Gmail incoming messages not visible - FF16.02

Hello-

Like many others here, I have problems to view my incoming messages in Gmail. It works fine in other browsers and in Mode safe FF. However, if I manually turn off all my Add-ons and plug-ins, and then restart FF, it still does not work. I tried to update my Adblock filters and even disable Adblock completely, without success. No one knows what settings in FF might be the cause of this behavior? As well as some other bugs that I meet regularly with updates of FF, it's a problem that I was one step away from leaving FF forever and move to Chrome.

There are errors in the Web Developer > error Console (Ctrl + Shift + J) to this topic?

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

You can try to reset Firefox.

If reset you Firefox and a new profile is created and some of your data (bookmarks, passwords, cookies, form data) is automatically imported and your current profile will be moved on the desktop (old data of Firefox).

You can retrieve more data from the old profile (be careful with this).

    Both computers have POP accounts? With POP by default is to remove the messages from the server. So the other computer can simply be faster from time to time and pick up the message first.

    I'm changing the the font size for incoming messages. Thunderbird "helps," says click on Tools/Options/display/setting in the advanced form.     ALT + T you should get there. Options is under Tools on the menu bar. Pressing alt makes the menu bar appear if not already displayed.

    If you use the AppMenu (square with 3 lines) button click the AppMenu, hover over the Options, and then select Options.

    I reported the error to the user, and she in turn informed his COMPUTER service that verifies that there no virus in his email.  Why is it always happen with any email this user, although other users can open e-mails with success?

    I have an e-mail account that somehow continues to receive email, but email is not visible in the list (see table).

    I would try to repair the file.
    Right-click on the folder and select Properties. Then the Repair folder.

    On rare occasions, this can cause a loss message. Now would be a good time to make a backup, or at least to pass messages that you absolutely must keep in a different folder. Keep the Inbox, small and for incoming mail is a good practice anyway. You should always have other folders to sort the email of "Keeper" in and move them out of the Inbox.

    It's probably something install you to your account on the server. It has nothing to do with Thunderbird.

    I tried this search for a few weeks now, but I am at my whits end. I used to use Messages religiously on my Mac Mini at the office (worked flawlessly). Mini Mac running OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan and the iPhone (iOS 9.3.1). 6Plus My iMessage is related to this computer for reference text as well as my iMac at home (where it still works perfectly), which makes me realize that this is a problem with this particular computer.

    Initially, my computer did not show the authorization code after withdrawing from the transmission of text, then finally she showed. I'm registered, but the contacts that I can iMessage from my iPhone / iPad, appear in green and the message fails to be sent with the message error'[email protected] is not registered with iMessage." However, if they text me, their message appears in the Messages on the computer (aka the synchronization works), but 99.9% of the time my answer to contact fails. Occasionally, one of my answers might send if they text me first. If I close the application however and try their message, it fails with the above error message. By clicking on the coordinates, I can see that they have iMessage, but the app will default to the SMS mode green and do not use the iMessage contacts account. My contacts work fine in the Mail application as well.

    In the Messages preferences, I am connected with the same Apple ID as my phone and iMac at home. I tried signing in and out of Apple ID again, in and out of iMessage on the phone, reset the transmission of text, reset the NVRAM. Zapped all the files associated with the Messages, but the problem persists. OSX will not let me "transplant" another app Messages, because it is an application required by OSX and I don't know how to get around the permissions. When I check "on my Mac", the serial number is visible.

    I have not yet tried to contact the Apple Support to reset my Apple ID iMessages (ID: AppleID-Auth Token) in the hope that I don't have to spend a lot of time on the phone.

    This was very frustrating, because I have many of my clients (and friends) contact directly through iMessage and SMS, and the app was surprisingly easy to communicate to me from my computer.

    Any help and suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

    And the app looks like it is connected but doesn't get sync iMessages copies (it may be difficult without turning off the options for knowledge if you see addressed to iPhone number iMessages or the Apple ID or if in fact they are SMS messages as all incoming messages are gray balloons).

    Mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image controls all remote content.
    I hope change permissions.default.image will make the button reappears.

    Note that the next version of Thunderbird should have a brand new remote content management system.

    I'm not aware of any other solution. You can contact your e-mail provider and ask for help on configuring IMAP. They sometimes step by step manuals (or Web site) that will guide you in the process. I think this should be your best option. Check on your email provider's website if they have a help Web site or simply type in Google the names of suppliers and IMAP.
