• Problem XML tutorials online don't seam to work

  I'm totally new to actionscript (barely able to configure the IDE for Linux).

  I have trouble parsing an xml file containing namespaces. All the tutorials and samples that I found online do not work for me.

  While I have tried several tutorials online codes, but they don't seam to work. NOTE: I can't trace command work on my Ubuntu machine, so I use a label txt to the release of the results. Any help would be welcome. Looks like stop programs running in myXML [CODE] = new XML (e.target.data); Line [/ code]. Normally, it will display all the contents of the xml file once I have remove all spaces in the file names.

  The best will be provided by Oracle itself.  Most of the courses have "training on demand", "live virtual" and "self-study", in addition to the classroom.

  I would be suspicious that not provided by Oracle.  I've seen far too many people on this forum "training" of some 'Institute' and all they know is how to navigate a few GUI.  Forget any understanding of what is happening real or problems of skills.  They are people with a certification in auto repair, but do not know what a candle and seem confused when you actually open the trunk ("cap" for my British friends) and their show a motor.

  AE does not support lut. No 1 d, 2D, not 3D. Sorry, you're out of luck on this one here. If you can convert all lut to use a standard ICC profile, of course, it can be used with its engine Adobe color settings in all their programs, but not otherwise. I think that FCP supports 1 d LUTs and some 3D LUTs, however.

• OT: Question Freelance (Online Quiz)

  I want to create a series of quizzes associated with articles on my Web site. Most of the quiz will be probably 10 questions, although some may have questions 25, 50 or even 100.

  I want to give visitors the ability to record and log in for their test data (ID, date taken test and score) can be entered into a database. They can then visit a profile page where they can see the data on all the tests they took, a convenient way to monitor their progress. I think same implementation with the graphics bar. So if they take the test of Animal behavior, four times, they can easily see how much they have improved.

  I spent the last week or both work on the quiz of basic - and it works very well, with the exception of a few minor bugs. But adding sessions, connect to a database, etc is going to take forever. It is actually more difficult to find good tutorials online or download as most are pre - AOP; you need to change database queries to work with PDO function. It's not hard to do, but they often have additional code that must also be done to AOP-compliant, a pain without end in Lacrosse.

  If only I could get my quiz engine that is currently connected to a PHP sessions and database, then it may not be too difficult to find bugs remain one at a time. The questions are all multiple-choice questions, but I want to change it so that it can include fill-in-the-blank questions. I also want to change so that radio buttons are not visible; visitors could then simply click a response (from the style as a button).

  So I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good place to advertise for the liberal professions for such a project and an estimated cost. I work mainly with PHP, and my quiz also uses jQuery with a key of JSON response (which I will try to convert them to a PHP script which automatically creates keys of correction of the data stored in my database).

  As someone who has the skills to do what you are looking for, my impression is that you probably haven't the budget to make it worth my while, everything simply because it looks like it's a personal project (even if you hope to make money) and you initially hoped to build it yourself but now are ready to provide additional help with more involved programming.

  Since you're certainly not a coder experienced, it would certainly be more effective for a good coder start from scratch than to try to fix your code. You may wonder how I can say your code needs fixing without seeing what you've already done. Here's why:

  • You told us that a database is not yet a part of this project, but such a project would be necessarily heavily based on a database. The user records but for everything from game as well. If the code will need to be rewritten to be dynamic.
  • Secondly, although the code you've already written can be functional, it is unlikely she code, effective, easy to manage. Good coding skills are developed through years of practice. Just because something works does not mean that it works well.

  So we can think about hiring someone to manage the hard parts, but a good coder insist no doubt going back to square one and start over from scratch. So who starts its beyond your budget, then here are two possible options:

  • Continue to develop yourself. Download the PHP powers Solutions book. He uses examples PDP and there is much in this book that would be relevant to your project.
  • Find a software based on the web quiz/survey that has already been written. There could be a service that hosts the surveys but can give your own corporate identity.

• How can I add a new subfolder for lightroom without sync entire folders tree?

  I have about 50 000 images in a directory tree on my PC.    They are carefully classified and separated into subfolders by date, topic, etc.    However, every time I download pictures from my camera in a new subfolder in that tree, I synchronize it to get Lightroom to 'see' the new folder.   It is a pain because it's starting to take a time LOOOOOOONG to go through this process.

  Is there a way to simply tell Lightroom "look, here's a new subfolder, recognize and import the photos inside the catalogue?

  Yes it is. In the dialog to import in the area Source point LR to the real subfolder. All of the drives, folders, and subfolders are visible in the import dialog.

  It displays all of the subfolders in the library module is why you use the function synchronize in a top-level folder. It shows that all drives, folders and subfolders when you click on the button import in the library module.

  The only time that a drive or folder appears in the library module is once you have imported the pictures in this folder.

  You can also use the import dialog window to all your copy from a memory card or the camera and place them in a folder of your choice and or manufacturing as well as their import at the same time.

• Upgrade Dreamweaver/MAMP on Mac (Lion)

  It is a pretty broad question. I worked on a MacBook Pro on Leopard for 6 1/2 years. I used Dreamweaver and MAMP, but very rarely updated their.

  I've finally updated to a new MacBook Pro running Lion and want to get up to speed on Dreamweaver, MAMP, PHP, MySQL, etc.. After five years or more, I have some hoops to jump through.

  In any case, I would like General advice anyone can offer about the installation and implementation of Dreamweaver or MAMP Mac running Lion. Also, it would be great if you could point me to some good tutorials online. (I find tutorials with Google, but have not found a lot of good information yet.)

  I should point out that I use Adobe Creative Suite 3. I can't afford to move to CS5.5, so I think the Dreamweaver upgrade only.

  (1) what do should I name the folder containing my sites, and where should I put it? My most old laptop has a default folder named Sites in the following location...

  Users > (user) > Sites

  However, Lion isn't such a record. MAMP installs any semblance to a folder of Web sites by default, or it will give me an option to designate such a record?

  (2) if MAMP gives me the option to choose a particular version, what versions of PHP, MySQL and Apache do you recommend I work with?

  To your first question.  Yes, it is possible to run multiple copies of Adobe programs.  Only thing you can't do is running 2 versions of the same application simultaneously (for example: DW CS3 and CS5.5 simultaneously).

  Adobe calls this ScriptUI and you will discover the class, properties and methods in the Javascript Tools Guide. I don't know any tutorials online, but more to the PS-Scripts, we have a lot of examples and extracts.

  If you use Windows, there is a free application that allows you to create a dialog with drag-and - drop controls. When you're done, it creates a resource string that you can use in your script. http://www.jkozniewski.com/tools/CSUIB_2.0a.zip  I used it when I frist started to make dialog boxes, but now I don't like the method of creating resources dialog box. And it has not been updated in some time. You can always take a look.
