• SOA-INFRA is State FAILURE while improving the Oracle Identity Manager to 11.1.1.5

  This issue occurred when we tried to improve our IOM to version 11.1.1.5.

  All suites installation went well (Oracle IDAM 11.1.1.5) and SOA Suite 11.1.1.5. The field is also created, and schemas are also upgraded. But when we create a domain, the domain created, the SOA_INFRA application comes in the onset of failure, even if the soa server returns execution state.

  Hi, I set up an oracle instance with infallible oracle on a cluster with two nodes of microsoft.
  On Oracle failsafe documentation is written that I have to use the enterprise Manager grid:

  Is it possible to use the normal Enterprise Manager?

  I think you're talking about Enterprise Manager Database Control to find the file of portlist.ini consult port located under ORACLE_HOME\install.

  Another way, I guess you are on Windoze:

  set ORACLE_HOME =
  Set ORACLE_SID =

  CD %ORACLE_HOME%\bin
  emctl status dbconsole

  and check the result

  Hello, I am new to Oracle and try to get information about the following hotfixes:

  •	Oracle Grid Infrastructure Patch value update 11.2.0.3.7 (including the PSU 11.2.0.3.7 database) - 16742216
  •	Database Security Patch day 11.2.0.3.0 (CPUJUL2013)
  •	The update 11.2.0.3.7 value database patch (includes CPUJUL2013)

  Could someone help me find the details of these updates.  I searched around Oracle site and google for them, but mostly I am subject to an oracle connection or the blog of someone.  If it's easy could someone possibly provide details here in this thread?

  Each patch comes with a README file that describes what the patch is supposed to do and how to apply the patch

• OpenScript performing through the Oracle Test Manager on linux environments

  I developed a couple of tests OpenScript (Java only) in my development environment (Windows). But I struggle to run these tests using Test Manager (which runs on a Linux - production environment) while BTA, they work perfectly well. We have the latest installed version of OATS is 12.1.0.2.
  
  When I try to run my tests OpenScript (via OTM) I get this error in the process_console log file:

  Starting today, you can not run script OpenScript OTM on Linux. It's on the roadmap, but no I have not yet calendar.
  Two workaround options:
  1 / you deploy a remote agent on windows
  2 / you create a custom script in testcase type and you use the command line to run a load test script

  JDK/bin/java-jar OLTCommandLine.jar - run - session = test1_ad1-scenarioFile=/export/.../Test_Ad1.scn - OLTServer = localhost:8088 - user = oats-password = UE1-log=/export/.../ad1.log

  The bundle of plates are observable by build number. If you go to metalink and check the patch bundle, there is a build number associated with them, usually also contained in the xellerate/config/Version.props file. What is written in XSD table during patching. Once installed, there is no identifier that says "applied BPXXX.

  I see, well, you could do a report and export all the test cases, but I think it will be a lot of your time and you would lose another users, attachments, custom projects etc. fields...

  If you need to re - install the database, the best thing to do is a back up and restore, I assume that you use the database default installed (Oracle XE), here are the instructions on how to do a back up and restore:

  Let's say I have an application that has logout URL as http://abc.com/app.cgi?function=logout&user=LOGGED_USER.
  In this case, logged in user will always be different, but you want the user to sign out when this URL is hit. In this scenario, you can use query string variables and specify the function = disconnect it.

  In other scenarios where you know all the query parameters and you want to protect these URLs then the query string can be used.

  I can't start the Oracle Management Server.

  The file referenced on has not been updated since October 6^th, I joined this EMGC_OMS1 file.

  The 12.1 database is on a separate server. The database and listener are on the rise.

  Portfolio Manager of Oracle that comes with the OAS 10 g cannot be upgraded.

  You must upgrade complete Oracle home itself so that the OWM gets updated with it.
