  After that we publish a file present, the output displays additional text in the slide notes (e.g. PROJECT ONLY - Version 1.0 - last updated September 2, 2010...).  This text does not appear in the Notes slide from the original file.  I'm trying to determine if there is a framework for managing versions of Powerpoint or presenter that is causing this behavior.  I was not always able to understand.  I'm working on an operating system XP with Office 2010 installed. I use v.7.0.5 Presenter.  I tried to run the 7.0.6 patch update, but I get a message that it is not a valid Win32 application.  I don't know if these 2 problems are associated with the same cause.

  Does anyone know how to solve this problem of Notes slide?

  In Powerpoint - go to the INSERT tab, and then select header and footer, you will see the notes you cite are appearing.

• Why make circles rotates 45 degrees in the slides not listed is not in PDF format?

  I use Acrobat Professional XI and 2013 of PowerPoint in Windows 8.

  I have two PowerPoint slides. A slide is a filled circle. Another slide has an another full cirlce that is rotated 45 degrees. When I convert the PowerPoint presentation with the two slides in PDF format, the circle that is rotated 45 degrees does not appear in the PDF. This is true for all circles in rotation by a factor of 45 degrees with the exception of the circles that are factors of 90 degrees.

  Does anyone else have the same experience? Is this a bug in Acrobat?

  It may very well be because when you perform a save as > PDF, it works. I introduce this behavior of the featurerequest/bug report form.

• With the last update, I can't minimize a window by double-clicking. I want to cut a window in the dock, not hide all open windows.

  I'm a Mac, set user updated to 30.0. Now when I double click to minimize the window in the dock instead of minimize the particular window open, I'm in I get a new tab. I don't find a way to simply reduce the specific window, only to hide all Firefox. I don't want to hide it, I want to only show the dock window is available not not open on the desktop at this time.

  Suggestions did not exactly help (thanks for trying so fast however) except that to try, I looked in the Menu Bar "Window" drop-down menu and he was there: minimize-> order Mr. he does exactly what I want, reducing the window I'm toward the dock, where he sits with the icon reminding me that this is.   The objects being shown has started to 'hidden '.

  'No hidden' AA them and return to the slide not re - not hide them.

  I added a "Hide all" button to the AA, and it solved the problem.  I thought that things would return to hidden when the blade has been reinstated.

  Thanks in advance to have a look at the following question:

  I am using Captivate 5 on Mac. Especially with speech synthesis. TTS works very well. It's the score of the slide. With skin controls I can switch between show and not the note of the slide presentation. But at the end of the slide, notes disappear. I need to stay, for learners can read the text, as long as they want. I tried to stop the slide with a button, but the note continues to be carried out. Otherwise, I created the individual buttons on a slide for the show and the other to hide a text caption. Works fine, but the slide without the option to stop progress. Next alternative is to use advanced actions. That works very well to show and hide the text, but there is a lot of work for all slides. Is there a better way? Ideally, I would like to use the skin, toggle the button show-no view, and the text remains at the end of the slide.

  Side note: the neospeech and loquendo TTS are great. I would hope that Adobe offers more licenses speech soon.

  Just right click on the layer of the audio file of any slide with audio and select subtitling in the context menu.  In Cp5 there is also a button for captioning on the slide Notes tab.  If you selected slide Notes text CC, this button should be active.

  You need to break lines of text, as shown in the slide Notes Panel.  You will need to use some trial and error to find how many words you can fit on a single line with your specific font settings.  The timing is completely controlled in the Audio dialog box slide by dragging the markers for each line of text is displayed.  These markers determine where on the audio track each line appears in the CC text panel during execution.

• Drag notes - is it all as well as to keep the notes for the slide selected in the option window for all projects when you open Captivate?

  If so, please go to UI Expert (check the 4th option in preferences, General settings "Enable workspaces custom... ». You need to restart Captivate. Create a workspace (you have only the classic workspace) where you show the slide notes into an open and active low docking station. If you keep this open workspace, the next time you see the Notes slide immediately.

• Lenovo G560 keyboard works do not at all

  Keyboard laptop Lenovo G560 of my brother stopped working really suddenly, he was trying to connect to Facebook; When he went to type his password, nothing on the keyboard worked.

  I have a few questions about Adobe Captivate 8 and it's characteristic of Notes slide.

  What are the buttons in the Notes slide? I am attaching a screenshot to give an example of screen.

  Am I correct when I say:

  • Captivate 8 automatically updates the text to speech on my calendar once that I update through slide Notes / Text to Speech / generate Audio?
  • Captivate 8 will automatically make a new audio file from the library which is replaced the previous audio file that was in the timeline panel.

  Question:

  • I can add another voice to the Same Timeline by the slide Notes, or must it be in a new slide?
  • How many of you use speech synthesis VoiceTEXT editor which is bundled with Captivate 8? I just learn about it and it seems pretty interesting.

  Just a partial answer: you can choose another voice for every sentence, in the speech dialog box. When annotations to the slides that are intended to be used for TTS change, the "Text-to-speech" button displays an asterisk like in your screenshot, you can use it to go in this dialog box, select the phrases you are looking for another voice and Audio to generate again.

  Box over to the right (global or individual by note) is for TTS, one in the centre is for CC to the slide audio, left most is for CC on video.

  I rarely use the TTS, if I change, I'd much rather to capture a true VO myself.

  I send you the text of the voice-over to my Captivate to a professional agency project and export notes for this slide.   Is it possible?  The slide notes contains any TTS text we now have done professionally.  Right now, I'm just copy and paste the text line-by-line both Captivate for the file, I'll send the Agency.

  Use the print option, define the Type of documents to distribute and check the box 'slide of Notes '.

  Apparently, this a check box export captions and slide Notes slide, so there may be duplicates to delete.

  I have a PowerPoint presentation that will be widely disseminated and I would like to be able to retain the side notes to train presenters with after the presentation has been imported in captivate 3.
  
  I can see the notes in captivate, under the slide so that they have been imported into the project. I would like to be able to post them as training tools for the speaker after the presentation has been published for flash. I don't want the public to see the slide notes.
  
  I did something similar to articulate using different points of view. Slides and notes.
  
  Can someone point me in the right direction please. I guess it's something very simple.

  Hi kchandler,

  Captivate includes the ability to print the project as format of documents in Microsoft Word. In the options for this publication, you can choose to print the Notes slide.

  If you have to slide notes to display in the SWF project version, I think not Captivate (2 or 3) can do it automatically. You will probably need to create a separate project for the presenter version and includes notes like the legends on the slides. If you want to see Captivate have the ability to automatically include slide notes in the published SWF file, you can leave the product team know by filing a feature request.

  Try to think in terms of having reusable symbols.  Think what it through before you try it.

  Use a movieclip instead of a button symbol.  Have a dynamic textfield in this movieclip to the number and value of the textfield object to not be selectable.  Have a picture of this movieclip where it highlighted as one (selected) and the movieclip go there where you are on this slide.

  Use the textfield for the number - assign dynamically so that you don't have to import an image for it.  Use as many of these clips that you need for all your buttons.

  Have functions that reset all buttons at the same time so that when you move to a new slide, selected earlier dates back to mormal... following with setting one newly selected in his "selected" frame

  It has been possible in previous versions, but for some reason, they changed the model of slides, layout, put two answers in a non resizable box in the response box (which can be resized). And spacing didn't affect the lines of text within a single answer, oddly on the spacing between the answers. I tried all sorts of workarounds without a good result. I'm really sorry.
