  So I'm writing a simple alarm style app, and I encountered some problems.  Anyone know the answer to these questions?

  1. the alarm should continue to sound/vibrate/other whatnot until the user intervenes.  I played with the demo of notifications provided by RIM and have it work in the application.  Records of app with the NotificationsManager and the alert plays when I want it.  However... I want the alert that play continuously, not once.  NotificationsConstants contains the CONTINOUS_REPEAT value, but I don't know where that provide as parameter to turn it on.  It does work with the initial method of NotificationsManager.registerSource ().  Anyone know how to implement that?

  2. If I want a shortcut to menu/button to Notifications profile in my application, how I would do this?  Essentially if the user triggers the application in the screen options, how can I provide them with quick access to change their settings for notifications.

  1. you need to create your own clock and call NotificationsManager.triggerImmediateEvent (...)  to repeat the notification.

  So I have this custom formatting script:

  So, if you don't the good input format and press tab, then the app alert little pops up and after clicking OK it moves you to the next field (since you press tab).

  My question is how to do it if the app.alert is run and then to make the previous request of the tab null and you keep in the field that caused the alert app to pop up?

  I downloaded and installed Apps via creative cloud on my desk and they work fine.

  I need manual help offline installed on my desktop. I tried manager help adobe, but it displays no content available for download. I can access online help for any product from adobe from any office application installed. This isn't a problem. But I need to be able to also access the help offline.

• Need help LOCAL for ALL my apps from master collection CS6

  HELP for CS products went down hill every version from CS4. I just installed CS6 master collection and can't get help to work 90% of applications. It shouldn't be so difficult. I shouldn't lose hours searching so enless this damn user seas to try to get simple help for a product. Adobe is just trying to slide off it is supported of the responsibilities on the public.

  I want FULL LOCAL HELP CONTENT for ALL my CS6 master Collection Apps installed on MY machine. and when I click on 'Help' that is what I want. I don't want to go online to get help.

  How to do that and how 'LOCAL' by default for ANY help

  Try this solution of two parts:

  Part i: the Adobe installer helps to use offline Help content (if exists) as a source rather than the configured online help

  1. start Adobe if installed Help.exe on your machine with CS6 products. I found that it installed on my machine Win7 to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Help\Adobe Help.exe. It will open the Adobe help Manager preferences.

  2 Select 'Yes' radio button for 'General Settings' > ' display local help only content:

  Part II: Download and set up help offline (PDF) for your product from the adobe.com website.

  1. read the "help offline use in Adobe products | http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/global/offline-help.html KB download PDF for your CS6 or current CC version helps.

  2. After downloading the PDF locally follow the section "using the help within your Adobe PDF product from" put PDF files on your computer so that it works with Adobe products.

• ExtendScript try/catch difference when the script took the ESTK and Illustrator

  I wrote an ExtendScript for Illustrator using the toolbox toolbox ExtendScript (ESTK).  It works fine when running scripts it in Illustrator from the ESTK (using the target application functionality).

  However when I run it directly in Illustrator (by selecting it in the drop-down file menu > Scripts) I get a runtime error.  Is this normal?  Should I expect differences when you run the script in these two different ways?

  The code point is around the issue of the Illustrator to throw errors when accessing properties that do not always exist.  Connected ESTK the try/catch statement intercepts the error "No such item" and then sets the function returns false.

  When ran directly in Illustrator, the lights error message but the try/catch does not seem to stop the output script.

  The only difference I see is when to run the script in ESTK the dropdown next to the application target dropdown is always (and has only the option) 'main '.  Run the script directly in Illustrator, when the error is thrown this menu option drop-down is set to the 'transient' value.

• Remove the dialog box when you run the app.doscript jsxbin file

  I use InDesign CS6 and write a script loop in ExtendScript Toolkit CS6 (Extendscript ScriptUI 6.1.8 4.2.12)

  I use a file jsxbin inside a loop.  After the jsxbin file is a popup alert dialog appaers script, saying: it's done and I have to click on the ok button, before it will allow my script to continue.  I run the file app.doscript jsxbin ("[jsxbin string here]").  I tried to change the level of user interaction to never interact before running the doscript, but this had no effect.  Is it possible to run the userInteractionLevels.NEVER_INTERACT as a parameter in app.doscript?  OR, is there a way to automatically close the popup alert script when it opens.  I'm trying to avoid having to press the OK button several times that the script is running.

  I'm relatively new to scripting in InDesign.  Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  You're kind of asking for help to hack a jsxbin that isn't yours?

  Well okay, we will try to find a fair solution. First of all, there are good reasons to assume that jsxbin code itself contains instructions forcing userInteractionLevel to INTERACT_WITH_ALL. Something like:

  app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.INTERACT_WITH_ALL;
  // ...
  // Process
  // ...
  alert('Done');
  

  In this case, the parameter userInteractionLevel to NEVER_INTERACT in the calling script will have no effect.

  But, if you are sure that the jsxbin script calls the alert() function, a radical way to bypass the message is to rewrite this function itself:

  // inhibits alert()
  $.global.alert = function(){ };
  
  app.doScript( "[jsxbin string here]" );

  I do not think that you will be able to find one. There is no way that a third-party application could change the function of the power button on this way.

  You don't have to unlock the phone to make an emergency call. There is an emergency button on the lock screen.

  Yes, open a contact > Edit > scroll ring tones/alerts and set a custom ringtone.

• Windows 8 and 8.1 keep disable and re-enable the components themselves.

  I have two systems of windows 8. One is windows 8 and the other is windows 8.1. Both are in older computers that had nine drives installed and a new copy of windows installed on each. They have not been upgraded to windows 7, but they have windows 8 is installed directly on them.

  Both suffer from the same problem that Windows continually disables itself and then it will activate itself.

  Did have any registry editors on them. They are two computers in domain related to a 2008SBS with 20 other domain controller (all windows 7) which are all works well.

  They AVG edition company with nothing but the antivirus remotely connect the installed components (same thing with all other systems). Systems are behind a cisco firewall and the windows firewall. They are perfectly up-to-date.

  They were both installed using OEM licenses.

  None of them have ever android devices connected to them (I've seen similar posts on those causing problems). I ran sfc and dism on both. On one, he claims that he found nothing wrong, and on the other hand he find stuff wrong and said he fixed it, but both are always disable themselves.

  Please help me get this resolved!

  (1) why not the time loop trigger? Is expressions of the folklore of the position by default when you open a file for addition? ("a")

  But it still generates jobs as:

  T3 - IKM Oracle Fusion load

  Load T1_T2 - KM unknown (it is actually IKM Oracle Multi-Insert.GLOBAL)

  There is a solution, but it requires some work on the physical tab.  You must drag the elements around so that you end up with two targets.  The first target loads the multicables at T1 and T2 and the T3 the second target loads.  They must default to run in the series, which is what is needed.  Do not operate in parallel.  I had trouble with the icons at the top left of the updated (blue squares) execution units.  Move to the rear and logical view must correct them.

• Adobe Premiere Pro problem

  I have problems with some of my video files.  When I drag them on in my sequence sometimes audio will separate and go to the correct place and other times the video will go down but not the audio. So when I go through my sequence you have no louder (audio) and video. Not sure why it does this. I even video in the source box and I'll click audio only and then try to drag that to my sequence and it will still go down! Why is this happening? I didn't click anything.  In addition, it is returned with a fx symbol in the left had corner of the video file when it comes down to my sequence (when audio does not come with it).  Any help would be appreciated.
