Cisco switch Catalyst 3750 does support QoS CBWFQ?
I would understand if the catalyst IOS supports control of bandwidth to a class and offer a minimum bandwidth in a situation of congestion. I have a few applications that need to increase its flow when other classes use their bandwidth. On my 3750 I don't see bandwidth control.
Thank you very much.
Hi you should not have to configure the qos of the mls, just use the political function of the to apply, but from what I remember there are restrictions on 3750 s I don't think you can apply the outbound policy only entrants, but he was able to change most recent IOS, I have not tested recently
It is a good doc on 3750 s qos

Hello
I have 2 WLC 4402 which I configured in the same group of RF. What I see, is, from the windows to AUTO-RF, on the side, I don't see that a single controller.
Each controller is the "group leader".
The controller are connected to the same local network and can ping themselves.
Any help?
A big thank you and best regards
Luigi
Hi Luigi,
Before you can configure really RF grouping each WLC must have at least an access point installed that can hear another point of access that is associated with the other WLC;
In view of all the controllers share the same name of RF group, to form a group of RF, a WLC needs to have only a single access point to hear a point of access to an another WLC
Workflow involved when a system of MRR works to form a grouping RF. It is also imperative to understand where RF calculations occur. This is a preview of what the Solution of Cisco Unified through to familiarize themselves, group and calculate all MRR features:
Controllers, including APs should have a calculated RF configuration as a single group, are provisioned with the same name of RF group. A RF group name is an ASCII string, each access point uses to determine if the other APs they hear are part of the same system.
APs send periodically messages from neighbor who share information about themselves, their controllers and their RF band name. These neighbouring messages can be authenticated by other APs that share the same name of RF group.
APs that can hear the messages of these neighbor and authenticate messages based on the name of Group shared RF, share this information with their connected controllers. Neighbor messages consist mainly of controller IP addresses and information about the AP that transmits the message.
The controllers, who can now identify the other controllers that are part of the RF group, form a logical group to share information of RF. Subsequently, the controllers elect a group leader.
Equipped with detailed information on the RF for each AP environment in RF group, a series of algorithms of MRR are executed at the head of RF group. The algorithms are designed to optimize the AP configurations associated with these functions (with the exception of the cover hole detection and the Correction algorithm, which are executed on the local APs controller):

Transmit power control (TPC)

Can I use two Omni directional ceiling mount AIR-ANT1728 for a 1230AG Aironet (AIR-AP1232AG-A-K9) if so, when and how?
THANX
HASSAN
Hi Hassan,.
You can use two 1728 antennas in Diversity mode but is not to cover two different cells/regions. For most installations, if you just use a 1728 antenna connected to the Right-hand/primary, RP - TNC connector you should be good, if you have obstacles in the area of cell, you can try to use Diversity (antennas 2 x 1728) mode;

When you use a pair of antennas with characteristics corresponding to ensure diversity cellular coverage in your establishment, the guideline is to put these corresponding antennas at one distance independently of the other which is equal to a multiple of the wavelength of the frequency that is passed. The 2.4 GHz wavelength is about 4,92 inches. Therefore, in order to support diversity on a radio of 2.4 GHz with two separate antennas, the antennas must be sufficiently spaced about 5 inches apart. The pair of antenna could also be spaced at multiples of 5 inches, but the distance between the two may not exceed 4 multiples: reflects the waves more far outside that are likely to be so distorted and different late spread that the radio could not work with them. Because each antenna is chosen by himself, both antennas should have the same characteristics of radiation and be placed to provide similar cellular coverage. Two antennas connected to the same access point should not be used to cover the two different cells.* *.

Hello!
I have an aironet 1242AG access point, 2 x 2, 4 GHz (AIR-ANT5135D-R) and 2 x 5 GHz (AIR-ANT4941) installed antennas. I have the gateway lying on a rack near the ceiling. What is the best position for the antennas? Should they be right vertical or by creating a V shape (between the 2 same frequency)?
I do not think that to get a big win out of this, but what are the guidelines?
Thanks a lot for anybodys time!
Hi Isabelle,.
In your case "vertical right" would be the way to go. You might not really need two of each unless you are trying to give a cover type diversity. Take a look;

Filtering of local networks without WIRE of APs
Hello
Is is possible to filter a WLAN of 1 or several APs? We have an obligation to add a wlan open to our network but don't want it available on all of our access points.
Hi Joseph,.
There is an excellent article that can help this requirement;
Take a look at this info;
Allowing substitution WLAN
By default, all defined WLAN transmission on the controller access points. However, you can use WLAN editable to select WLAN is transmitted and who are not on a per access point basis. For example, you can use WLAN to control override goes where in the guest WLAN network or you can use it to disable a specific WLAN in a certain area of the network.

