  Disable a built-in version of Flash and maintain the only version you downloaded separately activated. Here's how:

  Cannot use the Safari search bar or open a new tab favorites since installing 10.11.3 patch. I tried to restart Safari and my computer problem still persists. I also disabled 'include suggestions Safari' from the 'smart search' field under my Safari preferences (see below); restarted my computer and the problem persists.   That is why I tried to open on chk dsk, stright from the beginning, and tries to open the screen but closed within a second.
  I wanted to do chk dsk as part of cleaning a little or some error checking to help with the issue.
