  If the triangles are not working, but Greasemonkey is still running on Google, you could update the script. I just added a new option to replace the triangle with inline links. This may work work around the problem that you are experiencing.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  -Is the issue limited only with Google icon or all other icons?
  -Are you referring to the Chrome browser?

  -What happens when you try to access it?

  -You are able to use Internet Explorer?

   

  Method 1: If subjects with Chrome, then I suggest you to access Google Chrome from Program Files.

  (a) click Start.

  (b) click on all programs.

  (c) select Google Chrome.

   

  Method 2: Try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome.

  (a) click Start.

  (b) select Panel.

  (c) click programs and select programs and features.

  (d) (d) verifier check for Google Chrome in the programs, then right-click and choose Uninstall.

  (e) reinstall Google Chrome.

  Well, I found a way to block google completely and still allow for gmail, google reader, adwords and some other applications.

  The only application, I wish I could go to work is google calendar, but this is not to be the case.

  Here's how I did it:
  1 - set the DNS WAN servers to use the openDNS servers
  2 - go to openDNS and block search engines
  3. - then put bing.com and yahoo.com on the white list
  4 - put all the google apps you need on the white list as well.
  mail.Google.com
  accoutnts.Google.com
  Drive.Google.com
  and so on...

  I'll check with the support team and see if they have made any progress on the ticket to impose google safe search.

  In the last 10 days, I did a lot more tests using webmaster tools, robots.txt and meta tags just to see who all the claims above continues.

  Here's what I discovered:

  -If an asset download was immediately obtained during validation, it will not appear in search engines.

  -If a download of media was not secured, it will appear in the serach engines.

  -to remove media downloads the Google cache item, you will first need to ensure that the element to use google webmaster tools and remove it. -If you have multiple items, you will need to do this for each item individually.

  -Once cached by a search engine, media such as pdf or mov files cannot be deleted using tags meta, robots.txt, reindexing regardless of what you try and how you configure them.

  The best thing you can do is to just use the Google query methods to remove the content.

  You did the messages on a public site on the internet, google came along and copied this public content, which they have the right to do so.   All forums (as well as any Web site) on the internet get indexed by search engines. That's what makes search engines, a powerful and popular method of finding information and what the internet is all about (shame some people with questions do not use everything first before posting ;)). • WRT54G v1.0 Firmware upgrade

  I'm trying to update the firmware for a WRT54G v1.0 (I think, it doesn't have a version # on the sticker).  I downloaded the firmware (through a google cache to the linksys support page cuz link is down).  I have unziped the file. I did a hard reset (60.60.60).  Then I connected to my router (admin pass so I don't know the reset worked) went to "system > Firmware update > Upgrade" opened the dialog box.  Then I bowsed to the .bin file found he opened it and clicked on 'Upgrade'... nothing has happened... waited... still nothing, no progress bar, nothing, nada, neah... whats up?

  I can still access the router as usual and ect is just the dialog box upgrade that seems broken.

  So, any ideas?
