  A few days ago I tried to send an email with a large attachment. However, it has not been send so I deleted my account from my iPhone. Once I did, I got a message saying that almost all of my storage has been exhausted. I checked to see and I have about 5 GB of available 64 GB. I connected my iPhone to my computer to check which took all this space and 45 GB of my space is being taken up by the Documents and data. I deleted the old messages, imported pictures to my computer and erased, erase my history on safari, check on iCloud, and allows to remove most of my apps that I have read that the removing applications and later re - download.   If you want your photos backed up, you must import them into the photos on the computer application that synchronize you with. iCloud photo library is a repository for all the photos for a given iCloud ID. However, it is not required for the care of your photos. I do not use iCloud photo library - import my photos into the library of Photos on my Mac.

  A backup of your device iCloud will save your current film, but if you remove anything from this film, then it will not be available for retrieval at a later date, because backups replace the previous backup version. A backup is so not an archive safe for your photos or videos.

  Photo stream keeps the last 30 days or 1000 photos taken with your camera if you have Photo Stream on, but once again, it's a temporary storage that gets crushed.   I have not used a disk of 3.5 inches for many years.  In addition, I have not used any device (USB, CD or DVD) that has / had problems of "whole selfextracting.

  Also, AutoPlay was disabled on my system for years.

  That said, whenever I do a search of file/folder I get "Please insert the last disk of all selfextracting and click OK to continue.

  How can I be to determine:

  1. What causes the error message and/or
  2. How to stop it forever!

  Don't know if you've discovered this done yet for you, but I would say it is your usb flash drive. It happens when he is out BEFORE you used the 'Safely remove' icon on the taskbar.