Once you create a new WLAN, WLAN > page edition for the new WLAN. In this page, you can set various parameters specific to this general policy, RADIUS servers, political security WLAN key, and 802.1 x settings.
* Check Admin status under general strategies to activate the WLAN. If you want AP broadcast the SSID in beacon frames, check the SSID broadcast.
Note: You can configure up to 16 WLAN on the controller. The Cisco WLAN Solution can control up to sixteen WLAN for Lightweight APs. Each WLAN has an ID separated from WLAN (1 to 16), a WLAN SSID (name of the WLAN) separate and can be assigned to single security policies. Lightweight APs broadcast all Cisco WIFI WLAN SSID Solution assets and apply the policies that you set for each WLAN.

Voicemail configuration base with CUCM and connections of the unit
Hello again,
I'm still very new to CUCM. I am configuring a CUCMB 6.01 test deployment. He has connections in the integrated unit. I have 2 DNs assigned to users and Cisco IP phones. I use MGCP (Cisco 3745 with 2FXO as gateway). Now, I'm trying to extensions of voicemail installation for the users. I read a lot of documentation on CUCM and unity, but I know that Unity Express is not what I need, and that you have not found information on the basics of implementing voicemail for users of CUCM.
Users are DN 1001 and 1002 respectively. They are part of a list of hunting (broadcast) so that the arrival of incoming calls, both phones will ring simultaneously. Not sure if this has any bearing or not. I would like to be able to put in place so that each DN rings on the IP phone say 6 times, then go to a Unity voicemail box configuration for that user. I have already imported users 2 in the unit. I ran the voice messaging port configuration wizard. Everything looks as if it runs correctly, but I'm stuck really share say CUCM to route the call to the mailbox of the unit. Probably the simplest part. Ideas or help on this would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Impetuous salvation,
CUCM works this way
So the fact that 1001 and 1002 receive calls via a group has a significant impact on this config.
You must keep in mind that a call that is routed through the fighter pilot will always ignore the CFWD settings on phones of hunting member of the group. The normal way to control it then is through disconnection of the Group Hunt members phones combined with the front fighter pilot level settings.
The following section describes how the parameters to call it forward on the phones of individual members Hunt are ignored when presented a call via the hunting feature. Here's a clip;
Hunting and call forwarding
The concept of hunting differs from call forwarding. Hunting allows Cisco Unified Communications Manager to extend a call to one or more lists of numbers, where each such list can specify an order of hunting which is selected from a fixed set of algorithms. When a call extends over a part of hunting of these lists and the party does not answer or is busy, hunting resumes from the next part of hunting. (The next party of hunting varies according to the current hunting algorithm). Hunting has so ignore settings call forward No Answer (CFNA), call forward busy (CFB) or call before all (CFA) for the party to attempt (group member line phones).
Cisco Unified Communications Manager offers the possibility to redirect a call when hunting fails (that is, when the hunt ends without a part of hunting to the respondent, due either to exhaust the list of numbers of hunting is to expire). If used, this final redirection includes an automatic call forwarding action. Therefore, the fighter pilot Configuration window includes call forwarding configuration concepts which are similar to those found on the directory number Configuration window.
Example of a call hunt
Although hunting is different from the transfer, Hunt often develops as a call that gets forwarded to a certain number of fighter-pilot. The protective cover of appeal extends from hunting to allow the final drive after two exhausts of hunting or expires.
A typical call calling hunting can include the following phases:
The appeal of hunting through groupings of posts set up according to the algorithms implemented for each group. Hunting is successful (if it meets a hunting party), exhausts (if all parts of hunting are tempted, but no response), or expires (if the deadline set by the Maximum hunting timer runs out before that all parties are tempted, and none of the parties who have tried to answer).
For the purpose of this example, we assume that hunting does not succeed.
If a form any of the final drive is configured, the call forward for a next destination; otherwise, the call is released.
Maximum hunting timer
The Maximum Hunt Timer field on fighter pilot Configuration window allows the administrator to enter a value (in seconds) to limit the hunting through a list of hunting season. After gaps in the time specified, if hunting was not successful, the call is transferred to a voicemail system, a specific compound number, or some personal treatment (if configured) or the call is released.
The good doc.
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/CUCM/Admin/6_0_1/ccmsys/a03rp.html#wp1078922
If the call goes unanswered or all Member phones are disconnected, then an attacker needs to be applied at the level of the "fighter pilot".
Hunt the settings forward
Before hunting without an answer - when did not answered the call which is distributed through the list of hunting at a specific time, this field specifies how to transfer the call.
Destination this parameter contains the number of the directory to which calls are forwarded.
Before busy hunt - when the call which is distributed through the list of hunting is busy at a precise moment, this field specifies how to transfer the call.
Destination this parameter contains the number of the directory to which calls are forwarded.
Maximum Timer Hunt - enter a value (in seconds) that specifies the maximum duration for hunting. (Used in conjunction with Forward busy hunting)
In your case, it is best to configure the DN of a fighter pilot in the extension of alternatives under the 1001 and 1002
mailbox.
I hope this helps!

