  • Can I download the application that is hosted in BlackBerry App World by giving the URL in the browser?

We intend to release our Blackberry App World application.
And we know that it can be downloaded by navigating from the App World.

But our request, it is only if we can directly download the application from the BlackBerry APP World by giving the URL? (Means that if a customer selects the link, it should trigger the BlackBerry App World and downloads of the application).  We are

Yes, it is possible to do.

You can do this by finding your app in BlackBerry AppWorld online catalogue (available here: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/).  Once you have found your application, click on the button send (on the right side) and then insert your e-mail address.  This will then send a link to your email address which you can then easily transfer it to others as you see fit.  You can also use this method to send links to anyone.  Another suggestion is to take the QR code for your application and include that in your email.  All users need to do is scan this code using the barcode scanner in the AppWorld and it will automatically open the page of the app in BlackBerry AppWorld.

    I hope this info helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphones after update to the last App World no applications installed in 'my world' options

After that I updated the latest App World (3.1.4), I found that there is no apps installed in the section 'my world' even these applications still in my camera (Bold 9900). It is wired that I connected to Blackberry ID through website, I can see them in my list. What is wrong with him?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

I hope it'll work for you! Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry App World has disappeared!

I have a Torch 9800 and I noticed last week that my app world disappeared. I have read options in the forum here and tried a bunch... I tried display of my icons, download app world, making battery pulls, restarts and nothing works. Not to mention that my app missing world, my phone is extremely slow. Someone please help!

It seems that the current solution is to downgrade your AppWorld client to version 4.0.0.55. This is possible by visiting the following link in your browser.

  • Updates of Smartphones from blackBerry App World

    Hello

I have a Bold 9700 running on the Telstra network (Australia).

My App World it tells me I have 5 apps requiring only upgrades. Those who are BlackBerry Messenger BBM Music, Bubble Birds, Facebook and Windows Live Messenger.

However, I updated and rebooted my phone on all these improvements. On the screen to upgrade in the App World, it provides the version number that the app will go to (for example with Facebook, it says v.2.0.0.58) and when I upgrade, I like that v.2.0.0.58 is already installed, which means that the update has been installed correctly, and after doing the upgrade, and enter the application for the first time I had again to accept the terms and conditions.

How can I get App World Register that these improvements have actually been downloaded?

    It's really annoying me!

Cheers for the help of anyone.

    Michael

  • BlackBerry App World Blackberry Smartphones is launched

Hi all, I did not see anyone else post this ad then I thought that I have.  I got this news this morning of the daily update of ZDNet Tech so I clicked the link and downloaded the software from RIM.  I just downloaded an app free radio and the process was flawless (although I still have the old BONES official fatigue.75.)  I want to compare the radio app, IHeartRadio with my favorite Slacker and Moodio.  Here is the link I used to download the Blackberry App Store software.  www.blackberry.com/appworld/download .  I guess now I'll play on App World for the next time instead of working.  Now if Verizon would release the next official OS, I might find myself in Nirvana.

Hello! It was actually announced last night in our ads on this site...

If you have clicked on the link I pasted above which contains the list of countries in which the App World is supported, you'd know that the Egypt is not in the list.

Your ISP in Egypt has not signed agreements to promote the App World for his client. You must call to ask them them to do.

  • Seisin of Smartphones App World for blackBerry...

Am I the only one who finds the whole App World implementation to be annoying beyond all utility?

My first and the biggest complaint is that the ONLY way to browse ALL applications, descriptions, and comments via the application App World, himself installed on my BB ("BOLD", AT & T, BIS). If you go on the site of the App World online with a PC, all you can see are 'Featured Apps' with a paragraph or less description, if that.

I saw the explanation using AW on your BB model, you will see the applications available for this model. Fine, but how hard it is to show this info on the web?

Of course, 3G and WiFi are great on my cell phone, but try to browse through hundreds (thousands? who knows?) applications on a cell phone (granted, a cell phone) is just a pain and a waste of resources. Why can't do research on my computer so I can go straight to the apps I want on my "BOLD"? Why can't buy & and/or send apps directly on the App World website (other than those recommended) without having to install the app on my BB AW?

This brings me to my second complaint. The App World app brings my "BOLD" to a crawl whenever I install it. He brings him to a crawl and finally she breaks down. I have confirmed that it is the App World application through several iterations of installs / uninstalls. Now, it is possible that I have too many apps already loaded for AW to run clean, but given that RIM has also chosen to let me install a mSD card up to 32 GB (not yet available yet), BUT will not LET RUN ME IT APPS, it is quite easy to load some large applications and fill the vacuum. W-T-H RIM, get with the program!

Let's face it - App World is a direct response to the Apple App Store, but if you're going to copy something - at least copy the parts that make it a success - EASY TO USE, FLEXIBILITY of USE, USABILITY &!

Oh, that's too funny! Features placed just under the - announcing the BlackBerry App World:

    • Ability to archive applications for an external memory source
    • Possibility to sort the categories of applications and search results using the following filters: popular, most recent, side, price, provider and App name
    • Improved application performance (faster image and icon loading)
    • Top free and paid applications are displayed
    • Access to BlackBerry App World using a browser on a computer (Coming Soon) *.

Gee, if I knew that RIM would address this quickly, I would have complained sooner - ROTFLMBO

However, I have a problem being accepted by BB App World. I created an account through the North America page, but may not be recognized. Can one last thing, you tell me what is the operating system for the BB? I see applications designed for the following systems: android, iphone, Windows mobile and symbian. The BB uses one of these? Should what system I look for on my BB? Thank you.

Industrial property BB OS... None of those you mention would be not compatible. When you are looking for apps, you need to find not only for the compatibility of BB, but also the numbers of model and operating system (usually large level... 4.x, 5.x vs vs v6.x... sometimes but sublevels as well).

    Good luck!

  • Not available for download from Blackberry App World for blackBerry Smartphones

I had period Deluxe on my 8330 and when I recently spent the 8530 I get this message "Period Deluxe is not available for download from Blackberry App World." when I tried to reinstall the application. I pulled the battery and it still does not work. I even tried to take the app from my 8330 through the phone on Blackberry Desktop switch option, but it still does not work.

I have the Blackberry App world, with my new phone, so I can not image what could be the problem.

The app is for all devices and I have 5.0 on my phone. All my other apps switched very well. I contacted the company that created the application, but they have been a great help because I did not have my proof of purchase by e-mail and have only the email with the code acitivation.

I have boost mobile are limited things on what I can and cannot remove.

The company finally gave me a new code of the application after a few emails back. This still does not resolve why Blackberry App world gave me the message saying that it was not available for download yet showed in my world as uninstalled and in their research.
