Good HDMI cable (non - MHL) map U2415 "HDMI (MHL)"?

So, I U2415 on the way, as well as a cheap temporary video card with HDMI but no claim of MHL. To simply use an HDMI cable or a cable MHL support? If a cable can now support regular HDMI and HDMI (MHL) on the road then I suppose I should get this one.

Thank you, Drew

You must contact the manufacturer of any device that can connect via HDMI, MHL to find out which cable they recommend for their device.

  • Is there such a thing as dispatcher HDMI cable?

I want to connect my ATV4 to my TV and my stereo. Are there good HDMI cable dispatchers markets available? Such a thing would be called a 'splitter '?

Seems unlikely due to HDCP problems. Of course, you can connect ATV to the receiver and the receiver to the TV, but this means that you must have to use ATV receiver. There are devices that divide the HDMI audio for an optical link. If it works for you? If the TV has an optical output, you can get audio out to your receiver. Here's my setup.

  • Windows 7 does not have HDMI export

I installed Windows 7 on my desktop and laptop and neither one will be released in the plasma on the HDMI.  I have all the updates for Windows 7 and the latest Windows 7 drivers for the graphics card.

The laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6772nr Entertainment Notebook with a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 M GS video card.

The office is one I build running on a 2.66 GHz Intel Pentium 4 chip and has a videocard ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series.

    Hi Biz2risky,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers CommunityForum site!

In order to solve your problem, you must first check if the laptop and the computer has HDMI output port?

    Step 1
Choose the connection for video output. If your computer has an HDMI port, otherwise, you will need to make some decisions. If your computer has only a single video output, and it will not only on television, you can invest in a new video card. Buy one with an HDMI or DVI output and install it in an available housing, according to the instructions included with it. If you intend to use the VGA output on a single output map or double output to control the HDMI display, then a special device will be needed to perform a conversion between formats, and the price of the converter is actually about the same price as an entry-level video card which will be easier to use with your TV. In this case, it may be a good idea to upgrade the card to obtain a DVI or HDMI port. However, if your chosen output port is the variety of DVI, an inexpensive DVI to HDMI cable can be purchased to convert the output of your computer in good HDMI to your TV input.

    Step 2

Connect the HDMI to your TV cable to your computer. Install the right adapter or converter for your computer, if necessary. Unless your computer has a HDMI output, cords will also be connected the sound card to output to the HDMI video cable or adapter, because HDMI carries the video and audio signals.

    Step 3

1 1.      Start your PC and configure the display of new,.
    2. go into 'Control panel' in the Menu 'start '.
    3. double-click the "Display" icon and click on the tab "settings".

Your HDMI TV manual will list the screen resolutions it supports, as well as the refresh rate.

Set the resolution in the "Settings" tab and then click on the "Advanced" button to set the refresh rate.
If you use the HDMI TV as a second monitor, you also need to configure how it is used by Windows, according to the instructions for your video card. Most of the maps offer a 'Clone' or 'Mirror', where both screens display the same content. Alternatively, the "Extended desktop" mode can be used, in which each monitor will operate independently.

    Step 4

Restart your computer to apply the changes, if necessary.

I hope this helps solve your problem!

    Thank you best regards &,.

  • Dell S2440L will not display size full screen using my HDMI input

I have a laptop connected via VGA to this monitor and it takes size to display full-screen (ie. the image goes all the way at the edge of the screen).  My desktop PC is connected to the same monitor via a HDMI Monster of good quality cable and my resolution is set to 1920 x 1080 and again the display was about a black 1 inch around edge (ie. the picture is NOT all the way on the screen - there is about an inch all around here it's dark).  When I go to OSD, the Auto setting is gray.  The menu OSD tells me that I'm using "resolution: 1080 p".  I tried to reset the settings of the monitor, but that did not help.

Because the screen is narrowed down, I don't actually use a native resolution and text rendering is horrible.  In some cases, it is so bad, it is difficult to read some screens.  I need to know how to solve this problem, otherwise the monitor will be back in the store.

    Thank you
    Ray

I think that there is a problem with my graphics card.  I connected another computer to this monitor via HDMI and the monitor worked fine.

  • What's the deal with HPs "cable special fax phone"?

I just want to know what is special. What did HP?

My best guess? It's just a single line of telephone cable, one pair (1line ends RJ11 cable) cable. To reduce interference from line 2 - according to something I read.    Would like to know this.

The phone cable that comes with a printer for faxing is a 2-wire cord. Used to make telephone calls telephone cable has 4 wires.

The extra 2 wires in the cable non-telecopie are used for the antennas to help boost the sound signal. However, this causes the static signal that reduces the transmission of fax. That's why a 2-wire cord is used for the fax.

    I hope this helps.

  • XPS 8500 additional SATA Drive add...cable/power questions

Nothing on sites Web of Dell (after two hours of seraching, including a chat with a Dell representative session) on how to add a hard drive from a dell computer. I'm simply confused (this happens regularly) it is difficult to find, or you really need to add a simple video on how to add an extra SATA (how many times people do that?).

No info on cables, power supplies, how many readers you can add, etc.

So this is the kind of thing I need... Thank you! How do I add a SATA, which cable does, esp if the slots for the cables are already taken by the BluRay player... can get a cable SATA outputs multiple?

    Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Bev... screw seems to be the only parts I have.

I am therefore reason to believe that I can put only two disks sata in this 8500, right? and we're already here, so I can really only add one, correct?

