  I'm working on the deployment of dot1.x through our company. I'm stuck on configuring Cisco phones to go on one VLAN correct when the multi domain host-mode option is used. I tried on two C2960 switch with two different images. No matter what I do, the phone is going to area: DATA and unable to connect to the network as more likely, it is a wrong VLAN. Poster as authenticated port ISE and MAB works very well. When I set up stream host-mode, the phone Gets a VLAN correct and can top to the network.

  Here is what I use:

  • C2960S-48-i/s-L with C2960S-UNIVERSALK9-M or if C2960 with c2960-lanlitek9 - tar.150 - 2.SE7
  • Phone Cisco 7960 and 7962

• Cisco ACS with external DB - EAP - TLS

  Hi guys,.

  I understand how the EAP - TLS exchange works (I think), but if I have a client (with or without wire) that uses EAP - TLS with a CBS, I confirm the following.

  Let both users and computer certificates are used:

  1. customer and ACS are with each of the other automatic certificates to ensure they are known to each other. The eap - tls Exchange.

  2A. At any given time and I'm assuming until the successful eap - tls message is sent to the client, the ACS to check if the user name or computer name is in the AD database?

  2B. Wot is the parameter that is checked on the AD database?

  Client certificates

  The client certificates are used to identify with certainty the user in EAP - TLS. They have no role in the construction of the TLS tunnel and are not used for encryption. A positive identification is made by one of three ways:

  CN (or name) comparison-compare CN in the certificate with the user name in the database. More information on this type of comparison is included in the description of the subject field of the certificate.

  Comparison of SAN-compare the San in the certificate with the user name in the database. It is only supported from the ACS 3.2. More information on this type of comparison is included in the description of the field another name of the subject of the certificate.

  Binary comparison - compare the certificate with a binary copy of the certificate stored in the database (only AD and LDAP for that). If you use the binary comparison of certificate, you must store the user certificate in a binary format. • Webauth ISE comments error

  With the help of web central authentication 802. 1 x on a 3560 at ISE.  I get on the web portal very well and was able to connect with the guest account and change the password.  Now when I get redirected to the portal each time I login I get "your session has expired.  Please log in again".  The ISE error is see as failed authentication comments square: 86017: Session cache entry missing.

  The session from the browser to the computer ID seems to match the session ID preceding.  I am at a loss.

  The session ID is generated by the switch then is sent to ISE in the access-request packet. What version of ISE are you on? You can upgrade to ise 1.1.2 because there some difficulties related to the writings of the session. I'm fighting a simliar issue that you said out there, but on the side of posturing. Hope the upgrade solves this problem for you. If you want to set a new session id, you can go to ISE and issue a certificate of authenticity (the session stop) or just bounce the port.

• Must move the mouse to display any video and some actions (update). My office windows 7 + FF v35.0

  My system had this problem going back months or years. Read the other threads which were old/treated with previous versions of FF.

  The problem of mouse movement occurs on my system viewing any video. She is also apparent in certain actions such as selecting Refresh or other actions on the page. Unless / until you move the mouse from the action of progress that appears in the tab there is a delay/no action unless / until the mouse is moved.

  Statement of the problem is very simple: Firefox won't create bookmarks.

  New installation with Mint 17. New generation of PC with Asus A58M-A/USB3 motherboard, AMD A4 6300 processor 4 gig memory stick.

  All Mint and Firefox packages are up to date.

  A new profile has been created for the test, Firefox has been started in safemode, purged and re-installed and reset to the default values. None of these actions have contributed.

• Action Center is out of control

  I have reinstalled Windows 7 64 on my HPE-510 t.

  Everything works fine, including Laserjet P1006 and Deskjet 3050 printer and the USB controller.  Test the pages look beautiful.  Drive external drive has no problem talking to the computer.

  I have this icon of the persistent Action Center telling me the printer drivers and the USB driver must be installed.  So I installed the driver laserjet three times, twice deskjet printer driver and USB driver once. Everything works well, as far as I can tell.