There is a thread here somewhere that has helped me get my 2106 implemented with a WLAN a WLAN guest. Now, I'm putting in place a 2nd WLAN on the same WLC. I have created a new dynamic interface, WLAN and corresponding AP group VLAN. However, the lone AP in the new WLAN grows on two local wireless networks, even if it is configured as being only in the second. I must be missing a step in config here, but what?
Hi Jeff,
The feature you're looking for is called WLAN substitute :)

The more widely to mitigate the problem of having to access each AP individually (when using WLAN substitute) is to use templates for common requirement of AP in this way the WLAN function of WCS substitute can be applied at the level of the model and then eliminated different groups.

Hello, I just got 9 AIR-LAP1252AG with the lightweight operating system by mistake.
I do not have a Cisco WLC, I use a BSC1100.
Can I use the CLI to configure an SSID and 1252 semi-autonomous work?
Or do I have to reload a stand-alone OS?
All comments welcome,
Fred
Hi Fred,.
You must load an IOS;
Follow these steps to return mode LWAPP stand-alone mode by loading a version of Cisco IOS using a TFTP server:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1 the IP address of the computer on which the server software runs TFTP should range from 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.30.
Step 2 make sure the PC contains the file access point (for example, c1200-k9w7 - tar.122 - 15.JA.tar for a 1200 Series access point) in the TFTP server folder and the TFTP server is activated.
Step 3 on the PC where, the TFTP server perform the following steps:
a. disable the firewall, such as Windows, ZoneAlarm firewall firewall software, McAffee firewall or other.
b. ensure that all Windows are visible. In Windows Explorer, click Tools > Folder Options > view > show hidden folders and files.
Step 4 rename the access point image file in the folder of the TFTP server c1200-k9w7 - tar.default for a series of 1200 point, c1130-k9w7 - tar.default of access for a series of 1130 access point and c1240-k9w7 - tar.default for a series of 1240 access point.
Step 5 connect the PC to the access point using an Ethernet category 5 cable (CAT5).
Step 6 disconnect the power to the access point.
Step 7 push the MODE button and hold the button while you reconnect power to the access point.
Step 8 hold the MODE button until the status of the LED turns red (approximately 20 to 30 seconds), then release.
Step 9 wait until restarting access point, as indicated by the LEDs become green followed the status LED flashes green.
Step 10 after the access point reboots, reconfigure using the GUI or the CLI.
The good doc.
I hope this helps!

Substitution of WLAN in CLI Config
I currently have the box to open with TAC where my LWAPs lost their substitution parameters. The solution I gave is to manually add the SSID for substitution via the user interface settings. The GUI sucks for that. Can't search for text and that you cannot sort columns.
Y at - it a command to add the SSID for substitution in CLI settings?
Hey Wilfred,
Using the CLI to activate WLAN replacement
To turn on WLAN substitute the controller CLI, enter the following command:
activate wlan ap config {802. 11A |} 802 11 b} cisco_ap
To set the local wireless networks that you want to pass, enter the following command:
Add config wlan ap {802. 11A |} 802 11 b} wlan-id cisco_ap