Where are you going to get the good SATA cable?

the manual referenced does not something specific on SATA wiring part I looked. Should not be too much of a pest, but do you have a specific reference.

    Rick

    Colorado_RBauer

    Rick,

Yes, you can add an additional hard disk, the disk hard primary exsisting. to add several internal hard drives, you need an open 3.5"/5.25" bay and to install more than four SATA drives, SATA PCIe x 1 expansion card would be necessary.

You should be able to buy a SATA data cable in a store of the local computer, or www.newegg.com for more details, go here,

Better to use a local store to save the S & H

Sorry to say, that the manual is the only reference that Dell has released, as most newer Dell manuals, missing many details.

Install the secondary hard drive is usually relatively in line forward, you must connect the data cable to a SATA connector on the motherboard, and after installation checking the installation process, to see if the drive is recognized.

If the drive is recognized in the installation program for Windows to recognize the second hard drive, it must be patitioned, formatted and received a drive letter using disk Windows 7 Manager.

  • Banner hosting CC Adobe still is not to good on monitor HiDPI retina

I tried both methods recommended in the Cory Hudson posts on this topic, but I'm not able to get clear results. The techniques I've tried are found in these two articles.

HTML5 Ad creation with Adobe CC animated step-by-step | Blog hosting the Adobe team

Create ads in HTML5 with CC animate: canvas reactivates the scale. Blog hosting the Adobe team

(essentially the scale to the top of my 200% chart, then the clip in which it resides up to 50%. My image looks good on a non-retine screen but the image looks munged and fuzzy on a retina display.

I just added my own graphics to format double and put on the scale then it is the movieclip to 50% in the file that Cory article provides. Here is a link to this file Animate. If anyone is familiar with this technique could take a look, I would be very happy.

below you can see the screenshots taken with the same file HTML is available on the retina and a non-retine monitor.

    screenshotFromRetina.jpgscreenshotFromNonRetina.jpg

    Thank you very much! Tom

It looks a lot like a retina display (I tested on my Macbook Pro), but not so good non-retine. (Thunderbolt screens aren't retina and have a lower pixel density, despite their large size).

What you see, it's pretty standard for thin vector lines on screens with a low density of pixels; It is not a problem specific to animate.  If you enlarge the logo it looks good on the retina and non-retine poster, because you will have the same number of fine lines on the fraction of pixels on your screen non-retine.

  • Design of images of the map

are there good ground rules in the design of your card images?

How do determine you the "live space" for the image of your card?  to make your design not get trimmed or cut?

At that time, DPS 2015 does the following:

-The aspect ratio card format and image (for the top, left and right image) determine the shape and size of the image under the influence of size of card (column & row) and the proportions of the provision.

-L'image of the map (for articles, banners and collections) is adjusted to fill the area of the image of the map, then centered and cropped.

General orientation is to use a large images for all images in the card so that you get a good result for the large maps as well as small cards.

But the main focus at this point is to be very aware of what is at the center of the image. "Artsy" rule of third-party images will not survive.

There is an interaction between these factors and you have to play with the design of card to make your work plan. Make graphics for a wide and short card image fill the maximum space of a map may take some fiddling with serious at first. Look at the scale to fill the result very carefully.

N.B. - the brand image is treated differently.

Brand image is adjusted to adapt, instead of the scale to fill. We do not crop the image of brand.

  • you periodically to Apple TV, mine will suddenly link is no longer

You have updated Apple TV?  Mine connects suddenly is no longer.  Good HDMI cable. Need to connect to the computer and go to iTunes for a updated?

The latest version of the software for the 3rd generation is 7.2, released some time ago. If you had not put at all you'd really only run out of performance improvements and bug fixes, it os is not required for the device works, but it is highly recommended for best performance.

If he have the poorly connected, try another HDMI cable and port

    Test it on another TV

If it persists then you need to connect to iTunes, in order to bring the device to its factory settings and reload the software

  • No directions for TV - HPE-180 t PC tuner

When I got my new computer, I had no cable or television.  So, I didn't have much attention so that there are no instructions, or anything on how to connect a cable to the card.

I discovered the card is a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1290.  I'm still looking for a manual, nothing on how to use it.

There are two cables on the map, and writing next to them makes no sense at all.  I tried a cable on both inputs.

The only program that is on the computer is Windows Media Player, which could see the TV.  However, there is nothing there that points to the connection.  Everything he says is to contact the manufacturer of the card in the help sections.

  • Updated my graphics card

Hello guys, I'm going to buy the

HP Envy 700-056/700-216 desktop computer with AMD A10 - Quad Core processor accelerated soon and I'd like to update the graphics card I can play COD on it. Apparently HP computers are known for being finnicky with different graphics cards? I would like to know if the

EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti w/G-SYNC Superclock support 2 GB memory GDDR5 128-bit, Dual-Link DVI - I, HDMI, DP map chart 1.2 works on it. What the recommended power supply with this combo? I believe that this computer has power supply 300W

    Reconsister2, welcome to the forum.

If it's the video card that you want to review, it should work with computers.  The problem is that card manufacturers have made their cards need UEFI instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI full until mid-October 2012.  Given that the two computers you listed have Windows 8.0/8.1, they must be good.

Now, the map in the link shows that it requires a power supply (PSU) 300W or more.  I read the various reports on this subject, however.  If you decide on the map, you can try it with the existing 300W POWER supply to see if it works.  It won't hurt a thing to try.  It simply will not work correctly if it requires more power.