  Why don't this recall Action Center and it's all small yellow triangle!  Go away?  I can't think of what I have to do.

  Does anyone have advice?

  You can try this:

  Right click on the Center of the Action in your taskbar and open it > Change Action Center settings >

  Under 'Maintenance Messages' > UNCHECK "Device Software" > OK

• Satellite C850 - problem with driver AMD/ATI GPU

  Windows Action Center lists these 2 problems but no fix available as not connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet. I downloaded the latest driver from AMD, but the problem persists.
  Can someone tell me what to do?
  Also, when I go to Toshiba support there is a new BIOS, new driver WLAN etc., how can I know which of these I should install?

  The computer is a C850, Windows 7, 64 bit.

• Display size reduced after a 8.1 update on HP Pavilion with AMD Radeon HD 8470

  The HP Pavilion Ref.. 500 - 115ed / D7F07EA #ABH with the AMD Radeon HD 8470 display adapter.  has been connected with a HDMI cable to a monitor 22 inches (LG22EN43).

  After upgrade to 8.1 Windows 64 bit (from the 8 64 bit windows) OS only 20 inches of the screen is beeing used.

  Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080. (1680 x 1050 it displays on 22-inch again)

  As prescribed by the HP helpdesk, I installed the latest driver from the HP Web page display.

  Also the BIOS has been updated, but the two actions did not solve the problem.

  After installation of the AMD Catalyst software, I could access the Catalyst Control Center.  Here, it was possible to adjust the Underscan.

  Now we have 1920 x 1080 on a 22-inch monitor.

• HP Pavilion Dv 7 6110ec: start freezing after AMD graphics driver

  recently I formatted my hard drive, even the part of recovery ({because suddenly windows 7 wouldn't start, and also the fan error has occurred, which I fixed by taking my laptop apart and dust wiping, NO BOOT UP PROBLEM continued, so I changed the hard drive}.) .   Impossible to run even in safe mode, which also freezes at startup...

  So I start from the principle that there must be something wrong with the AMD driver.

  Try not to install the driver AMD after installed Windows 7. Go to your device manager to check if any driver under the graphics card. If there is no driver listed, please use search the hardware changes in the action button on the top. If there is a driver listed, please right click to update the driver.

  You can then run the HP Support Assistant to update your drivers.

  Also, check if all the Windows installed updates.

  I just don't understand why the intel 3000 much more better than my discrete graphic card graphic AMD Radeon HD 7470, I use a dynamic mode here and I can simply compare the quality vs high performance thing. A good example is I open and play NBA 2 k 12 and it seems that the Intel HD graphics card gave a lot more 'PERFORMANCE' and 'QUALITY' of the game when I changed my GPU to save energy, even if I change the settings of the graphics card Intel for its 3D preference by fully optimizing the 'QUALITY' to 0% Performance It gives even more performance + QUALITY in my NBA 2 k 12 compared to my Radeon 7470HD I've also changed the 3D settings to much higher Performance of 80% and 20% of quality. I always found kind of GALs of the graph + giving poor quality makes me inconvinient to use.

• Office Pavilion Elite HPE message: AMD/ATI Video Driver has stopped working properly

  I have a Windows 7 Desktop HPE-410y, this morning, that the flag of the action center was at the bottom of the screen.  I clicked on it and there was a message: AMD/ATI Video Driver has stopped working properly.  He also said I should click on a link for a solution to this problem, but of course when I made the site of HP said that the page does not exist.

  I know that many HP Pavilion DV6T-6100 Quad Edition Entertainment laptop owners might consider the upgrade to the new Windows 8 operating system platform. DON'T DO IT!

  I just bought and installed the official version of Windows 8 Pro o my laptop Pavilion DV6T, which came with Windows 7 pre-installed. I had followed the whole windows 8 preview of the incompatibility issues with the graphics driver fiasco switchable HP for some time. I decided to wait to install the official version of the new OS when it was released on October 26, 2012. I bought and applied the upgrade of Windows 7 to Windows 8 last night.

