instances use the same listener. If I try to start the business manager in the browser for both instances,
    Enterprise Manager starts just to the last installed instance. I edited the listener.ora one file
    Add a Description more with another port number as follows:

    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1522))
    )

    for the following content:

    LISTENER_APPDB =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
    )
    )

    now the file looks similar to the following:

    LISTENER_APPDB =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
    )
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1522))
    )
    )

    ADR_BASE_LISTENER_APPDB = D:\app\oracle2

    SID_LIST_LISTENER_APPDB =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = CLRExtProc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = D:\app\oracle2\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1)
    (= Extproc PROGRAM)
    (ENVS = "EXTPROC_DLLS=ONLY:D:\app\oracle2\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\oraclr11.dll")
    )
    )

    I also changed the port of one of the instances in the file tnsnames.ora from 1521 to 1522.
    It is now possible to launch Enterprise Manager in both cases. But after I connect to one of the
    bodies with Enterprise Manager from the logs of the other instance. Is it ok then? Will I have problems
    with this configuration? Should I do something different?

    Second question: if I installed an instance during installation, some patches where
    automatically installed. After that, I installed another instance. Do I have to patch this body too?
    Are the hotfixes installed for the DBMS together or just for a single instance?

    * Third question: if I have 2 case how can I set the parameter btree_bitmap_plans for only *.
    one of the instances? I found the following code to do this:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET "_b_tree_bitmap_plans" = false SCOPE = SPFILE;

    but for which the instance parameter will be defined for both or just one? What I have to choose
    one of the instances? How can I do?

    Published by: 995273 on 21.03.2013 02:49

    Set oracle_sid = your_db_name

    then, in SQL, use command below

    ALTER SYSTEM SET "_b_tree_bitmap_plans" = false SCOPE = SPFILE;

    Do you have any recommendations for the Support of Oracle to use?

    Laughing out loud

    And the use of valid_node and invited_node is fairly lame to start. I always wondered why implemented oracle implementation in their layer of sqlnet at all, being the right place to do the filtering on the router ip.

    So now you must be wondering why a single instance - and no others - used it in the first place. The solution to your dilemma will depend on the answer to this question. It could be that for a particular instance of filtering IP was valid. However, the decision to do so at the level of the layer of tns was wrong, and then pass that instance to a host with other bodies which have different requirements only aggravated the original error.

  • SRM retrieve the Configuration of the Site

    Hello.

    I hope someone can help.  It has been a few months since our start SRM 1 day course and my mind was obviously a little fuzzy on the implementation of MRS.   This is our situation and where I confused me.

    Installed SRM on the site protected with appropriate database configured in this site.

    Installed the plugin for this site SRM.

    Created second DB server in recovery site data base.

    When you try to install SRM in the recovering site, I get the following error message:

    «vCenter server XXXXX was already an extension registered for VMware vCenter site recovery manager are you sure you want to overwrite...» »

    This seems a strange message and still found nothing on the web.  I think I'm this setup entirely wrong, is this the case?

    Thank you very much

    Graeme

    Hi Graeme,

    You have need of two separate instances of vCenter in a SRM configuration, one for your protected site and one for your recovery site.

    It seems to me that both of your bodies MRS. try to connect to a single instance of vCenter which won't work (unless you use the shared recovery site of SRM, but that's another story).

    To resolve this problem, redeploy a new instance of vCenter on your recovery site, and point your recovery site SRM server.

    You should be good to go.
