  Sticky Notes part of the Components of Tablet PC. If you click Start and then type tacky and Sticky Notes does not appear in the programs above section, I recommend their uninstall, restart the computer and resettlement.

  1. Click Start or press the Windows key and type features but do not hit .
  2. Find Windows turn on or off features in the list above and click on it.
  3. After that the Windows features dialog box came upward and finished to fill its list, find Tablet PC components in the list and uncheck the box.

     

  4. Click OK to save the changes, and then restart the computer.
  5. When you have restarted the computer, retrace your steps and check again the Tablet PC components option, and click OK.

  Once this done, click Start or press the Windows key and type sticky. The Sticky Notes program should be in the list of programs above.

• All downloads regardless of browser disappear at the end!

  OK, it's a strange, if I download a file from the internet regardless of what browser I use or the type of file to download it instantly disappears at the end!

  If I open the destination folder, I can see the file appear as is then 100% done and bam, download that he disappeared... I do a search, and the file is not found.

  Antivirus and firewall disabled didn't no change, always disappears.

  Bindu Hi, thanks for the reply, even if Fortunately, this problem is now resolved.  I tried to disable UAC which made no difference.

  It was a problem with my mother in law laptop, so I was not sure when this became a problem (it is not an avid Downloader).

  After some more googling I finally found a topic on the forum by someone else with the same question and he said he began to have problems to download directly after the random AVG stop working properly.

  I noticed when my MIL brought his laptop to me that his Antivirus (AVG 8) ceased to function properly and it was very outdated.  He was also pop up a box on startup with a load of mischief inside.

  I tried to uninstall AVG 8 to start to use the basics of security (I found I couldn't download along with anything else, I tried after that), but the uninstall has had some problems and the VGA directory could not be manually removed.

  I came across an AVG removal tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/avg_arm_sup___.dir/avgremover.exe

  That got rid of the left _ and now fortunately downloads remain where I direct them!

• Playback bar disappears from the slide content when browsing back to a question slide

  My captivate project has the PlayBar disabled on quiz questions, which works very well.  However, if I move to the back of a quiz in a content slide, the PlayBar is gone (even if it is the first time I saw the content).  I tried to adjust the cpcmndshowplaybar to 1 on this content slide to see if it would work, but no luck.

  I tried an empty project with a 1 x blade and question slides x 1 and I get the same bug, disappears from the play bar.

  Hi all, I made a workaround for the problem as follows:

  1 to edit > Preferences > Quiz > settings: I unchecked «hide PlayBar in Quiz»

  2. in the project > Skin Editor: I unchecked «hide PlayBar in Quiz»

  3. on skiing all the content, I executed a playback show advanced action cpCmdShowPlaybar with 1 bar

  4. in the Question pool, on all the content slides I executed a PlayBar hide advanced action cpCmdShowPlaybar with 0

  That did the trick, it is not save time or probably not the right way to do it, but has solved the problem.

  I use a white rectangle and a transparent caption to hide data classified in a demonstration. This rectangle and the legend are marked "show for the rest of the slide. However, at the end of the slide, the rectangle and legend disappear, revealing the data that I have to hide. I value seamlessly transitions, and the two appear to 0.0 seconds. Anyone have any ideas?

  And, I'm afraid that the answer to this question is 'no', but I'll ask anyway: is it possible to edit a demonstration in the same way that you edit an image? In other words, can I 'clear' classified data and have just a blank space there?

  Assuming that the data is part of the screenshot that was broken when recording, you should be able with the right button on the box to highlight and choose merge down. Who would actually clear.

  I just bought a HP Envy 4500 printer,

  When you attempt to print from a PC with windows 7 OS home pro (64-bit), the print job appears in the queue and then disappears, but the printer does not print anything.

  Everything else seems to work very well know

  • The printer prints the internal test page
  • The printer does print when you use iPad2
  • The printer does print when you use ePrint
  • The PC recognizes and communicates with the printer (tried with USB connections and wireless)
  • Analysis feature works very well - when initiated from the PC and printer

  I tried

  • uninstalling and reinstalling the software (several times using software from different sources)
  • restart the printer queue service
  • Disabling the firewall
  • running printing HP and doctor Scan
  • following the instructions described here (the question is the same but the different operating system):

  • combinations of all of the above

  Absolutely no joy in any of them, and in spite of more than 2 hours of research on Google and forums search I can't find a solution.

  Well I finally worked on the fix myself by trial and error.  I changed the security settings for 'All' and 'Creator owner' to 'Print' and "Administer Documents".  Why on earth they were not automatically allowed as part of the installation, I couldn't really say.

  Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.