  I thought I'd call HP this morning to find out when they have planned out an official HP Switchable Graphics driver update to resolve incompatibility issues that many HP users have experienced after the upgrade to Windows 8.

  • They've said, in no uncertain terms, "they have a driver available for this problem, but switchable graphic users would have to pay $200 for the reader and have their technical support engineers to apply."
  • He also told me, "HP has no plan to release an update to the free rider problem, so anyone who decided to upgrade to Windows 8 will have to pay support of $200 to fix."
  • I got also said, "my warranty does not cover this update, not being hardware related and related software."

  I paid over $1,200 USD for my laptop model HP Pavilion DV6T-6100 CTO, less than a year ago. Switchable graphics on this laptop was actually a selling point for me, as well as many other owners DV6T. I find it a very irresponsible business move for HP handle that many of their customers in this way. No other manufacturer of the laptop charges their customers for updates, while their product is still under warranty. I work in it and I'll make sure that the HP brand is avoided by everyone that I know in the future. HP has ceased to be one of the best manufacturers of PC, regarding their support for the customer, to be the ABSOLUTE WORST!

  Every computer I've ever owned was a HP, but I will never buy another PC of this society, ever! It is a promise that will be preserved.

  Switchable graphics users per HP: HP has a compatible driver Windows 8 update available, but it will cost $200 more than the price you already paid for your computer and its security.

  My solution to the problem is neith, supported or recommended by HP.

  It is well known that HP released several categories of patterns DV6t. It seems that they knew they were going to get rid of the graphical configuration AMD/Intel switchable by the end of November 2011. Which is a not keep from seeling as of soon to become obsolete DV6t models that have been do with the soon outdated AMD/Intel graphic switchable setting possible. However they they built a little more of these models after their passage of OEM to Microsft Windows 8.

  This means that it has supported HP DV6t systems with AMD Switchable graphics, which came the same factories that built our systems, but are running Windows 8. These systems have newer versions of the AMD HD drivers that where fate to the DV6t users whose system supplied with Windows 7 pre-installed.  What are these systems including switchable graphics are incompatible with the 'NEW' Windows 8 and windows 8.1 operating system platforms.

  I could give you the exact name of the HP driver for your switchable graphics special configuration that would work flawlessly on your system, but wouldn't you get anything good for me to do. Because of Windows 7 HP Framework installed on your system. You still have questions, try installing updates later than those offered by HP.  HP would also remove any meantion that I would do whatever it is that they offer and which did not come with your system.

  As far as I know the latest AMD/Intel driver is offered by HP which works with systems built by them with Windows 8 x 64 bit preinstalled.

  Merger of Treexy pilot would be required to uninstall all previous versions of display drivers that you have on your system.

  You would also need to disable the Windows 8 and 8.1 automatic update of device functionality. (Go to: settings/PC Info / Protection of the system / hardware / device settings)

  Once there,

  Select: "no, let me choose what to do."

  Select: "never install driver from Windows Update"

  Apply also to the: Action Center settings (settings / control panel / Action Center / change Action Center settings)

  Deselect "Device Software" (Yo can also deselect 'Windows Update')

  Do not worry! Is not disable Windows Update function. It simply avoids messages from receiviing to update your display drivers that work very well. Do these two things also get rid of this triangle of peskyyellow that appears on your display drivers in Device Manager.

  Unistall old drivers display and software. Then, install the latest version of Windows 8 of the package AMD/Intel HD Graphics Driver availible for your particular display configuration. I will also not allow HP Support Center to automatically install the device drivers on your system at this time. In addition, most systems that encounter this issue with display drivers and windows 8 are no longer under warranty anyway.

  You will have no additional problems running, use or configuration of your HP AMD/Intel graphics switchable on your, shortly after you bought, card HP DV6t system with AMD/Intel switchable graphics.

  No Beta Leshcat driver not required to use the only feature you spent all that money for.
